I presume that these were manufactured in ... morethe 1950's or 60's but I am not sure. Certainly vintage and of good quality. Unlike the cheap imported items available today. Both have been checked by a master electrician and are working fine as seen in pics. The wiring is still very pliable and in good condition. Ready to hang, no rewiring necessary. No mounting hardware included, but can be obtained at any hardware store or lighting supply house. Nice vintage condition but not new or mint, so please do not expect them to be. There are some chips to the shades at the mounting area, which are well hid when installed. There is some old paint at the top of the canopies and a piece of scotch tape, both which I'm certain could be removed. There is some scratching to the frost on the shades, presumably from cleaning. Please expect the items to have various other areas of wear and patina, including scratches, scrapes, dings, rust, dirt, finish loss, etc etc as they are quite old and used. I'm not trying to degrade the items as they do look nice displayed, just trying to be thorough. Please closely examine the pics for best description and contact me with any questions before bidding. Consisting mostly in frosted glass while the spaces between the single plains are made out of clear polished glass. The mounting is made out of chrome-plated metal. Hi up for sale is this amazing vintage ceiling light fixture shade. It is approx. 16" across. The hole is 13 3/4" across. It is approx. 6 1/2" tall. the outside is frosted, has a pansy flower in the middle the rest of it is an organic veined texture. All around the sides are pansies. It is in good shape, no breaks or chips. There is a tad bit of slight scuffing by the center flower. A fantastic shade! Antique 40's "Bag Style" Glass Chandelier 1 of set of 3 Boudoir Glam
Hi. I have here for auction an attractive Antique 1940's BAG STYLE CRYSTAL GLASS CHANDELIER, It comes complete with the original ceiling support hook which is unusual in itself, please see pic 7. This Chandelier was taken from an exclusive apartment opposite The Harrods department store in London. Knightsbridge 30 years ago by my fathers company. It is from a set of three matching chandeliers. Large 44 cm wide x 28 cm deep 7 Tier waterfall, Medium 30 cm wide x 28 cm deep 6 Tiers waterfall and Smaller 27 cm wide x 24cm deep"BAG" style chandelier. The only one for sale in this auction is this"BAG style" one. The others are listed separately(see pic 8 for a group shot) My fathers company had acquired the flat sort of accidentally in a company takeover/ buyout at the time. I would think the 3 chandeliers I have for sale ... morewould have been up in this flat for at least 20-30 years making the age of the chandeliers approx 50-60 years old. Fortunately when the company decided to renovate and modernise the apartment my father brought these amazing chandeliers home to the west midlands where they have lived ever since. Unfortunately I am now moving into a rented house for 18 months so must slim down. The Chandelier is absolutely spectacular and I have found it extremely difficult to photograph. To be honest it needs a really thorough clean so it will really sparkle. I have also recently done some research into its history and I now belive it is of excellent quality. It has 5 raised leaves from the upper tier from which a swag of crystals also drape around the top. The Top measures 10 inches or approx 27 cms across. The depth of the chandelier from the top of the leaves to the central flower shaped disc at the bottom measures approx 24 cm or approx 9 inches. Sorry. No International Shipping. Please note that our photos are below the item description. This great pair of vintage chrome sconces are 21" tall and 3" wide across the widest part of the backs. The chrome shades on the front are 18" tall and 3" wide. We haven't cleaned or worked on them at all. They are in good original condition but are in need of some restoration. The chrome plating is 100% intact and they would polish up beautifully. Their only imperfections are: there is some old paint residue along the sides of the sconces(the only large spot seen in the second photo and the close up just below it) and there is a bit of bending in the brackets that hold the shades in place(4th row of photos) Again please note that you are only seeing dirt in the close ups not scratches or missing chrome. Reminding on the at that time futuristic skyscraper buildings. It is made out of pink-colored glass with amber-colored inclusions. Inside the lampshade is underlayed with white opaline glass. The fixture has a minimalistic design and is made out of chrome-plated metal. It is in working condition but just needs cleaning, about 4 extra prisms and candle sleeves.It has 5 arms and measures 20" wide and 12" tall excluding the chain.It is made from a gold gilt metal and glass. It has bobeches on each arm which are 4" wide. With prisms attached. Total prisms are 26, it needs about 4 more and a center glass ball.The prisms are 3" long and are glass(1 prism is chipped) There are little glass flower rosettes throughout the chandelier which at one time probably had glass bead chain attached. Antique 1800's Victorian Hanging Light/Chandelier Oil/Kerosene Parlor Ornate
