Please scroll down below the text to view all of the photographs so as to be able to ascertain the condition of this item. This auction is for what I believe to be a French Chrystal Chandelier. The chandelier is arrange in two tiers. The first crystal is a rose cut crystal with a dropper crystal underneath and measures approximately overall 8" outside diameter and a drop of 9" excluding the chains. All of the crystals appear to original and in place with none missing. The crystals also appear to be in good order. however some of the tips have tiny chips to them you have to look really close and I am not sure if this was made in manufactureWhat would seem to be the original 3 hook ceiling rose is present. The bands are made of brass and the top band has a flower and leaf motif running around the circumference. The top band has 5 ... morebrass leave coming off the top of the ring. Each of these leaves has again a two part dropper as above, again in good order. The brass work does show signs of tarnishing due to the age of the item. The item will be posted wrapped in bubble wrap. Boxed with chipping's. As you will be aware shipping may cause some of the droppers to become un hooked, we will take all care when packing. VINTAGE 1940s Rose Ceiling light Shade Fixture Chandelier Leaf Design
You are viewing a 1940s Ceiling light fixture, Shade thick glass and is a rose pink Satin color on the outside.It has a clear raised design of leaves on the outside rim and center. The inside is smooth and the outside is a slight texture to it. There are 3 small holes for the hanging chains to the aluminum colored fixture the chains and fixture are all will are included. All is in excellent condition. The glass shade measure 11" in diameter. And is quite heavy, 3 1/2 lbs. This fixture has not been tested. All wiring appears in good condition, though it is original. It has scalloped edge at ceiling, with a clear designed glass piece just below the 5 1/4" base at the ceiling.The fixture is 4" in length, then hangs approx 4 more inches with the chains. You are bidding on one lovely Art Nouveau lightweight cast metal enamel finish ceiling light fixture. This fixture is ivory with a sweet swirled design in pale aqua and rose pink. The base of the fixture that fastens to the ceiling is 6 3/8" in diameter. It has 2 holes where it screws into the ceiling. The part that holds the socket/bulb has a decorative folded back design. Winning bidder will need to have the fixture rewired as there are no wires. But the porcelain? socket is still with the fixture. There is also a little bit of paint here and there where ceiling paint got on it. This I am listing a matching fixture that looks like it has been painted all ivory. Lovely antique piece!
