They measure approx 6-3/4" from top to bottom, and are made of thick heavy glass, weighing approx 1 lbs 8 ounces each. This is an original matching set of shades, all have the same coloration and mold design. All the shades are in Excellent Condition- there is some normal age appropriate light wear but nothing that is significant. A few minor nibbles/ flea bite nicks but overall they are in great shape. One shade does have an inner rim chip but this is barely noticed from the exterior. The coloration and finish is excellent, the shades have a fired on finish. The design mold definition is excellent as well. There are No cracks,No breaks,no repairs, any wear is lighted to meager flea bite nips and one shade with an inner rim small chip that barely shows through to the front. The fixture itself is in Very Good original condition as well. No Damages- no cracks. No breaks, no repairs, etc. There is some age appropriate wear to the finish- some losses to the paint- nothing major but noted. The frame has not been cleaned and nor has the wiring or sockets been tested. All looks good, but I have not wired it up and tested it. The shades will be packaged with great care. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. This light was inspired by the mopar muscle car line of the late 60's and early 70's with their over the top bold colors. It has both a masculine as well as a femine look to it. And it compliments past. Present, and future decor. Not many lights can make this kind of statement. I may never create another one like this in my life time. Most sellers hide the fact that they have recreated a light. I am very proud that this is a custom one of a kind creation. Aluminum Art Deco Chandelier Mirror Slip Shades Unique
Cast aluminum Art Deco Chandelier probably manufactured by Lincoln. Illumination is produced by 5 exposed bare bulbs in ceramic sockets and one socket centrally located behind the etched glass panels with mirrored accents. The fixture is 17" wide and 32" long. All sockets have been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. One wire is solid white and the second wire is white with a gold tracer. Rare cast aluminum art deco 5 light slip shade fixture from the 1930's. Body was disassembled. Cleaned, reassembled, and rewired. Shades are in less than perfect condition, but look great when installed and illuminated. Each shade does have imperfections. Some exhibit chipped tips, chipped tabs along the edges, and spots in the finish. See images 1-12 above. As the title says I am also including an extra perimeter shade. Offered here is a lovely decorative cast aluminum polychrome chandelier with crystal accents. This piece has been fully rewired. Cleaned and restored. As with all of our antique and vintage lighting, this piece is ready to install in your home. Notice the green and red highlighted details on the ornate portions of the light. This kind of work is called polychrome. And is very common for piece produced in the 1930's for the American lighting market. Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. Beautiful 1930's Aluminum& Brass Art Deco 2 Light Slip Shade Chandelier Ceiling Fixture with two(2) shades. The fixture is 16" tall and about 12"14" wide. This striking fixture is in very good condition. The wiring has been replaced. But not sure about the sockets, which are moveable, making it easier to change bulbs. There are a few small chips on the shades, mainly around mounting openings, as shown in pictures, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the chandelier. Vintage Wrought Iron & Cast Aluminum Chandelier, w/ Eight Bulb Band of Lights
If you want unique. You've got it here. This large chanelier is made of wrought iron, stamped tin and cast aluminum, then painted a very retro burnt orange,and it works(the look and the lights) There is a circular band of eight lights in the middle which move a little, independantly with the rest of the piece. It's a bit of a mystery how this was assembled, but basically the cast aluminum pieces were screwed into the wrought iron sections and the stamped tin decorative pieces were welded in place, and all of this hanging from a VERY heavy duty(tow) chain. There are stamps or sticker on it so I can't say when or by whom it was made, but I'm guessing made in America and made to last. It measures 18"W x 37 1/2"T,a great old piece. For your consideration is a nice vintage dinette. Breakfast room, or small dining room size chandelier. It is just as it came from the ceiling of an estate, and could use a good scrubbing. It is brass plated metal with a wooden column. There are a couple small marks on the wooden column. The brass is highly discolored and shows definite signs of age. I attempted to show the wear to the finish in the photos, but it doesn't photograph that well. The base metal is very lightweight,and is probably aluminum. The 5 original shades are dirty but in otherwise perfect vintage condition with no cracks or chips. They are similarly very thin and lightweight. The wiring shows no obvious damage, though you may want to have it checked out by an electrician if you are unsure. The sockets are standard size, not chandelier size. Riddle 5 Light Art Nouveau Cast Aluminum Chandelier c1920s
This 5 light art nouveau chandelier was manufactured and signed by the Riddle Company. During the 1920's- 30's and has been rewired and restored all parts are original. The ugly flaking paint was stripped to the bare metal. New paint applied, plus glazes and two coats of protective clear finish. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with leaf and cabochon gem like details and a richly ornate stem attaching to the chain. Beneath, the chandelier body is an elaborate design featuring trailing leaves and floral accents. Five chandelier arms, joined by a band of cabochons are between each of the arms. Antique gold is the dominate color, with hand painted accents of hunter green and ruby red highlighting the art nouveau motif. For your consideration is a beautiful. Scarce. Cast aluminum, American art deco chandler made between 1930 and 1935. This is not just a lovely slip shade fixture with slag glass but actually a highly sought after“brown-tipped” or“soleure” pattern five-light slip shade fixture. Somewhere along its 85 year journey the five slip shades were lost or broken and five light amber slag covers were put in. This chandelier looks fantastic with the slag but it you ever dream of having the brown-tipped chandelier. You will have everything but the five slip shades. Notice the lower center brown tipped shade is already provided. But if you never go for the brown-tips. You will find this chandelier with very intricate details and beautiful finial. Up for auction is a very nice set of four(4) bobeches or electric socket adornments for an antique Art Nouveau or Art Deco or Arts and Crafts chandelier or ceiling hanging light fixture. I believe these are aluminum and they are quite heavy at 3 pounds unpacked. These are most likely from the early 1900's or the very early 1920's. They would fit around the socket of a fixture or sconce to help decorate the piece. Each piece is about 4.25 wide overall and has an interior opening of 1-7/16. I see no damage to note; no chips. No cracks or breaks and no repairs. I'm unsure of the exact age but they are guaranteed to be very old. I'm also unsure of the maker.
