In addition to the ornate Victorian drape effect of oak leaves and the scrollwork feet, and the flowing/swirling Art Nouveau oak leaf and vine designs. Appears to have original pine or soft wood cover top. With is covered with the original straw– the straw covered with remnants of original jute material. Paint has chipped off in spots, adding to the character and age of the piece. The top is a beautiful needlepoint pastoral scene of girl on a bench next to a pitcher with a cherub; background is deep red orange. It may be the original, partial original, or a replacement cover. If original or partially original, it is in stunningly mint condition. If a replacement, it looks very authentic to the piece. This is a nice condition Vintage Piano Organ Stool Chair. Has the eagle Claw and Ball feet. This was my grandmas. I'm no furniture expert on age. But from what I've seen I would say it is sometime between 1870-1900. Chair is in great condition. These stools with the backs are very rare. My uncle who is in the furniture making business repaired the top back of chair. You cannot tell except for the screws he used. Back of chair is 36 1/4 inches high. It looks like the seat cover has been professionally recovered, there are some cracks here and there, the bottom of the seat is separated at the factory seam- just needs clamped and glued. The cast iron is a bit rough and could be sand blasted to smooth it, but that is your preference. The seat is adjustable, one it is raised it gets a bit wobbly, but at the bottom it is nice and sturdy. It measures 19" at the lowest point and raises from there, the base of the feet is 15" wide, the seat is 13 3/4" wide. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks.

I have for auction an estate find. This is a Victorian Footstool. Often called a slipper stool. The legs are cast iron, with an ornate design. The legs are attached to a wooden frame that has been covered with horsehair, a batting and then the leather piece. From the underside their are 8 wooden balls that have been attached with nails. The leather has been tacked and nailed on the side of the board and then the legs were screwed to the top. The approximate dimensions are 11 1/2" long& 8 3/4" wide. The legs are almost 5" tall and with the cushion on the stool 6" high. I did not see any breaks or repairs in the cast iron. Antique Victorian Piano or Organ Stool I believe it is maple wood. But not sure. The top has been replaced, it is just plywood and a pink velvet fringed cover. The top is loose on the mounting plate, just needs screws. It doesn't swivel right now, but can probably be adjusted or repaired. The seat mounting plate is marked Tonk Chicago and New York. Antique Victorian Adjustable Piano Organ Stool Glass Eagle Claw Feet Vintage
This a beautiful piano/organ adjustable seat stool. Victorian in style with lots of ornate scroll work on the legs. Stem and horizontal supports. The seat is worn in with most of the nice grain showing through what was once a black seat. The seat is thick and wide(no cracks) with a 14 inch diameter. Its adjustable from a low seat of 18 inches off the floor to a high of 24 inches. This stool is very stable with the eagle claw glass feet a wide 15 inches square. The seat has a gorgeous leaf scrolling all around the perimeter, but its pretty worn and you have to look close to see the intricate detail. The feet are awesome with a full 3 inches of feather pattern in brass rising up from each claw. Age estimated to be around 1900. A very nice useable antique piece!

The old red velvet is badly worn and disintegrating along with the bottom cover. This would not be that difficult to replace. The bottom wood insert is attached with 3 screws, one of those screws does not want to go in the whole way, but this wood piece is secure. The brass could use some polish. The glass bead work seems to be in nice condition, there may be a missing bead or two, but nothing that jumps out!

I bought it at an antique store for $200 a few years ago& the condition hasn't changed really. It does however shows signs of wear(shown in photos) I don't sit in it. Gorgeous. Antique Victorian piano stool. Green background needlepoint seat with ivory Calla lilies and red Camellias. Square seat with rounded edges and concave sides. Brass tack trim. Turned wood stem and three cast iron legs. Needlepoint is in wonderful condition! The one boo boo is beneath the seat.there's is a spilt in the wood base of the seat. This has no effect when using. Easy to repair with an additional brace, though not necessary. Measurements: 20" height 4" height of seat alone 13" square seat

Antique Vintage Piano Stool Shabby Victorian Style Cast Iron Tripod Leg Swivel
Selling this vintage piano stool- spins and adjusts height. Made of wood with cast iron feet. Item has been stripped and is a clean slate for your restoration ideas. Please see the photos for condition- small splits in the wood stem. Discoloration spots on seat, oxidation on metal, etc. Measures about 21 inches high at its lowest- top is about 12 7/8" wide. I am not sure if the height adjuster is working properly- it seems to have a limited range but I don't know if that's normal. Please have a look at all the photos- this is a very cute stool which will make a nice restoration project.
