Your looking at a vintage old stool found in grandparents attic with some old traps and bible from 1835. Need new paint and legs could use glueing but works great and holds at least my weight of 103lbs. I was told it was from Kutztown Pa. where all the amish are. Thats about all I know. I also have a metal step stool listed that I never seen one like it.

Up for auction is this simply lovely solid wood and needlepoint style woven fabric foot stool from an estate sale. Stool measures 17" long and 13 1/2" wide. Stands 10" high. Lovely curve to the legs and beautiful wood grain. I do not know different types of wood so I am not sure what type it is. This piece is in absolutely excellent vintage condition and doesn't look like it was used much at all. There is only one tiny nick on one side the size of a flea. Antigue Barley Wood Petite Children's Piano/Organ wood stool w Ball Claw Foot
I picked this beautiful old Barley Twist chair up at the estate sale of an old lady who happened to also be a longtime piano and organ teacher. It's a splendid little piece with claw foot ball feet that we originally bought for our children but cannot keep. I'm honestly not sure on much else though as it has no visible markings(maybe I'm looking in wrong places) and my research hasn't yielded much-which has been quite vigorous! All I know is pretty much what I've described above and that it is solid wood. Stands at about 15" tall and is 9" wide in diameter(non-adjustable seat is 2" thick) making it much smaller than all other piano and organ stools leading me to also believe that it was originally made for little children-and that's what the estate sale professional said which also goes hand in hand ... morewith the ladies occupation.but who knows? I do weigh about 190 lbs however and can sit on it with no problem whatsoever, so this thing is definitely strong and sturdy! Anyhow. Vintage foot stool with a maroon cross stitch padded top. Maroon cover has pink roses with green leaves in the center. Base in very good condition. some of the tan background cloth does show thru the stitches in spots and there is a small flaw in the stitching underneath the roses next to a small green leaf to the right of it. Also one pulled thread in the far right which has been left as is. This is a very pretty foot stool with a classic antique look. See all photos. A nice antique wood slab 3-leg stool. The seat roughly 10" in diameter by 11"tall and a 1 1/2" rough cut sawn slab. Stands about 11 inches tall. Legs look to be hand shaved. Nice overall with some wear, no apparent damage, legs have a slight wiggle. Top has a minor split but is very solid. Look at pics and ask questions. OLDER WOOD FOOT STOOL looks to be craftsman made based on the construction. I would guess produced prior to 1950 the color has a deep patina there is a lot of wear from use present as well. Some minor cracking as well from the wood drying out over the decades. Sadly the top wood was removed and replaced with a piece modern wood this is recent as well as the fabric shown. Wonderful small stool that can be easily restored. This piece would pop with a piece of older leather instead of the fabric shown. Neat item that would fit in a variety of older decors. It appears that at some point through the years additional support was added(brackets underneath) for stability. This stool is very sturdy& stable. The age is unknown. But you can see in the close-up photo the"worm holes" in the wood. This was common back in the day as materials were scarce and nothing was wasted. While some would consider these marks as blemishes. Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a really great example of beautifully hand-crafted furniture. The attractive curved 4-leg configuration is very stable and still in excellent shape. It was obviously designed to stand up to a heavy workload. But the stool has seen its share of use over the years. There are small saw marks in a couple places on the seat edge. The seat has apparently come loose at some time in the past and been reattached with L-brackets. Although this may not be original, it is very sturdy. The foot ring does have a split in it. These things can be observed in the photos. The chair could be restored by a skilled woodworker. Approximately 28” tall x 15” square. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions. Vintage/Antique Primitive Rustic Wood Step Foot Stool Farmhouse Milking Bench
You are bidding on a great antique small wood/wooden step stool or a milking stool. I believe the photos do most of the talking for this item. It is 16" x 8" x 7.25" tall. You can see the crack in the top but it is secure and not at all weak or loose. It is strong and I am a big guy and I stood on it. If you have questions ask them before you bid.
