Your looking at a vintage old stool found in grandparents attic with some old traps and bible from 1835. Need new paint and legs could use glueing but works great and holds at least my weight of 103lbs. I was told it was from Kutztown Pa. where all the amish are. Thats about all I know. I also have a metal step stool listed that I never seen one like it.

Cutest little footstool! All wood with chippy paint and a cloth-covered top with two layers of textiles that appear to be original. The seat pad is detached. See the pictures for the best description of the fabric- its a dusty rose color with a woven floral pattern, feels like a cotton texture and there are no rips but it shows its age. There is another layer of fabric underneath this covering but I did not remove the top cover to investigate. Antique Victorian Velvet Upholstered Cast Iron Vanity Bench Foot Stool Ottoman
This is an antique cast iron bench with dark forest green velvet upholstery. It has been reupholstered at some point and the fabric is in very good condition. Looks clean, does not have any tears or holes, the tacks that attach the fabric to the wooden seat are all intact and in good condition, and the trim is tightly woven with little to no obvious wear. The seat is heavy solid wood that seems sturdy. There are some age-related cracks in it that don't seem to weaken the seat at all. The cast iron legs are firmly attached with screws, and they are in very good condition with some minor scuffing and wear to the gold finish. Nothing is broken or missing. The bench seems a little high to be used as an ottoman. But I've seen others list it as one and that's what the antique dealer who found this thought it was. I think it would be ... morebetter suited as a bench, but might be used as an ottoman for a taller person. It measures 24" L x 11 1/2" W x 17" H. Vintage Shabby Needlepoint Cross Stitch Top Foot Stool Bench Ottoman Floral
This is a lovely vintage or antique footstool which I believe is carved mahogany wood that was painted white. And"shabbied" up a bit. The needlepoint is finely done, with only a couple of spots of light wear(I had it covered for years) and what looks like a small spot of navy paint on the side(see picture four) and one of the white flowers looks like it has a little white paint smudged on it. The needlepoint is nailed on with many small, round brass nails, so I think it is an older piece. It measures 20" by 12" and 15" in height. Great for a rustic. Shabby, cottage, or farmhouse decor! Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE This is a really great example of beautifully hand-crafted furniture. The attractive curved 4-leg configuration is very stable and still in excellent shape. It was obviously designed to stand up to a heavy workload. But the stool has seen its share of use over the years. There are small saw marks in a couple places on the seat edge. The seat has apparently come loose at some time in the past and been reattached with L-brackets. Although this may not be original, it is very sturdy. The foot ring does have a split in it. These things can be observed in the photos. The chair could be restored by a skilled woodworker. Approximately 28” tall x 15” square. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions.
