Primitive antique foot stool wooden bench 2 layers of vintage textile cover
Cutest little footstool! All wood with chippy paint and a cloth-covered top with two layers of textiles that appear to be original. The seat pad is detached. See the pictures for the best description of the fabric- its a dusty rose color with a woven floral pattern, feels like a cotton texture and there are no rips but it shows its age. There is another layer of fabric underneath this covering but I did not remove the top cover to investigate. Both textiles are held in place with small tacks and are intact enough to clean up or add your own layer of history- perhaps a needlepoint. No weird/bad smell. Dimensions are 14" long by 10" wide by 7" tall at the frame plus about 3/4" for the pad. The joints and nails are in good condition but I would not plan to use this as a step stool(unless by a child) I did not find any splits ... moreor cracks in the wood frame and all of the nail heads look alike(a little rusty) so no signs of modern repairs. Just an adorable little ole thing! Very charming and functional; picture this holding your stack of books next to a favorite reading chair. Great primitive decorator piece! Antique Camel Saddle Foot Stool Ottoman with Camel Head
Camel Saddle Stool. Ottoman or Chair. Antique/ Vintage Piece of Furniture. I am not sure how old. Mid- Century? This is a nice piece with the camel head carved with painted to look like a harness and has a leather tassel around the neck some of the tassels are gone. The cushion has been used but for its age looks well but has a solid condition or could be recovered, or leave for the vintage look. The flat board and leather keeping it together is in good condition please look at the photos. Measurements Approximate: 24" from camel head to end of tail and 12" wide by 21 tall at the tallest point. The leather circles are in tact where saddle sits. the stool will be shipped assembled because it is nailed and roped together. Please email if any further questions.

This auction is for a very nice old foot stool or something used to step up onto a high bed. The piece looks old. And the cushion is held by slotted screws. There appears to be no damage. We feel the wood stool has its original un-restored finish. It measures 16 5/8 inches long, 9 ½ inches wide and 7 inches to the top of the cushion, 9 inches tall total. The red velvety cushion cover is faded and may have been replaced at some point. A nice addition to any like furniture collection. It really needs a restoration because the cushion is decaying so someone has taped papers on the bottom to keep it from making a mess. A Victorian-Primitive. That's what we'll call it. The stool appears to be made from a plank with 4 boards nailed to it to add thickness. It is approximately 12" high and the top is approximately 12" by 12" Under the outer flowered cover is a quilted cotton partial pad. Then a black, shiny/slick pad, and then, at one corner and along the edges, you can see underneath the black pad some brownish sort of like straw( stuff. 2. This stool has an oval top that is approximately 15" long and 9" at the widest part. From ground level to top of stool. It is approximately 7 1/4" high. There is some kind of material(padding? under the cover that is light brown-I think you can see it in the picture. 3. A nice antique wood slab 3-leg stool. The seat roughly 10" in diameter by 11"tall and a 1 1/2" rough cut sawn slab. Stands about 11 inches tall. Legs look to be hand shaved. Nice overall with some wear, no apparent damage, legs have a slight wiggle. Top has a minor split but is very solid. Look at pics and ask questions. Just minor ware for the age. dings and scratches just adds to the look.

Antique Victorian Fancy Ornate Cast Iron Base Footstool. The castings are very beautiful and quite ornate. The stool measures approx 14" square on the base. Approx 12" square on the top. The upholstery is older. I do not think it is the original but its older. It can easily be reupholstered to your liking if you wish. But not necessary. OLDER WOOD FOOT STOOL looks to be craftsman made based on the construction. I would guess produced prior to 1950 the color has a deep patina there is a lot of wear from use present as well. Some minor cracking as well from the wood drying out over the decades. Sadly the top wood was removed and replaced with a piece modern wood this is recent as well as the fabric shown. Wonderful small stool that can be easily restored. This piece would pop with a piece of older leather instead of the fabric shown. Neat item that would fit in a variety of older decors.
