There is scratching to the wood sides that could be covered up with wood stain. There are no holes, pulls or stains on the top cover. It measures 21"x12" 15" to the top of the rest, 9.75" high at the low end, and 14.25" high at the high end. Vintage older wood footstool Nice old wood item what I assume to be a foot stool. The piece is old and quite original looks to be hand made. The item shows significant use and age. The finish is untouched and the wood patina is very attractive. There is a non distracting crack or split on the top center this adds to the flavor of the piece in my opinion this can be seen in the images. There are signs of past very old repairs as well. The images detail the item and its construction. Its craftsman made and doubtless for a specific application several decades ago I would guess it served as a foot stool. This item would make a great plant stand. I can picture a bronze or older plaster statue sitting on this as well. Very retro older wood item with a lot of soul. Crocodile Skin (authentic) vintage footstool
Real crocodile skin footstool. Creamy tan crocodile skin(not embossed) covers this small footstool which may have been used as a hiding place. The seat lifts out to expose a hidden compartment with a metal bottom. The metal has a Fleur de Li emblem stamped into it. The footstool is sturdy and well made. The metal in the hidden compartment has one small hole about the size of a BB and is dark with age. The crocodile skin has come lose on two sides and one side has a chip about the size of a walnut. The skin is a thick and beautiful creamy tan color with a wonderful pattern. One leg looks as though it was repaired(see photo) but is solid. The wooden footstool has nicks and scratches from age but is sturdy and in overall good condition. The age is unknown. Measures 17" L x 9.5" W.

My last markdown! This piece will go into an antique shop soon. Gorgeous empire style burled walnut footstool w/ vintage hand stitched fabric depicting Art Deco style parrots. The colors of this fabric are amazing.blues/peaches/greens! All in great shape. 15" length by 11" wide 7" high The top sits snugly into grooves of footstool. VINTAGE Metal & Chrome TURQUOISE Stylaire Kitchen Step Stool / Footstool 1956
This lot is for a TURQUOISE metal and chrome kitchen chair with a built in footstool. Marked on the bottom: STYLAIRE, JUL 12. 1956, COLUMBUS INDIANA, MADE IN THE USA, The chair measures 12" W x 13 1/2" D x 34 1/4" H, Seat height is 24 1/2" Weighs 14 1/2 pounds prior to packaging. Condition: I found this piece in filthy condition. I spent many hours cleaning it. I did manage to get most of the paint spots off. But there are still a few! I cleaned the joints with Q-tips. I cleaned the chrome with NOXON and 0000 steel wool. The footstool/footrest lifts and pulls out nicely. There is spotting and rusting marks on the chrome. Spotting and dirt marks on the underside can still be seen. The seat and back have a vinyl material on it and it still has some tiny paint marks. The black rubber footrest also has some paint marks. The ... moreseat is overall sturdy/tight and safe to use. There are a few dents. Paint chipping in a few areas. Please review the photos- they tell the story better than I do.
