It's perfect for lots of impact in a small room with a low ceiling. This would be gorgeous in an entryway or powder bath. It's really beautiful when lit. The shade measures 10 inches in diameter. The hardware. And canopy is dark antique brass finish. The shade hangs by three silver tone chains with a sparkle bead on the ends. This fixture has a brand new triple socket and new wiring. It takes three standard size light bulbs. A really nice feature of old glass is that it gives off a beautiful warm glow no matter what kind of bulb you use. In the pictures above. I used fluorescent bulbs, and it's very bright and warm all at the same time. You can't get this same effect with the newer glass shades. The mounting hardware including the crossbar. Now, its being restored back to a theater, with period interior. This Art Deco Theater Sconce is in an uncleaned state. Its very well constructed. It needs rewired before installing. It has chippy silver paint with some rust, as shown in photos. Its constructed of steel, but its original paint is still intact. can be cleaned or repainted before mounting. That's up to you as to what your design preference would be. The insulators inside for the light bulbs are in good shape as far as i can see, just ... moreneeds rewired, depending on what your electrical codes are in your area. It needs a good cleaning, but depending on what you were going to use it for, cleaning could hurt the value. This is an authentic antique light fixture. I’m very pleased to offer this glittering surface-mounted crystal chandelier! The fixture is distinctive in having no chain. It attaches directly to the ceiling. This makes it ideal for a room with a low-ish ceiling. The overall height of the fixture is 20-inches. And that includes the glass sphere ... moreon the bottom. The width is 15-1/2-inches. As such. The fixture is ideal for an average- to small-sized room. Of note are the lovely cast brass rosettes which curl up from each arm. I also like how the hanging crystals are confined to the ceiling canopy. The fixture is high-quality. I believe the fixture dates from the 1930s or 1940s. The fixture is really unusual. I have never offered one like it! Wholly restored and with new wiring. This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed! DETAILS: The fixture accepts candelabra base 40W bulbs(not included) The brass originally had a gold lacquer finish. This is worn. Giving the fixture an attractively mottled, aged look. COLOR: Brass. Glass. SIZE: See above. CONDITION: The only issue is that one bobeche(the glass bowls under the candles) has a crack. This is really hard to see(I only noticed after removing the bobeches to wash them) The porcelain sockets are original with new wiring. The candle covers are new.
