This is a very nice pair of brass wall sconces with original patrina in good working condition. There is one light per sconce. Hanging from the beautiful floral crest are tear drop and button lead crystal prisms. They measure 8" high to the top of the sleeve. 9" wide, and extend 7" out from the wall. Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. A very unique pair of antique Vintage Brass Big Horn Sheep Wall Sconces Beautiful Cut Crystal Glass Globes. These were removed from a house in Dallas Texas that was built in early 1920s. They both do work. These were mounted above the fire place. Part of the reason the darkening on them. I believe it is brass for sure brass look maybe a cast metal instead of brass a magnet is not attracted to them. They are heavy for sure. The cut crystal glass globes are beautiful cut pieces. They are mounted on a wood plaque that screws into the wall. They are about 14" tall and 5 1/2" wide across the wood plaque and they will stick out from the wall about 8 1/2" not counting the globe, with the globes on they area bout 11 1/2" from the wall. One globe does have a small chip or this was from the making of them not sure on 1 of the crown ... moreor point pieces. there is a picture of it but hard to see. STUNNING! 2 Deco Hollywood Regency Antique Brass Wall Sconces w/Crystal Prisms
This auction is for a stunning pair of very unusual Art Deco Hollywood Regency wall sconces in very good vintage working condition. Each brass sconce has 29 crystal prisms. The sconces measure approx 10" wide. 8.5" tall and 4.5" deep. The sconces are cloth wired, they do work but I would recommend rewiring them. The brass has some patina and some remnants of paint around the top edge. This is easily removed, but i'll leave that up to the new owner. Please see all pictures and contact me with any questions.
