I am a big fan of this style) also sort of victorian gothic inspired The trim used around the cushion is a trim that is modeled after the trims used in this era. Looks also identical actually! The trim is accented with upholestry tacks, helps to give it a very finished feel The stool is adjustable. This function works very well(not wobbly like some I have come across, the legs are also quite sturdy, don't wiggle and rock, etc) The stool is in excellent condition. Very beautiful piece, although re-finished, it was attempted to be re-finished closely to what it would have, or could have looked like when first produced it is a standard piano stool size about 20in tall(but will adjust about 5 or so inches taller) The seat and base are approx 15in(seat is 15in x 15in) Thanks and ask any questions!

This classic victorian style piano stool is very pretty. And would make a great restoration project. The bottom frame is composed of cast iron. It is beautifully engraved and features three gorgeous twisted legs that add volumes to the overall style. The seat portion appears to be made of pine. It looks as if it was just the base that a padded cushion or covering was glued to. You can see some of the left over residue from this in the pictures. The cast iron portion is in great shape, with no dents, dings or bends whatsoever. The part that adjust spins up and down quite smoothly. There is light surface rust in a few places that should be very easy to remove. It is around 18" tall, and the legs are 18" apart at there widest points. This is a very nice piece! PLEASE TAKE TIME TO REVIEW THE ADD AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!

Antique Charles Parker Co., Meridian CT Piano Stool
Antique piano stool in walnut manufatured by Charles Parker& Company. Meriden. CT. This stool is in excellent condition with glass balls in the claws. There are what appears to be small flecks of white paint on the seat. The seat swivels to adjust height. It is 14 1/4" wide, 19 1/2" tall& a foot at the claws. We are unsure if this has been refinished but it may very well be. Strong& sturdy. Comes from a smoke free home. Not sure of the date of manufacture but here is some history of the company: Charles Parker and his younger brother. Opened their first manufacturing factory in Meriden in 1832. Over the years they manufactured a wide variety of productss from steam engines, train wheels and printing presses to piano stools. During the Civil War, Parker's Meriden Machine Company was under Union contract to produce ... more10,000 repeating rifles and 15,000 Springfield rifles. Parker began producing his own shotgun, referred to as The Gun of 1866âe. Shabby chic style old piano stool. This piece was very heavily painted. Some cracks in the paint, nicks and scratches which gives it that great shabby chic look. Covered cushions tops in a dark purple shade, some stains but no rips or stains noted. Bottom round piece also is heavy with dust. It swivels great. The glass feet have been painted over, but as you can see in the picture they are the glass balled feet, the leg bottom appear to be some type of metal(painted over) and the rest wood. I picked this beautiful old Barley Twist chair up at the estate sale of an old lady who happened to also be a longtime piano and organ teacher. It's a splendid little piece with claw foot ball feet that we originally bought for our children but cannot keep. I'm honestly not sure on much else though as it has no visible markings(maybe I'm looking in wrong places) and my research hasn't yielded much-which has been quite vigorous! All I know is pretty much what I've described above and that it is solid wood. Stands at about 15" tall and is 9" wide in diameter(non-adjustable seat is 2" thick) making it much smaller than all other piano and organ stools leading me to also believe that it was originally made for little children-and that's what the estate sale professional said which also goes hand in hand ... morewith the ladies occupation.but who knows? I do weigh about 190 lbs however and can sit on it with no problem whatsoever, so this thing is definitely strong and sturdy! Anyhow. The bottom part is a cast iron bronze base with a face sitting on a clear ball. The clear ball part seems to be a heavy duty plastic, but looks like its glass. Standing up it measures approximately 17 inches high. It is made of solid wood and metal. I am told that the wood is mahogany. But am not completely sure of this. If you know how to determine this, just contact me to clarify. The structure of the stool is in good shape. It does seem to be very sturdy. And structurally secure. The 4 feet are metal and resemble a bird or dragon's foot holding a crystal or glass ball. They are all in good shape and would clean up nicely. Diameter: 14" CONDITION: The seat portion appear to be assembled with multiple pieces of glued wood. 3 pieces of wood have became unglued& re-glued back into place. You can see small gaps on the side of the seat part. Where it had came unglued& re-glued. Another pieces of wood on base had came unglued& re-glued. The veneers on top& underneath the stool seat are cracked. Dried out& falling off easily. The seat portion wiggles throughout seat adjustment& even when it is screwed in all the way. Neat Older Primative Style Oak Piano Organ Vanity Bench Stool Seat From England
This auction is for an older Solid Oak Bench or Stool from England. I do not know if this was home made or shop made. It's quite unusual but it is well made and very studry. I thought at first, it may have been an end stable at one time in it's life, but I am not sure. It has a real Arts& Craft era look to it, but it also has a primative look to it also. It could be used as an Piano or Organ Bench. It has pretty tapered legs and stretcher on the legs and a"wavy cut" to the apron under the seat on all four sides. It's been around for quite a while and has years& years of good service still in it. It is 18 1/2" wide. 14" deep and it's about 20 1/2" tall overall. Please keep in mind that this is an older bench and not a reproduction. It has some dings and scratches and blemishes to the finish ... moreon the legs& body/frame. Antique Victorian A. Merri Adjustable Seat Piano Organ Stool Chair Claw & Ball
This is an Outstanding Vintage Antique Victorian Adjustable Seat Piano Organ Chair Stool Bench. The legs have beautiful eagle claw talon glass feet. There is lots of detail throughout. The chair has an adjustable seat the spins to make it go up and down. I am not sure if this is normal. But there is a slight wobble to the seat- probably a thin piece of cardboard inserted by the pin would tighten it. The piece is rare and gorgeous. It is available for local pick up in the Bedminster, NJ area. Vintage Antique Victorian Piano Organ Stool Chair- Eagle Claw and Ball Feet
This is a nice condition Vintage Piano Organ Stool Chair. Has the eagle Claw and Ball feet. This was my grandmas. I'm no furniture expert on age. But from what I've seen I would say it is sometime between 1870-1900. Chair is in great condition. These stools with the backs are very rare. My uncle who is in the furniture making business repaired the top back of chair. You cannot tell except for the screws he used. Back of chair is 36 1/4 inches high. Stool seat turns round and raises and lowers just the way it's suppose to. Feel free to ask me any questions you might have. Right now I cannot find a box so I am going to have to list it pick up only. I would be willing to deliver up to 80 miles one way after payment has been made.

Vintage HD Bentley Wooden Piano Swivel Stool Bench w/ metal legs
Up for auction is a antique HD Bentley piano stool. The fabric is a Burgundy color with a flower design. No rips or tears. The base of the chair is wooden but the paint worn off of it. It does have heavy metal cast iron"feet" The stool is marked H.D. Bentley. It measures 20" tall. 13" x 13" on the seat. It does have a little trouble swiveling around but may just need oiled up.
