Vintage industrial/ machine stool/ chair. this has a textured brown vinyl and is a doctor's office stool I believe. it's old(no plastic base) It has chrome legs which are worn with oxidation and scratches. A little dusty/ dirty from storage and will need a good cleaning. vinyl cover on seat is in good condition. It has no tears but does have some slight indention marks from stuff being put on top of it(might come out over time) Made by Midmark. On 5 rollers that work well. FEEL FREE TO MAKE US AN OFFER. This is a very cool vintage industrial-age swivel task chair on casters. I have totally disassembled the chair to clean. Wax and lubricate it. The chair is ready to use! It has a Great metal frame with brown leather upholstery- all original. It's a good early one! There is no maker's mark on it but I am 99% certain that it is a DoMore chair, as I have had several in the past and they looked just like this one. Looks to be 1920's or 30's vintage. Rare to find with original upholstery in such good condition. The chair is fully adjustable. The seat can be raised and lowered and the back reclines using the cool machine age knob below the seat. The padded leather back support is nicely pleated on the backside and also swivels horizontally, as well as adjusts up and down. This is just a great old industrial ... morechair and would work perfectly as a desk chair and would fit nicely in any mid-century modern, steam punk or vintage decor. I'm not sure if this was originally a factory chair, medical or doctors chair, or possibly a drafting chair. There is wear to the chair but overall it is in very good condition and has a great distressed appearance. The chair is quite heavy. Which is why the shipping charges are high. Up for auction is a vintage F.F. Koenigkramer Co. Reliance Medical Exam Chair. It has been slightly restored such as reupholstering the top back cushion. There is minor rust spots on the chair but nothing serious. There is a knob on the bottom but I'm not sure what it does. The chrome looks great with minor spots of rust. This is an original iron chair with head rest that is probably from the early 1900s. The head support was used to steady the person in the chair for long photography exposures or medical procedure? I have never seen another chair like this anywhere. I searched and none were to be found. Which makes me think that this iron chair is rare. It looks like someone began the process of stripping off the varnish but did not complete the refinishing process. It could be refinished and restored into a wonderful, mid-century find. I do not know if the cushions are original to the chair. They are very well-constructed. I believe the chair is made from oak. I am happy to post additional pictures if desired. I would keep this chair myself if I had a place for it. It has a great mid-century design and would make a statement piece in a home or office. Antique Victorian Era Dental/Medical chair. All steel and chrome with all original parts including headrest pads. Chair is fully functional. Swivel and Recline work freely. Headrest tilt is missing a small bracket that can be easily made or just left as is. Other than that the chair appears to be complete. Rust is surface rust with none of the steel rusted through. Can be used with just some light restoration or do a full restoration for a beautiful piece of history. The back reclines via foot pedals at the base. The neck rest can be adjusted via crank and arms swing out for the comfort of the patient. if such a thing was possible: I do have the provenance for this chair straight from the salvage crew that removed it from the dental office. Where it belonged to the first dentist in the Dane County( Madison) Wisconsin area. A real piece of ... morehistory. Chair has not been refurbished and is ready to use if you prefer. This is an incredible display piece and difficult to find intact. Similar fully restored chairs have sold between $1300-$2500. This can be yours for a fraction of the price and a little elbow grease.
