The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. The decorative mount is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter while the globe mount measures approximately 4 1/2" Would like to bring to your attention that one decorative leaf is missing from the bottom of one of the sconces as shown in photo#5. These types of old American made light fixtures are becoming more and more difficult to find. Back when these were made they were made to last. This is a great pair of old light fixtures that can be used inside or out side. Each is made of a metal material. Probably cast aluminum and are black in color. Each measures 23” overall and have 8 beveled glass sides“octagon shape” with the original glass in each of the eight side. The lights were tested and both work. The wiring is cloth but still in great shape. All of the glass panels are in nice condition with one exception. One lantern has two glass panels with a small chip in the glass both chips are inside the lamp and are hardly visible. There is no damage to them otherwise only some wear from use. Each will hold an incandescent light bulb. With standard size base. I do not know their age ... moreor the manufacturer.
