I believe that the seat had fabric covering it at one time as there are small holes all over it. Possibly from staples? This fine piece would look great as a plant stand or even as a stool. It has mounting holes in the cast iron base for mounting it permenantly to a floor or just leave it attched to the existing piece of wood. The stool may be disassembled for shipment. The height is not adjustable. Get creative! Approximate Measurements The stool measures 19 1/2" tall and 21" tall including the base board. It has an approximate 6 1/2" diameter base. It was originally RED on the top, you can still see the original color through the corrosion and rust. In all its natural glory. This awesome authentic dairy barn milking stool makes a great decor piece or photography studio or theater production prop. Sits fine and is still usable and stable. Measures 12" high. Seat is round, 9" circumference. Smaller circle with 1-1/2" star cut out is 4" around in circumference. Finish is rusty with some corrosion. Hardware appears all original. Top of seat is not completely level and straight, it has conformed a little from years of use and has slight bends present on seat, see all photos. Appears to be an all original. Primitive antique foot stool wooden bench 2 layers of vintage textile cover
Cutest little footstool! All wood with chippy paint and a cloth-covered top with two layers of textiles that appear to be original. The seat pad is detached. See the pictures for the best description of the fabric- its a dusty rose color with a woven floral pattern, feels like a cotton texture and there are no rips but it shows its age. There is another layer of fabric underneath this covering but I did not remove the top cover to investigate. Both textiles are held in place with small tacks and are intact enough to clean up or add your own layer of history- perhaps a needlepoint. No weird/bad smell. Dimensions are 14" long by 10" wide by 7" tall at the frame plus about 3/4" for the pad. The joints and nails are in good condition but I would not plan to use this as a step stool(unless by a child) I did not find any splits ... moreor cracks in the wood frame and all of the nail heads look alike(a little rusty) so no signs of modern repairs. Just an adorable little ole thing! Very charming and functional; picture this holding your stack of books next to a favorite reading chair. Great primitive decorator piece! Thanks for looking! Up for sale is a Original Handmade. Wood Milking Stool. We acquired from an Old North Carolina Farmhouse Estate. Own a piece of Early Americana Farm History! It is perfect for displaying in a Primitive Country Style Farmhouse Home. This old. Well used stool weighs 7 lbs. and measures 13" Tall x 16" wide at it's widest point of the legs x 13" in depth. The seat measures 14 3/4" wide x 13" deep. The seat is constructed out of pine and the frame and legs are a hardwood that we can't determine what type of wood it is. The stool is still sturdy but one of the legs is shorter than the others causing it to wobble, you can trim off the bottom of the legs if you want to level it back up. It has the original green paint that is reminiscent of the 1950's and 60's green paint underneath a coat ... moreof antique white paint. We didn't clean the stool at all because we didn't want to change the original condition that we found it in. It would need a good and careful cleaning(if you want to) As it is a little dirty from all the years it was used and from being in the barn. Vintage Wood Wooden Birthing Stool Chair Primitive 3 Legs w Back Free Shipping
Vintage. Birthing stool. We found it at an estate sale in San Diego, California but don't know it's origins. Made completely out of wood with the exception of a metal plate with 2 screws that hold the back and seat together. I think the plate may have been a modern addition on an antique stool that originally was held together only by pegs(second photo from the end) The 3 legs are threaded and screw into the seat. The top of the back and both sides of the seat have a clover design cut-out of the wood. The cut-outs are handles to hold and pull against during labor. As it stands it measures 28" tall by 20" wide by 17" deep and weighs 7 1/2 pounds. Stool will be disassembled for shipping. You will need a screw driver to re-attach the metal plate but the legs are hand-screw. Condition: There is a wooden patch in the seat(last ... morephoto) Some wear on the varnish. Good. Vintage Square Top Primitive Wood Handmade Rustic Small Stool
This is a very rustic small stool with a square top. Clearly handmade. It is nothing but wood and nails. I have no clue of its age or origin. I am also listing a smaller round top stool in the same primitive fashion. They came together. This stool measures 12 1/8th inches tall. 5 9/16th inches wide at the top and 3/8th inches wide at the base. It has a square 3/4 inch thick top with 4 peg joints where the legs are attached. It has 2 rungs down each side. The legs are 3/4 inch wide and the rungs are 3/8th inch wide. There is a slightly filled nail hole on each side where the rungs are. The top appears to have some lighter wood showing thru so appears to be a lighter stained wood. This stool and the other I am selling have residue underneath which appears as if a sticker of some kind had been there at one point. Vintage Primitive Wood Cow Milking Stool Red Paint
Up for auction. Up for auction is a wonderful primitive milking stool with nice old red paint. Stool measures 9" long. 5" deep, and stands 6" tall. As you can see in the photos, the legs are joined with a peg-type construction. One leg does appear to have some damage. See photo 5. It appears a piece of wood is missing. However, this does not distract from the overall look or stability of the piece. If you have any questions, please let me know.

This is a well used Windsor style foot stool. Home made? date unknown. Turned legs, worn black paint with an asymmetric top. Review photos, you will see that the front and back stretchers and legs are different. It measures approximately 9 12" h x 16 1/2" l x 9 12" deep. Good weight at 5+ lbs.
