From a local estate. Here is a beautiful older ceiling light fixture. This is painted pot metal and is set up for two bulbs, it measures about 12.75" end to end, about 7" across the middle. Sockets, mounting piece, and finial are intact. Will definitely need to be cleaned and rewired, but a good start, no damage at all. Classic art deco styling, should restore to a showpiece. No maker that we could find, but looks like a Chicago manufacturer and may be signed under the plate that holds the arms in place. Bare bulb. Flush mount. Arms light down. Bobeches have raised shields. A hammered design all over, twisted stems and dentil detail on the ceiling cap. Should be rewired of course- looks like original cloth covered electrical. Sockets look OK. Measures 5" high so perfect in arts crafts bungalow or any low ceiling period house. Ceiling cap or canopy is 6" in diameter and the extreme width is about 21" No issues to report. Two Rare and Absolutely Beautiful Porcelier Porcelain Flush Mount Light Fixtures. Art Deco Era with soft pink and green floral designs on corners. The color of the fixtures is an amazing cream color glaze. Original double sockets and deep seating screws. Both of the fixtures are virtually flawless. There are NO cracks. Chips, crazing or breaks. There is a small drop of cream colored paint between two ribs that may need to be rubbed off. It really wouldn't have to be touched/disturbed as it is not noticeable. I would love to keep these for myself but I don't know when I would get them put up. So I am hoping that someone will cherish these and show them off in their own home. I never bothered to clean it off because it never bothered me but it could carefully be removed too

For your consideration is this beautiful 1930's-40's flush mount ceiling light. In Gothic, Art Deco Style. The light measures 12 1/4" long and 8" across. The fixture is 6 3/4" across at the ceiling. The shade is in wonderful condition, no cracks, it does have some minor chipping at the fitter lip, which does not show when the light is put together. These lights were made to put over and decorate, plain porcelain ceiling fixtures. If you had a plain one you could just screw this over it and hide your plain fixture. We added a ceiling strap and new standard size Edison base socket, it is wired and ready to hang. The original brass fitter has great aged patina and a few tiny spots of old paint. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE FOR ADDITIONAL PHOTOS OF THIS BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE FIXTURE- 14" HANG This NO RESERVE auction offers a Gorgeous Vintage Art Deco Style Ceiling light Fixture Chandelier. If it's still available. I also have a very similar Chandelier listed in a different auction but it has a longer hang. The Beautiful Glass Shade on this fixture measures an IMPRESSIVE 13 inches wide across the top and is approx 3 1/2 inches deep. It is shaped like a Large Lotus Flower with a Nice Soft Frosted and Clear Design. The shade is also accented with an antique brass finish shade cap at the bottom and a Beautiful Sparkling Crystal Ball Finial. This shade is in Excellent Condition with no chips or cracks but it does have some very minor roughness ... morearound the top rim that faces the ceiling. It also has some minor roughness around the center mounting hole and it has a second smaller hole off to the side of the center mounting hole. This smaller hole was probably used for a pull chain at one time or another but it is completely covered with the shade cap and will never be seen once the fixture is mounted to your ceiling.I just wanted to mention it for accuracy. Lit or un-lit this Vintage Chandelier is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! When lit the light filters through the clear sections of the shade and up the stem producing an awesome lighting effect. This one will definitely capture your attention from the moment you walk into the room. The Stem of this Fixture features a Clear Glass Ribbed Center Column and a 4 1/4 inch Frosted and Clear Glass Bobeche that holds 10 Large Sparkling Crystal Prisms. This Semi Flush Mount Chandelier measures just 12 inches from the top of the new Antique Brass Finish Ceiling Canopy to the bottom of the shade and just 14 inches from the top of the canopy to the bottom of the crystal ball finial.A perfect fixture for those homes with lower ceilings.
