The fabric I choose was a copy of an old Williamsburg style fabric, so I felt it very appropriate for this lovely rare stool. I actually call it a bench because it is so large. Condition: The stool is in excellent condition with no breaks or flaws to the old lovely patina. There is a repair to one corner and I took pictures so you could see it. Other than that it is lovely. It has never been around animals or smoke. I restore and reupholster my furniture when needed and I have a big carriage barn that I store my antiques in.NO animals.NO smoke and I sell in lovely condition. This listing is for a vintage vinyl covered wood. Gout stool. I don't see a maker's mark on it. It measures 21"x12" 15" to the top of the rest, 9.75" high at the low end, and 14.25" high at the high end. There is a small puncture in the vinyl, that can be seen in the third photo, and there is a small wear spot on the corner of the high end. Vintage older wood footstool Nice old wood item what I assume to be a foot stool. The piece is old and quite original looks to be hand made. The item shows significant use and age. The finish is untouched and the wood patina is very attractive. There is a non distracting crack or split on the top center this adds to the flavor of the piece in my opinion this can be seen in the images. There are signs of past very old repairs as well. The images detail the item and its construction. Its craftsman made and doubtless for a specific application several decades ago I would guess it served as a foot stool. This item would make a great plant stand. I can picture a bronze or older plaster statue sitting on this as well. Very retro older wood item with a lot of soul. Beautiful. Victorian era, small, round lady's antique cast iron and wood footstool. The three cast iron legs and the edge of the solid wood base have been painted an egg-shell white/cream. Paint has chipped off in spots, adding to the character and age of the piece. The top is a beautiful needlepoint pastoral scene of girl on a bench next to a pitcher with a cherub; background is deep red orange. It may be the original, partial original, or a replacement cover. If original or partially original, it is in stunningly mint condition. If a replacement, it looks very authentic to the piece. Up for consideration I have a this Vintage Victorian Wooden Footstool with a floral burgundy needlepoint cover. This item is in excellent vintage condition. The needlepoint fabric has a small worn spot in 2 corners as seen in the pictures. I am sure it can be recovered. Legs and frame are very sturdy. There are 2 standard screws holding each leg on and 4 standard screws holding top to wooden frame. Please view my pics they are the best description I have done nothing to the stool. Here's a very cute solid wood footstool with a cut out in the center for a handle. It stands a little over 9" high and it is 7 1/2" x 14" across the top. There is a marking on the underside bottom to tell you what it is made from which seems to be from ship's-boat wood. It is dated with 1969. It is marked with"SS Steel King" on the bottom along with other writing which is that it is made from"ships Donnage" and what we assume to be the person's name who made this. We are not familiar with theships name. It is very well made. Nice and sturdy! The wood is a hard wood and has a finish like a walnut stain. Top is covered with a black needlepoint with a floral center and nailhead trim. The piece measures 11" wide and stands 7 1/2" tall. Sturdy but as it is old it has just a bit of give to one leg.
