Rare old dragon head sconce & quezal pulled feather glass shade
outstanding heavy cast brass single socket with updated wiring. 2 1/4" quezal pulled feather and marked on the rim. The shade has no chips or cracks. Ready to mount to the wall. Listed is an antique(1913) BRYANT ceiling light fixture. This fixture is marked with the name BRYANT. It is also marked with 4 dates. 1908, 1910,1911 and 1913. The porcelain socket is also marked BRYANT. The fixture is 7 1/2" tall including the socket. The shade is 5 1/2" tall and has a 2" fitter opening and a 4" mouth opening. The shade has a deco design. There is a very tiny chip on the mouth opening of the shade. The fixture has a spring release wire to hold the shade in place. I believe this is a married couple from the very beginning. Both the shade and fixture appear to be original.

Here is what I know and can see… Estate auction find…this was hanging in the attic cedar closet. Reportedly working when removed…I did not test it…I recommend rewiring for safety reasons and concerns. NO chips or cracks in either the milk glass or“crystal” glass…I use a flashlight and magnifying glass…not the Hubble telescope. Original canopies…pull string switch(clicks when pulled)ceramic light socket. Shows wear on the metal ring that joins the clear to the milk glass. The canopies are paint splattered and need cleaning. Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. This is a wonderful old pair of antique Arts and Crafts Gothic gilt forged iron and brass foliate wall sconces. They probably date from the teens or 1920s. This is a really incredible pair of sconces. The detail and finish is wonderful. I found a pair with a very similar feeling online that were marked E. F. Caldwell. But these unfortunately aren't marked. If you Google Caldwell foliate sconces you will find a similar pair(though I must say not nearly as nice! for sale at $4900. I don't know how heavily they were colored when originally made. But the current color/patina is truly superb. The finish has not been touched. They have the original wiring. Which MUST be changed! The acorn at the end of the glass is cast aluminum. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. One very tiny chip on the globe edge that goes into the fixture, hardly noticeable. Some surface rust on the metal, paint worn/faded. Globe has scuffs and marks. Looks like a new socket has been put into it. Has the original screws that hold the globe on. It measures 12" long. Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. AWESOME ANTIQUE VICTORIAN LIGHT SCONCE W/ LARGE SPEAR TIP CRYSTAL LUSTRES
Awesome antique victorian light sconce 1920s* This beautiful light sconce is made mostly of heavy brass with 6 large 5" spear tip crystal lustres. These are old and original. The sconce extends 9 inches from the wall when mounted. The wall plate is 5 inches wide. The wall plate has the old screws with crystal heads attached. The keyless standard size socket is a new replacement as is the wire. There are some chips on the crystals- see close up pix. Thanks for looking! Check out my! Antique Cast Aluminum/Cut Glass Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 3-Socket
Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. The spot they are in makes them not too noticeable. Has some scuffs, but not bad. The fixture is approx. 11" overall diameter(measured to the ... moreoutside edge of the sockets) Fixture is 12 3/4" tall, the whole fixture when hanging is about 21-22" long. When hanging.
