This classic victorian style piano stool is very pretty. And would make a great restoration project. The bottom frame is composed of cast iron. It is beautifully engraved and features three gorgeous twisted legs that add volumes to the overall style. The seat portion appears to be made of pine. It looks as if it was just the base that a padded cushion or covering was glued to. You can see some of the left over residue from this in the pictures. The cast iron portion is in great shape, with no dents, dings or bends whatsoever. The part that adjust spins up and down quite smoothly. There is light surface rust in a few places that should be very easy to remove. It is around 18" tall, and the legs are 18" apart at there widest points. This is a very nice piece! They measure 25in. high with the seats on and the bottom is 24 in. tall without the seat that fits down in the hole. The base is 7 in. square and the seat is about 11 1/2in. wide. Beautiful. Victorian era, small, round lady's antique cast iron and wood footstool. The three cast iron legs and the edge of the solid wood base have been painted an egg-shell white/cream. Paint has chipped off in spots, adding to the character and age of the piece. The top is a beautiful needlepoint pastoral scene of girl on a bench next to a pitcher with a cherub; background is deep red orange. It may be the original, partial original, or a replacement cover. If original or partially original, it is in stunningly mint condition. If a replacement, it looks very authentic to the piece. There are nine decorative"balls" nailed into the bottom of the stool, three between each set of legs. One of them is missing on one side. The footstool measures 10" in diameter and 7" high. Early, antique/ vintage, industrial style, machinist/ drafting stool in ready to add to your industrial style decor. This great stool is in very good, sturdy, structurally sound ready to use condition. This has come out of my own personal collection of vintage industrial style decor. When originally purchased I had every intention of refinishing this to its original natural wood finish, but with time I learned to love and appreciate the beauty of its as found condition with years of paint drips, scuffs, scrapes and old aged patina. So rather than refinishing I gave it a good cleaning and a coat of ployurethane to preserve its well aged beauty. Stool is constructed of what I believe to be solid oak with a bent wood foot rest. Antique Industrial Piano Stool Steampunk Wood and Ornate Cast Iron Victorian
Up for auction is an Antique Industrial Stool. Made of wood and cast iron. It looks to be pre 1900, but I can't say for sure. It is in good condition and has the PERFECT patina. The center section is all wood and has 3 cast iron legs, the seat has the original wood. It looks like the seat cover has been professionally recovered, there are some cracks here and there, the bottom of the seat is separated at the factory seam- just needs clamped and glued. The cast iron is a bit rough and could be sand blasted to smooth it, but that is your preference. The seat is adjustable, one it is raised it gets a bit wobbly, but at the bottom it is nice and sturdy. It measures 19" at the lowest point and raises from there, the base of the feet is 15" wide, the seat is 13 3/4" wide. If you have any questions please ask. Thanks.

Turned wood stem and three cast iron legs. Needlepoint is in wonderful condition! The one boo boo is beneath the seat.there's is a spilt in the wood base of the seat. This has no effect when using. Easy to repair with an additional brace, though not necessary. Measurements: 20" height 4" height of seat alone 13" square seat
