Awesome looking 49" wide ornate antique oak church pew w/ nice applied carvings
This offering is for the 49" beautiful ornate antique oak church pew pictured It has a feature that is extremely rare.ornate applied carvings on both the outside of the end panels as well as on the inside of the panels(near the top on the inside) In 12 or more years of buying and selling 400 or more antique church pews. I have never had any with applied carvings on the inside of the end panels. The pew has been shortened from its original length and is just as it was used in the church; I have gone over it with Old English to cover over scratches from the nearly 100 years of usage. It is completely authentic and is an attractive looking piece that would look great in your family room. Entry way, on your porch or patio, in a sun room, in an office or reception area, or just about anywhere seating you would like to place them. The pew ... moreis 49 inches wide at the rear of the pew. You can see that both end panels taper in slightly. Making the front of the pew slightly narrower than the back of the pew. The end panels are 38 1/2" high. When placed against the wall. The pew will extend out into the room 24" Seat height is 15 1/2" from the floor and seat depth is 15" There is a slight curvature to the benches that you can see in the pictures. There is a very nice 32 inch wide hymnal rack attached to the back side of the pew. There is also a copper visitor card or small envelope holder on the back; this is probably not original to the pew but was added at some time by the church in Williamsport. The pew has some scuffs and rubs in the finish from well over 100 years of service in the church but it is very sturdy and in nice cosmetic condition. The pew was originally much longer with a middle support piece in place.perhaps 20 feet long or more. Beautiful Antique Church Pew with cross
We bought this church pew used. It does have scratches and dents on it and I included a picture to show one. I put bees wax on the bench and it helps to bring out the golden color. There is a cross on the side and a hymn book holder on the back. It measures 47 3/4" wide x 24" deep x 34 1/4" high. It is heavy and very solid! This is a great piece of furniture.

CHURCH PEW 9'10" CURVED PRE 1957 ANTIQUE ALL ORIGINAL BEAUTIFUL!!
I have for sale an old church pew from Norwood Baptist Church. Which was located in Birmingham, Alabama. I listed it as pre 1957 because I do not know the construction date or the year this church opened, but this was my family church and my uncle was born in 1957 and went to this church since he was born. The cushion is original. And has aged very well. There are no rips or tears or staining that I know of. On the back of the pew are a bible/hymnal book holder. An offering slip/pencil holder, and small glass holders for the cups used during the Lord's Supper. There are two sets of of all of these, one on each side, still intact. The pew isn't warped. It sits good and sturdy on the floor, and the only damage other than natural wear is the center leg was two glued pieces pressed together, and it has come slightly apart. That doesn't ... moretake away from the sturdiness. I have read how to fix it. But I wanted that to be a buyer discretion issue, and not take away from its perfectly original form. Buyer will have ten business days and the middle weekend to pick the pew up from Pinson. Alabama, just north of Birmingham. That is negotiable, but not by much, I will work with the buyer a little. Estate Stunning Antique Ornate Church Bench Pew Romanesque
This is a stunning. Antique church bench with fleurettes, schrolls and arches in the Romanesque style. I believe that it is made of oak but I am not an expert on wood. This bench measures 60" long from outside of arm to outside of arm. It is 19 inches deep from front to back and it measures 36" tall at it's tallest point. The arms are each 4"wide. The bench seat is 17" off the ground and is 13 1/2" deep from front to back seat. This bench is from the estate of an avid collector of fine antiques. It is in excellent antique condition. Beautiful Wooden Church Pew Songbook Holder This appears to be made of walnut- even the wood on the backside without varnish is a beautiful dark color. However. I am no wood expert! This rack has a small split of wood missing from the bottom slat. Please see the pictures provided for a better idea of what I see. Measures a total of 29" long. Bracketts on the end measure 8" tall(at the back) and 2 3/4" wide. The area where the slats are across the front are 3 1/2" tall. The clearance where the book itself slides into the rack is 1 3/4" deep. With the 2 large outside pockets measuring 11 3/8" wide. The center pocket measures 4" wide. Still has the original square nails in the back where they were attached to the pews. I purchased this from a local church that was originaly built in 1875.
