Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. Early 1900s Vintage Amber Glass Ceiling Light Fixture Hall Entry Enclosed Porch
Description: This light fixture has an antique amber glass shade. Circa 1920. The hexagonal shade is textured and has an embossed pattern that was common for stained glass windows at the time. The cast metal shade holder is not from the same period, but rather Mid-Century. It has the color of aged brass, but not real dark, and it has a new porcelain socket with new wiring and mounting hardware. The light measures 9-3/4" tall. And 6" wide. The condition is excellent, with some chips around the 4" fitter rim, which are not seen at all when the shade is installed. Gorgeous and Huge Vintage Mid Century Modern MOE Light Hanging Foyer Hall or Outdoor Porch Light in perfectly working. Complete, as found condition, it truly needs nothing but to be installed! This outstanding and scarce mid century modern Moe Light is very grand and is truly virtually a palatial piece. The pendant itself measures a whopping 10" wide with the glass being 8 9/16" wide. And it stands roughly 22" tall without the chain. The original ceiling mounting plate and hardware are included as well, and the chain included is a full 18" long, meaning when hung from the ceiling it is roughly 41" long, or links can easily be removed as well. A truly breath taking light fixture for entryways front porches and MCM lovers of all kinds. It was incredibly well made and does have drain holes for all outdoor applications ... moretoo. This beautiful and large pendant was removed by myself personally, from a mid century modern home done in the Frank Lloyd Wright design just prior to demolition, and I was told virtually everything in this home had been custom made. Vintage 2-Light Art Nouveau / Art Deco Brass Sconce Needs TLC Hall Porch Rehab
This is one of several sconces we got recently. They all need re-wiring. And various amount of TLC. This 2-light sconce is brass. It's dirty. We cleaned it a little. And some of the original accent paint showed through- Arts& Crafts green. The metal is solid, but one of the bobeshes is bent. The sconce does not stick to a magnet. It still has some of the old cloth wiring and needs to be rewired. From the very top to bottom. The sconce is 8.5” high without bulbs. It's about 9” wide and 5” deep. It's got a small footprint. A great solid heavy brass and glass fixture that could be used on a porch or in a hall; circa 1930's or 40's. Fixture has 6 panels of glass. One panel is hinged as a side door that has a locking knob. Glass is set in a very heavy solid brass frame with an antique finish. There are four candelabra base sockets. Cast Fleur De Lis accents adorn the top of the frame. Dimensions of body are 20" tall by 10" in diameter. Vintage 1940's Ornate Italian Hall Lantern Porch Light Gothic Wrought Iron
For your consideration is this wonderful Italian hall lantern or porch light. From the 1940's. This light is in good condition, with all of it's original textured glass and all of the tabs to hold the glass in place. It is beautifully ornate with lots of wrought iron scroll work, all holding well, no broken pieces. The lantern is secured to the 5 3/4" canopy with the scroll work. It is 19 1/2" tall and 11 3/4" across including the scrollwork. The glass portion of the light is 8 3/4" tall. This light looks as though it did hang on a porch, it is not rusted but weathered and the black paint has some rainbow effect from being out in the weather. Pendant Porch Entry Or Hall Light. Heavy Bullet or Melon Glass & Brass
Antique or vintage hall or porch ceiling light fixture. Mid century. Spanish Revival style. Brass with very heavy clear melon glass. I do not have a bulb light socket for it. Sold as is to cover existing or new ceiling socket. The bottom has a tiny bit of a red& navy or black original oval label. I do not know the maker but that may be a clue to you as to who the maker is. Lightolier used this glass on porch lights but I cannot say this is a lightolier product. I do NOT have the two brass screws to attach it to the ceiling. Approx 9" high& 6" across base.
