DESCRIPTION: You are bidding on a Primitive Hand Carved Antique Wooden Birthing Chair. It was purchased from an Estate Sale and is believed to be from the early 1800's. The wood appears to be handcarved and is very thick. There are clover designs on the top and on both of the side handles. It is in good condition for it's age with some expected marks. Dents, cracks in wood, and a slight curve to the wood at the top, but it does have a beautiful patena, see photos. The chair stands 28" tall, is 19 1/4" wide and 14" deep. I have removed the legs for shipping, see photos. The legs have some blue tape around them to indicate where they should be placed if you were standing in front of the chair. Up for auction is this simply lovely solid wood and needlepoint style woven fabric foot stool from an estate sale. Stool measures 17" long and 13 1/2" wide. Stands 10" high. Lovely curve to the legs and beautiful wood grain. I do not know different types of wood so I am not sure what type it is. This piece is in absolutely excellent vintage condition and doesn't look like it was used much at all. There is only one tiny nick on one side the size of a flea. You are looking at a heavy duty solid wood antique work bench. This item has two vises on it. One at each end of the table top. The top is detachable, it also has a tray at the back of it. This work bench has a total of 4 large drawers, and 3 smaller top drawers. It has room for four, but one is missing. The 3 top drawers do so their age and use, they have some warping of wood. Shown in 9th photo. Also one of the bottom drawers has slight water damage on the bottom of it, but still fuctional drawer. This item measures(base) 5 feet x 26" w x 33 1/4" tall/with table top. It appears that at some point through the years additional support was added(brackets underneath) for stability. This stool is very sturdy& stable. The age is unknown. But you can see in the close-up photo the"worm holes" in the wood. This was common back in the day as materials were scarce and nothing was wasted. While some would consider these marks as blemishes. Here's a very cute solid wood footstool with a cut out in the center for a handle. It stands a little over 9" high and it is 7 1/2" x 14" across the top. There is a marking on the underside bottom to tell you what it is made from which seems to be from ship's-boat wood. It is dated with 1969. It is marked with"SS Steel King" on the bottom along with other writing which is that it is made from"ships Donnage" and what we assume to be the person's name who made this.
