The timeless 1930's glass skyscraper shade is a pure white milk glass on the sides with classic Art Deco detailing. The shade has a clear stepped bottom with geometric designs. Which has a hint of the sun purple color to show its age. This is a one piece shade and there are no chips. Cracks, or other issues, although there may be a pinhole or two in the paint which is pretty standard for this age shade. The old fixture has been re-painted in chrome/nickel and has new wiring. This is a nice antique brass gold metal hanging flush mount ceiling light fixture. Magnet does not stick to the ceiling mount but sticks to the chain. Circumference of ceiling mount is approximately 4 1/2 inches. Length of ceiling mount is approximately 4 1/2 inches. The ceiling mount has some paint on it showing it's age. Antique Glass flush mount ceiling light fixture Daisy & Btton Pattern
Antique flush mount clear glass ceiling light. Base has a white coating on the inside of the clear glass. It also has a pattern that looks similar to a birds foot print with three small marks with a small space inbetween them and they are raised in glass. Middle of the light the clear glass is in a button daisy pattern. it does have a seem on this part. The shade is a very pointy hobnail or dew drop pattern with some points smaller and some larger. I believe this dates early 1900's to 1930's due to the knob and tube wiring it is copper wire with cloth cover. Unknown maker I researched a consideral amount of time trying to find out what company was the maker and was not able to find another one or one with similar patterns together. For the age it is in very good condition the shade does not have any chips or cracks that i could feel ... moreor see. The middle daisy and button pattern part also does not have any chips or cracks that i could feel or see. The base has two holes for mounting it to the ceiling it has a small amount of the white missing on the inside around the holes and there is a small chip on the edge of one of the mounting holes on the outside of the clear glass. Also there is a small amount of ceiling paint on the inside edge that sits flush against the ceiling which should not be seen when installed.it might be possible to clean this off. Also on the inside edge there is a small spot of white missing. Please look over all Pictures i have tried to include detailed pictures for you to see. I would recomend rewiring this which would be very easy The base comes apart very easily. I was not able to test it before acquiring this peice. I did a contract on clearing out a old home that was damaged from Hurricane Sandy here in Crisfield MD. Due to the home being abandon and had been flooded there was no power.This light was in the entrance by the front door and was the only original fixture left.the home also had knob and tube wiring. Antique 5 Light Polychrome Art Deco Flush Mount Ceiling Fixture
I intended to have this flush mount. 5 light, Art Deco polychrome ceiling fixture installed in my own home, so I had it rewired and the sockets replaced. Please see invoice in last picture. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find an electrician willing to accept such a small job, so with the deepest regret I am now offering it to you. I find no brand or country of origin on the fixture. It is in wonderful condition, with no repairs to the metal. The colors are bright and clear. It is about 15 1/4" in diameter and measures about 4" from the ceiling to the end of the attached finial. It will definitely add a touch of sophistication to your own home.

Original Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture Flush Mount, 2 Drop Sockets 1920
I recently renovated an old 1920 two story house that had almost all original period lighting. I removed 22 old fixtures of which the majority was still working at the time of removal. This fixture came out of an upstairs bedroom. The light was working at the time of removal. The fixture is made of brass but has a cast iron finial. Is 12" in diameter and the sockets hang down 6 1/2" to where the fitter for the shades are at the bottom of the sockets. The sockets are Weber Fat Boys with paddle key switches. The fixture is being sold as is with the expectation that this item will be refurbished to todays electrical standards by the purchaser. The fixture is in the condition that it was removed with both dirt and paint on it which is mainly around the edge where it was mounted to the ceiling.
