If I polish ... morethem, I loose a little of the market of buyers because they like the patina left on the light. If you prefer yours polished, these would look amazing and it wouldn't be hard at all with just a little time and some brasso. I found these in the rafters of an out building at an estate sale. They wasn't in terrible condition but the sockets were pretty much toast. The lights used to have the type socket with a roll switch on each socket. One of the pics shows where the flange just below the bulb has the place cut out for such a socket. If you want, you could put this type socket back in it. The opening can be turned to the back so it can't be seen. I just think it limits as to where the lights could be used if the switch was on the socket. You could just turn it on before mounting them and the switch would then work them but most of the time these will be used where you can't reach the light to use that type switch. Anyway, it has brand new sockets and wire in it, so they are ready to use if this application fits your needs. These are solid brass and not plated. Judging by the sockets that was in them and the wiring, I'd say 30's or 40's but I don't think they are any newer than that. Beautiful matching set and well made. You should know their size by the pics I took with a tape measure. The shades are pretty common and you can still find many different ones to go with these. These are also versital because you can turn them up or down. Each shade holder only has 2 out of 3 of the screws that holds the shades in the light. Plenty enough if they are turned up, if you mount them turned down, you will probably need to make sure you have all 3 screws in the holder or the shade will fall out. Vintage brass five double arm ten light Spanish chandelier ceiling light fixture
For sale is an absolutely beautiful vintage brass Spanish style chandelier. The actual chandelier measures about 24 inches across and about 20 inches down. This part is connected to a decorative Spanish chain that is about 16 inches long and of course is connected to the matching brass canopy. This gives the total length for the chandelier hanging down from the ceiling to be about 38 inches. You could make it shorter or longer by adding or eliminating some of the links in the chain. The chandelier has five arms that have double bulb holders giving the total number of bulb holders to be ten(gives off a lot of light) The bulb holders take smaller chandelier bulbs and are covered with decorative candle covers. Some of the candle covers do show some wear around the top and one of the candle covers has been replaced(It is a little whiter in color ... morebut not very noticeable) Both things are very minor and as you can see from the pictures does not deter from the beauty or function of chandelier. The chandelier has the original cloth covered wiring and is in working order. The chandelier is a solid decorative brass with a great antique patina. This is a very beautifu and unusual cast brass candle wall sconce. The arms swing and measure 15" wide when fully spread. The piece is 8" tall. It is perfect condition except for a hairline crack in the casting that is almost invisible. Someone braised the crack on the back as you can see form the photo. Double arm Antique BRASS WALL SCONCE RUFFLED GLASS SHADES Early 1900's Art Deco This is for an antique solid brass wall light fixtures in good condition. The leaf decoration is cast brass. The rest of the canopy is pressed brass and has a couple of small dings in the smooth part. There is no nut and threaded tubing for the center of the fixture. The clear& frosted glass shades have a lovely ruffled edge and pleat design. The pleats are frosted on one side and clear on the other side. It gives the appearance of a very light frosting. No chips or cracks and they have a lovely bell tone when flipped with your finger. The gracefully curved arms have an engraved design on them. There are 2 matching sconces listed also that look like they were used with this one or in the next room. The glass is similar but does not match the glass on this ... more1 exactly. The other sconces that are listed have clear glass that is slightly smaller. Projection from the canopy to the glass outer edge measures about 10 1/2" Height is about 8" Glass by itself is 4 1/4" tall by itself and about 7" diameter. Brass canopy is 12" x 5 1/2" by itself.

The ten sockets each accepting 60 watts of candelabra based bulbs. This chandelier was made in around the 1950's. The measurements are 22" tall and 20" wide. Attractive Pair of Antique Cast Brass Adam Style Double-Arm Sconces NSP859
A lovely pair of antique Adam style double-arm sconces. Salvaged out of a home in Ohio and dating from the early 1900's. Each cast brass sconce features an urn-shaped back plate crowned by a curved loop finial; two elegant arms curl upwards from either side of the back plate to support a two-part bobeche. Wreath and bow decoration, 2 pressed glass bobeches, plus 32 three sided lead crystals. One crystal is chipped on the top edge. There are no missing crystals or any damage to the rest of the fixture. There is no nut and threaded tubing for the center of the fixture. Marked made in Spain Projection from the wall to the glass outer edge measures about 5 1/2" Height is about 11 1/2" Width is 12" The octagon crystals are just under 1" closer to 7/8" and the triangular ones measure 3/4" wide x 3" long. Beautiful Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconce w/shades-Ornate-Reversible
This light is not brass plated. It's high quality solid brass made. Of course the arms have to have a hole in the for the wire to feed thru but there's nothing cheap about this beautiful ornate brass light. I don't see a makers name on it but that's not unusual for any light of any age. It's versital because it can be mounted up or down depending on your needs. It doesn't have the cross plated behind it for mounting but you can find those at any home improvement store such as lowes, most of the time, there's already one there if your taking one down to put this one up. (2) Set of Antique Double Arm Solid Brass Wall Light Sconces-Rewired-w/sockets
I used to polish all my brass lights until I learned. Not all buyers like the high polished look. Some like them just like you see these. If I polish them, I loose a little of the market of buyers because they like the patina left on the light. If you prefer yours polished, these would look amazing and it wouldn't be hard at all with just a little time and some brasso. I found these in the rafters of an out building at an estate sale. They wasn't in terrible condition but the sockets were pretty much toast. The lights used to have the type socket with a roll switch on each socket. One of the pics shows where the flange just below the bulb has the place cut out for such a socket. If you want, you could put this type socket back in it. The opening can be turned to the back so it can't be seen. I just think it limits as to where ... morethe lights could be used if the switch was on the socket. You could just turn it on before mounting them and the switch would then work them but most of the time these will be used where you can't reach the light to use that type switch. Anyway, it has brand new sockets and wire in it, so they are ready to use if this application fits your needs. These are solid brass and not plated. Judging by the sockets that was in them and the wiring, I'd say 30's or 40's but I don't think they are any newer than that. Beautiful matching set and well made. You should know their size by the pics I took with a tape measure. The shades are pretty common and you can still find many different ones to go with these. These are also versital because you can turn them up or down. Each shade holder only has 2 out of 3 of the screws that holds the shades in the light. Plenty enough if they are turned up, if you mount them turned down, you will probably need to make sure you have all 3 screws in the holder or the shade will fall out.
