One metal leg is slightly wiggly, the flathead screw needing to be tightened. The metal has a nice patina, and the glass balls are in good, crack free condition, but dusty/dirty with normal use scratches at bottoms. The wooden base is in good condition, again, dusty/dirty. At the top is a 4" diameter, rusty hardware piece for attaching the seat, with three screws, one is missing as there should be 4. ITEM: Vintage Chas Parker adjustable wooden piano stool. Approx. Measurements: Height: 19" 23" adjustable height. Diameter: 14" CONDITION: The seat portion appear to be assembled with multiple pieces of glued wood. 3 pieces of wood have became unglued& re-glued back into place. You can see small gaps on the side of the seat part. Where it had came unglued& re-glued. Another pieces of wood on base had came unglued& re-glued. The veneers on top& underneath the stool seat are cracked. Dried out& falling off easily. The seat portion wiggles throughout seat adjustment& even when it is screwed in all the way. The claws are not that firmly attached to the stool feet. It has a little wiggle to it. Small nicks& chips on bottom of glass balls. But that is probably to be expected. Up for auction is a antique HD Bentley piano stool. The fabric is a Burgundy color with a flower design. No rips or tears. The base of the chair is wooden but the paint worn off of it. It does have heavy metal cast iron"feet" The stool is marked H.D. Bentley. It measures 20" tall. 13" x 13" on the seat. It does have a little trouble swiveling around but may just need oiled up. The seat and turned center carved and highly decorated column is solid walnut with very rare thick elaborate cast iron base legs ornately adorned with ornamental embellishments painted black and trimmed with gold. The top surface is solid walnut. Beautifully age distressed and also ornately painted in Hitchcock style design with gold accents. There are many potential uses in any décor. This is a beautiful maple and steel 3 legged swivel piano stool. With 1 leg not attached. It looks as though the screw hole(s) might be stripped for that leg. The legs goes perfectly back in place and I believe the holes could be filled and re drilled to make it perfect. It has a gorgeous honey colored maple stem with nice lines. The tufted fabric seat is comfortable and a rich gold in color. The legs are ornate and a glossy black in color. The stool stands 21 inches high from the floor and the seat is 14 inches in diameter with some cushion, has rounded edges and is really quaint. The seat is adjustable from a low of 20 inches to a high of approx 24"
