It is a wonderful piece as it is carved on 3 sides and even has the original tools mounted inside. ... moreThere is a metal shoe frame mounted in the box so the customer could set their shoe on it for polishing. There is also a really neat measuring tool of some sort mounted in the box. This opens and closes by turning a key style handle. Also included is a shoe brush with bristles at one end and a pick on the back side of the brush. All the tools are in great condition. What I love about this piece is that it is a perfect size to use as a stool and display. It also is practical as it has a drawer in which you can store things in. The vintage fabric on top of the stool is sound and looks good. There is a crack in the wood on the uncarved side of the stool. The drawer knob has some of the edges worn/broken off but is sound. The hinges are in nice shape and there is even a lid stop/support. This is a wonderful piece of history and yet a practical piece to own. It stands about 16-1/4” tall. The stool top is about 14-1/2” by 12-7/8” I am not sure of the age but am guessing 1800’s. This is a rare find indeed of a handcrafted shoe store sizing bench measuring 27" from tip to tip. 10" across, by 13 3/4" high. The front section measures 11" and the decorative sides measure 12" across. This features what I believe to be burl wood and is in excellent condition from a smoke free home. Someone has regretfully used this as a coffee side table as evidenced by the rings on the top. This will be professionally packaged for you.

It is a very solid piece with a nice heavy thick top. I don't know for sure what type of wood this is made from. It has a nice bold wood grain. The stool is in good condition for it's age with no breaks or repairs. It measures 16 inches tall and the top has an approximate diameter of 13 inches. I don't know the exact age of this piece but I do believe it is European in origin as I purchased it with a load of antiques from England and Belgium. You are looking at a heavy duty solid wood antique work bench. This item has two vises on it. One at each end of the table top. The top is detachable, it also has a tray at the back of it. This work bench has a total of 4 large drawers, and 3 smaller top drawers. It has room for four, but one is missing. The 3 top drawers do so their age and use, they have some warping of wood. Beautiful small vintage upholstered wood stool/bench. Stool has curved legs. Dowel on either side. Newly upholstered seat, done in a pink velvet with a raised floral pattern. Seat is removable, making it easy to clean and re-upholster. Stool is approx. 14 1/4 inches high, 20 inches long, 11 inches wide. This is a beautiful old hand crafted item. Primitive/Antique Milking Stool- Farm Bench-Stand/Seat --Wood -Unpainted
The stories this old bench could tell. Hand made from what I believe was one board cut into three pieces. Measures 24 inches in length. 11 inches in width and 12 inches in height. Study pictures closely, built for work and is still functional. After all these years it deserves decor status or used as a stand for crocks or other special antiques. Unpainted with several paint spots on surface. Patina and rounded edges show a lot of age to this piece. Please note the roughness of the corners, etc. We refund any postage overage you pay.
