And with accents of jade and red. The colors are artfully blended(see images) and the effect is, well, stunning. You can also note subtle 1930s Deco influences. Kinda cool. Please also note the new cloth wiring. This set is ideal of course for a Spanish-Revival home. But they would as well in an Art- Crafts style home. Wholly restored and with new wiring. This pair is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: Sadly. The period-correct, hand-painted bulbs are not included. Happily, I will let you know where to get them. The fixtures accept standard base 60W bulbs. COLOR: See above. SIZE: The fixture hangs down 26-1/2-inches and are 17-1/2-inches wide. I can remove up to 6-inches of chain. I can add chain. CONDITION: I love writing this: there’s no damage. The sockets are original(and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators. Up for consideration is a fine set of 6 bronze 2 arm wall sconces. The sconces are very thick. Heavy, robust, very masculine if I may add they are surprisingly larger than what shows in the photos. The sconces measure 12 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide and 6 inches deep. They weigh about 3 1/2 pound each. The sconces are bronze and are the Spanish Revival Form with a hammered texture. c.1927 Antique Vintage Lamp Made by Leviton as marked on the electric candle Art Deco Era- Spanish Revival. Gothic Style Single-Candle Electric Wall Sconce Marked patent 11-15-27 on the candle's electric bar under the cardboard tube. It's made from metal and called polychrome finish with gold color background and highlights of blue and red in center of what looks to me like a shield design. There is a crown shape in center. Decorative volutes at top and bottom, button like flower shape in center which attaches the bracket in back. On/off switch at base. Important.this old sconce needs to be rewired. Note the hammer marks and detail on the axe and hanger. This pair of lights measure 14" tall by 5 1/4" wide and stand out from the wall 7 1/2" The sconces have their original textured glass shades. One of the shades does have three chips around the fitter mouth, it does not affect them holding in the fitter and does not show when the sconces are together. Vintage Wrought Iron Sconce PAIR - Spanish Revival Monterey Arts & Crafts 1920's
This is a PAIR of vintage wrought iron wall sconces- PLUS a third sconce that is a slight variation in the same pattern. But does not have a switch. These sconces measure about 10 1/4" by 5 1/4" They are made of heavy gauge iron and weigh about 2 1/2 lbs. each. I do not know their maker. But from various construction details it is obvious to me that these are factory produced pieces. However, the wrought iron is hand hammered with subtle variations in the details. From the wiring components. I think they likely date from the 1920's or 1930's. The original finish is a single coat of satin black paint which is now obviously aged and worn. This is a great looking pair of vintage wrought iron Gothic/Spanish revival candleholder wall sconces. I'm not sure how old they are. But you can see they have good age. One measures 12 1/2 inches tall. The other 13 inches(31.8 cm, 33 cm) They're each 9 inches wide(22.9 cm) They protrude from the wall 3 3/4 inches(9.5 cm) The detailed hand work is really beautiful. They're all original and have never been repainted. They each have a little hole on the flat star base of the candleholder section. So with a little ingenuity they can actually be turned into lights if you like. They're both in very good condition. With just embedded dust on them and a few tiny areas where paint has chipped off. Mid century(probably 60s) They are fairly large at about 2ft tall each and come with a hanging chain and switched cord. The glass is a yellow amber and there are colored glass accents abound. Overall they are in good shape with just need of a cleaning. Offered here is a unique Spanish style iron lantern. Made around the 1950's. At initial offering two of these are available, sold separately. These pieces have been restored, cleaned and rewired by our restoration staff. This chandelier measures 20" tall by 12" wide. And includes 36" of chain and a matching ceiling canopy. Beautifully restored spanish revival sconces. These lights were stripped. Cleaned, and repainted. The metal is in a hammered finish look with a black satin paint. These lights date to 20s-30s and are not reproductions like so many try to pass off. Each light is stamped M.E.P. which stands for Markel Electronic Products. Antique/Vintage Gothic Art Deco Spanish Revival Wall Sconces NEW Wiring Sockets
A pair of heavy ornate antique/vintage electric wall two-light sconces in working order. The old sockets were broken or missing so I had them replaced with new sockets and wiring. A white plastic sleeve is also included which slips over the cardboard lined socket to give the old style look of a candle. They have been tested and are working. The hand on/off switches are not wired as most people will want to operate them from a wall switch. They are made of what appears to be cast iron with a polychrome type finish which does show some age wear plus some house paint on the edges. Approximately 8.5" wide by 10" high. Vintage Spanish revival newel post light. From the iron staircase of the home.
A few months ago I listed a bunch of light fixtures from a GREAT Spanish Revival home up the street from me. The new owners are remodeling. And did not want the fixtures. When I got the first batch, they had not replaced the newel post light yet, but they just brought it to me. this is from a home built in the late 1920's. All the fixtures were hand made by a local black smith(NOW FAMOUS FOR HIS LIGHT FIXTURES HERE! I sold everything except 1 pair of sconces(I still have them if interested) this was on the front staircase that was wrought iron(also made by him) I have not rewired this. This just sets on a"pipe" and had 2 screws that held it on(missing) This is between 14" and 15" tall.

It's about twenty inches tall from top to bottom- plus there's about ten inches of chain that you'll probably want to replace. About twenty inches from side to side. Needs new(or old) candle lights.
