I believe that the seat had fabric covering it at one time as there are small holes all over it. Possibly from staples? This fine piece would look great as a plant stand or even as a stool. It has mounting holes in the cast iron base for mounting it permenantly to a floor or just leave it attched to the existing piece of wood. The stool may be disassembled for shipment. The height is not adjustable. Get creative! Approximate Measurements The stool measures 19 1/2" tall and 21" tall including the base board. It has an approximate 6 1/2" diameter base. The seat of the stool has a 12" diameter. Markings None Condition Very good condition for its age. There is some minor to moderate scratches in the paint on the pedestal and base. For sale we have a very unique small tree branch and reclaimed wood stool that measures 12 inches by 11 inches on top and is 10 1/4 inches high. This definitely was handmade. As you can see a lot of detail went into it with the twisted wire. Brass rivets and bent twigs. The seat is slightly padded and fabric covered. One of the decorative branches split and there's a blueish mark on top. I didn't notice it at first and honestly I still don't know if it's the fabric or something that got on the fabric. It's shown in the 2nd to last picture. Any questions please just ask. We ship within 24 hours unless it's the weekend. Vintage/Antique Wood Primitive/Rustic Step Stool~No Nails ~Décor~Photo Prop
You are bidding on an old stool that I bought in Santa Fe. New Mexico at an antique shop. I do not know any other history than that I bought it there about 10 years ago. The stool is made from wood and is constructed with no nails. It looks like it was painted at one time or possibly it was made from repurposed wood that had been painted at one time. Please refer to photos. The top of the stool measures 5 ½” by 11 ½” The legs flare out to about 7” at the bottom. It is 8 ¼” tall. The seat is about 1 ½” thick. It is very level. But has a bit of a wobble due to the joins being a bit worn. But you can sit on it with confidence. We used it in our décor as shelf to sit a basket on. Vintage Wood Wooden Birthing Stool Chair Primitive 3 Legs w Back Free Shipping
Vintage. Birthing stool. We found it at an estate sale in San Diego, California but don't know it's origins. Made completely out of wood with the exception of a metal plate with 2 screws that hold the back and seat together. I think the plate may have been a modern addition on an antique stool that originally was held together only by pegs(second photo from the end) The 3 legs are threaded and screw into the seat. The top of the back and both sides of the seat have a clover design cut-out of the wood. The cut-outs are handles to hold and pull against during labor. As it stands it measures 28" tall by 20" wide by 17" deep and weighs 7 1/2 pounds. Stool will be disassembled for shipping. Vintage Square Top Primitive Wood Handmade Rustic Small Stool
This is a very rustic small stool with a square top. Clearly handmade. It is nothing but wood and nails. I have no clue of its age or origin. I am also listing a smaller round top stool in the same primitive fashion. They came together. This stool measures 12 1/8th inches tall. 5 9/16th inches wide at the top and 3/8th inches wide at the base. It has a square 3/4 inch thick top with 4 peg joints where the legs are attached. It has 2 rungs down each side. The legs are 3/4 inch wide and the rungs are 3/8th inch wide. There is a slightly filled nail hole on each side where the rungs are. The top appears to have some lighter wood showing thru so appears to be a lighter stained wood. This stool and the other I am selling have residue underneath which appears as if a sticker of some kind had been there at one point. Vintage Primitive Wood Cow Milking Stool Red Paint
Up for auction. Up for auction is a wonderful primitive milking stool with nice old red paint. Stool measures 9" long. 5" deep, and stands 6" tall. As you can see in the photos, the legs are joined with a peg-type construction. One leg does appear to have some damage. See photo 5. It appears a piece of wood is missing. Offered at auction is this marvelous old mission/primitive style foot/seat stool with wooden legs and dowels and woven rope- poss. hemp or jute- or other similar. Wood supports vary between approx. 11 1/4" and 12" tall(may have been replaced at some point) and body of stool is approx. 10 1/2" x 13" Weighs over 3 lb. No maker's or other identifying marks seen. Unsure of type of wood or exact age. But I have had this for many years. Time to sell some items! NOT NEW/NOT PERFECT. Pls. refer to condition description above. Still a wonderful old.
