This is for a beautiful Antique Spanish/French Brass& Crystal 5 Arm Chandelier. With fleur de lis patterns throughout. It came from a Wisconsin Estate. It is marked and made in Spain. Overall, it is in Very Good Original Condition! There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina is very nice! There are 51 crystals, which will be removed and packed seperately. The chandelier weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. It measures about 20 1/2 inches tall(without the chain) and about 20 inches wide. There are a total of 6 chain lengths at 2 inches long each, so you could get another 12 inches of height. There is a matching ceiling canopy and ceiling connector. The wiring looks good, but I would have it checked out by a qualified electrician. The chandelier has not been cleaned or polished. Please use the photos as part of the description. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. As can be seen in our pictures is in perfect working condition and ready to hang. It was too large for the room displayed in, and has to be replaced with ... morea smaller one. Antique 1920's Art Deco Crystal& Brass 5 Arm Electrified Chandelier This is old. Probably post WWI/ 1920's from the glass, which has a great Art Deco look. The glass is thick and sturdy. The wiring looks like the kind you find in old knob and tube electrical and it would certainly need rewiring. It does have a great look and all of the parts appear to be here including the collar that fits to the ceiling and the chain and its hardware necessary to hang it. As for the metal. I believe it is brass or something with brass plating over it. Some spots show the wear on the surface and I would take steel wool to it as the underneath looks like brass also. There are also a few rust spots on the very bottom that could benefit from a good cleaning. Restored, it would make a lovely addition to a post Victorian, Art Deco building. Title Stunning& Unusual Geometric Pattern 10 Arm Cage Chandelier, Solid Brass. Very Impressive, Fully rewired, Masses of Crystals This is a fabulous antique brass cage chandelier dating from around 1920-30. The shape is very unusual and attractive but a little difficult to appreciate from the photo's because of all the crystals! It has geometric shapes on each arm in a nod to art deco- we have sold thousands of chandeliers and never seen another quite like this. There are ten arms. Five of which are full height and form the cage shape. In addition there are another five shorter arms in between. Each arm has a glass drip bowl and the entire chandelier is hung with a wonderful mix of pendalogue and bears paw shape crystals. It was originally gilded and there are still traces of this but the brass has mellowed and darkened with age. ... moreThe brass central column at the top also features a geometric pattern. There is even an brass central spike at the base inside the cage and at the bottom is a superb large glass teardrop finial. It was completely dismantled in our workshops. Following a full restoration it was re-assembled. The cleaned crystals re-hung and of course it was fully rewired. The ceiling rose was missing when found so a new brass fitting was used which has been aged to match. It is good condition for it's age but it is nearly 100 years old. A couple of the arms are not quite as straight as they were when new and there are a few minor nibbles to the edges of the crystals. None of this detracts but we prefer to mention it. All complete. 1930's Brass & Pressed Glass 5 Arm Chandelier 50 French U-Drop Crystal Prisms
A lovely estate find in vintage condition. This is a brass and frosted pressed glass 5-arm chandelier. The shapely frosted pressed glass column and lower globe have classic designs etched. There is no finial on the lower globe. Each of the five brass arms hold 5 frosted etched glass globes. I don't believe these are the original globes. The globes have no chips or cracks. Wiring appears to be original so you may want to have re-wired. Current wiring does work. Minor tarnish on brass. Hanging from each arm are 10 crystal 3" u-drop prisms. They sparkle beautifully when the light is lit. The brass ceiling cap is 4 1/2" in diameter. The chandelier is 16" tall and 16" wide. The chain is 31" long. A spectacular pair of 12 arm brass chandeliers with crystal pendants. The chandeliers came out of an 1890's Arts and Crafts home. I can't find any information as to the owners name but there are pictures of her in the house with Henry Ford and Harvey Firestone. The chandeliers are 23" high and 33" across, the one pictured hanging is complete except for about 3' of garland. The second one is complete including the garland. I have not electrified the pieces but I am told there were working when removed in the 1970's. Don't miss your chance to own some history. Antique Vintage Copper & Brass and Crystal Four Arm Chandelier Heavy Restorable
Vintage Chandelier- Up for auction is a 4-arm solid brass& copper chandelier with many prisms. It measures about 10" wide. 13" long. It is missing a ceiling cap. There are three different kinds of prisms from the top five being the long"cut spear" style. This was in an estate and was working when removed. I am listing it as a restore because some of the crystals are missing. I have some I have found and will send along. Please know it does work and looked beautiful before removing. The movers did a horrible job packing and some crystals came off. It will be packed in a box surrounded by packing peanuts so it will not shift or cause further damage. The prisms are all in great shape with just a couple having a tiny fleck or chip. Overall.