Needs some parts but the metal work is as ornate and fancy as it gets. It needs a shade with a 14" fitter. I think the one brass part you see on the table is the smoke cap that hangs below the motor. No chimney or wick. Missing a few nuts. The motor mechanism for raising and lowering works good with a good strong spring. The only place I see it signed is on the burner nob marked Made in America Patent pending or Apd For-I forget which and have it packed. Hand painting is nice. No chips or cracks to the glass. None of the metal work is twisted or broken. I didn't attempt to shine anything. I believe the age is 1870's to 1880's. I have disassembled it some for shipping to keep the metal work from getting twisted and the motor and the burner assembly with font are both individually boxed with everything being in a larger box ... morethat gets charged dimensional weight. I am pretty sure I don't have it hanging correctly in the pictures but you can get a good idea of it. You will need to sign for this upon delivery. Consolidated Art Deco Amber Glass Lamp / Light Shade
Art Deco Consolidated Amber Glass Lamp or Light Shade This amber glass shade was made by Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company of Coraopolis. Pennsylvania in the late 1920's or early 1930's. The shade is about 12 inches wide and 5 inches tall. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. There are some small cloudy spots in the finish in a few areas of the shade which are typical for a shade of this age. I could not get any of the spots to show up in my photos because they are so light. There are also a few paint dots on the glass. The size of a pin head. I have seen shades of this design with glass tabs on the inside of the shade which require a"fitter shade" which twists into the larger shade. Here we have a very cool Machine Age Edison wall sconce with a really great japanned brass finish and 8 inch antique flat milk glass shade. Including the shade this lamp will stick out about 14 1/2 inches from your wall. This has a great early Edison socket with a Bryant turn paddle that has mica used as an insulator as shown in photo 12. This sconce is a rare find and has a great look to it. 20" Aluminum Radial Wave Street Lamp Shade Reflector Vintage Street Lamp Shade Reflector in great condition. I think it is Line Materials. But I cannot find a maker's mark. The clips are in perfect condition. My grandfather worked for the city utility company and had a number of decommissioned street lamps converted for home use. This radial wave reflector has been turned into a lamp with a pull chain. He added the gold-colored cap and lamp parts to use it in his home. I believe the underside was painted silver. But could be original I do not know. The modern lamp parts could easily be removed to return to vintage state.

Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! French Art Deco chandelier lamp DES HANOTS 1900-30. Verlys (Hettier & Vincent?)
Normal 0 0 1 2 16 1 1 19 11.1539 0 0 0 Item Description- Rare DES HANOTS moulded glass chandelier with nickle plated floral bosses. Intricate hanging chains and ceiling rose. Made from thick, pressed glass between in the early 1900's in France at the Verlys factory. DES HANOTS was a signature used by Verlys(VERrerie des andeLYS) for some of its highest quality Art Deco products destined for export. The factory was aslo favoured produced of colourless glass for Hettier& Vincent who specialised in the metal components of French Art Deco lighting. Most of this metal work was un-signed and I can find no markings on this hanging system. The quality of detail to the chain and ceiling rose is exceptional and quite possibly theirs. The diameter is 35 cms or nearly 14 inches. The bowl depth is 10 cms/ 4 inches and it weighs nearly 3 kilograms- ... more6.6 pounds. Circular with geometric berries. Flowers buds and leaves design, the thick glass has a light frosted texture. The glass is in great condition. There are some small charming bubbles common in method of glass production. There is a tiny fleabite or two to the rim and to the underside of the bowl. I have had to look very hard for these. They are hardly noticeable and I only mention them for accuracy. An example is shown in picture 11. Each of the 3 holes for the hanging points has some small chips around them. Which is totally standard for this kind of lampshade. It is a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. The glass is in nice shape… no chips or cracks– there are rough edges and a little of the frost has wore in areas not seen upon display(except one tiny spot) We believe this is a Merkel fixture and it is numbered(starting with an“8” though we are uncertain of some digits(with a“T” above the numbers) The fixture has been rewired with new sockets… though the original ... moreceramic bases were saved. I have for auction this fabulous gilt bronze traditional hall lantern. It is french and was found in a house clearance here in the South of France, so it is vintage, I have not cleaned the lantern except for the glass, I understand that some dealers do not like their metal ware cleaned, but I am sure it will be much brighter still with cleaning if you want it to be. I would think it will date to C1930s, it is wired for use, but this is old wiring and with all second hand electrical items, it is always wise to have this checked out before use, it is designed to take two standard edison screw type light bulbs, the light bulbs displayed in the chandelier are for display only and are not part of this auction. This classic style of hall lantern is highly sought after at present, you often see them displayed in beautiful homes in the high end interior ... moredesigners magazines, adding great style and class to any entrance hall. This lantern is a beautiful early example, it is lovely quality, it would have been very expensive when first purchased. What I love so much ab out this lantern is the wonderf u l glass cylinder shaped liner. The glass has so much charact e r. That you get with early glass, such as the wavey fluid like effect. It emphasizes it's age and adds great charm. The maximum drop from the ornate ceiling rose is approx 19.5" or 50cms, this could be easily lengthened or shortened by adding or removing chain, the diameter is approx 7.25" or 18.5cms.
