It ... moreis a ceiling mount fixture with 5 frosted slip shades. It is a beautiful fixture that is a cast metal with a copper finish. It measures roughly 16” tall and 16” wide. The glass shades measure 8 ¾” x 6 ½” The condition is very nice. There is some paint around the edges of top mount piece. There is a little wear to the post. The glass is in nice shape… no chips or cracks– there are rough edges and a little of the frost has wore in areas not seen upon display(except one tiny spot) We believe this is a Merkel fixture and it is numbered(starting with an“8” though we are uncertain of some digits(with a“T” above the numbers) The fixture has been rewired with new sockets… though the original ceramic bases were saved. Antique Vintage 1920's Art Deco Ceiling Light Fixture-5 Amber Slip Glass Shades
This is a beautiful old slip shade chandelier circa 1920's. The condition is excellent with minimal wear and no breaks or cracks in the glass shades. The switch and wiring are very good and could be used but should be examined for suitability of your intended use. The total diameter of the fixture is 18" and 26" tall including the chain(the body is 14" tall and the chain section is 12" long. Each glass shade is approximately 6" in diameter. Thank you!

I have a 20's art deco vintage lightolier chandelier without slip shades.Comes with finiel the piece that hold the bottom globe. It has all the original wiring and sockets( not rewired) This lamp was purchased from the original owner's home. The lamp sizes are 151/2" tall top of the lamp is 7" diameter and the base is 101/2" diameter. It has not been used or tested.

Illumination is produced by 5 exposed bare bulbs in ceramic sockets and one socket centrally located behind the etched glass panels with mirrored accents. The fixture is 17" wide and 32" long. All sockets have been rewired with period appropriate cloth covered wire. One wire is solid white and the second wire is white with a gold tracer. All gold accents on the aluminum body have been repainted by hand. Bulbs not included and were used for display purposes only. I believe the chain and canopy are reproduction. Speed rings on the canopy accent the Art Deco design of the chandelier nicely. All glass panels are original. However. The do have some loss of silver and fleabites. There are no cracks or repairs. ART DECO Chandelier 5 Slip Shades + Drop-In Bottom Light ANTIQUE Peachy Glass

This very cool chandelier hung in a home near Cincinnati, but now it is here– selling on eBay. People’s lives change, sometimes beginning accidentally or ending unexpectedly. It is approximately 17” to 18” diameter. Being a five-shade fixture, one can measure it two or three different ways. It currently set up with a total drop of 16” when measured from the upper bell where the five chains meet, down to the bottom of the drop-in shade. Total drop from the ceiling is 27” but that is a meaningless measurement since links can be added or replaced at will. Even if you have a 24 foot ceiling in you breakfast ... morenook, all it takes is a trip to your local hardware store for chain and wire, and you can make it hang three feet above your table. The frame was painted brassy gold some years ago. And they did a great job. I’d say the fixture is spelter or some sort of strong metal other than brass or iron. That picture makes me wish I’d at least dusted it a little. See what I mean about the nice quality of the painted finish? The original wiring remains to the hub. But the wire from there up is of more recent vintage. It works. I’ve seen it all lit up. Notice a fragment of the maker’s label on top of the hub? I’ll bet I could find the name of the maker using that fragment. But I’m already so far behind there is little hope of every catching up. My yellow arrow points to a chip so shallow I can’t get a photo of it. It’s hidden anyway. There are also a few surface dings around the outer edges of the drop-in bottom shade. There again. Beautiful 1930's Aluminum& Brass Art Deco 2 Light Slip Shade Chandelier Ceiling Fixture with two(2) shades. The fixture is 16" tall and about 12"14" wide. This striking fixture is in very good condition. The wiring has been replaced. But not sure about the sockets, which are moveable, making it easier to change bulbs. There are a few small chips on the shades, mainly around mounting openings, as shown in pictures, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the chandelier. I did not see a maker's mark. Lenght is about 28" and width obout 11" Weight about 5 lbs. This needs a DETAILED cleaning that I will leave to the buyer to do as they wish. There are some oxidation spots. You might want to paint it. I'm no electrician, but I would re-wire it to be on the safe side. The bottom has a switch that turns.to turn the light on and off. Art Deco Lincoln Lighting Flush Ceiling Frosted Slip Shades Glen Falls Series
You are bidding on a Gorgeous Art Deco Lighting Fixture by Lincoln Mfg. of Detroit. C.1935 They had a contract with Sears for a few years and this is from the Sears Hi-Glo Lighting Catalog in the Glen Falls Series. This fixture is for a Flush Ceiling Mount or a Horizontal Wall Mount. You cannot hang this vertically or the slip shade will fall out. I have seen reproductions of this piece online and stated as reproductions. Based on the wiring of this piece I believe it's original. I would suggest due to the age of the wiring that you have it re-wired for your safety. Also the reproductions of this piece have not captured the color or patina that this lovely piece has. Truly a conversation piece. The original catalog listing lists it as"cast metal" gold colored finish. I have seen recommended for this fixture low heat LED bulbs which makes sense since it is a flush mount. This was one of the largest and most successful lighting companies in the U.S. One of these sconces has the original sticker; the sconces are in excellent all-original condition including the bronze gold color finish. These are historic fixtures because the Virden Company re-tooled its manufacturing during WWII for war production; the sconces represent a link to an important era in U.S. history, particularly with regard to womens history. This vintage. Markel 5-slip shade chandelier is original. It was manufactured by the Markel Electric Company sometime in the 1920-1930’s. The semi-flush mount chandelier has a classic Art Deco ziggurat. Skyscraper and foliates embellishments, as well as, striking light honey colored shell detailed slipper shades. I was advised by experts not to recondition the chandelier. Doing so would only devalue it. The piece has a beautiful aged patina. There are so small paint chips on the chandelier. One of the slip shades has a pin-hole size mark. This is to be expected of a fixture almost 90-years old. The chandelier has an aluminum frame and an iron canopy. This auction includes a set of two vintage small white art deco glass shades which have rough cut top and bottom rims. I have seen these type of shades on the old chrome wall sconce fixtures. They measure approximately 4 1/4" tall(one is slightly taller) By approximately 3" across the top openings. The smaller fitter ends measure just over 1 5/8" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the small fitter rims which is typical on rough cut shades. This listing is for ONE complete and very large sconce-the first three photos pictured. It includes a very nice vintage shade and the gold sconce/fitter which has been rewired. But I don't think is particularly old. It suits the shade well. Just a note-this glass also looks very good in a downward hanging lamp and came as well in a really huge size-the same pattern. The chandelier measures 16 ¾ inches or 42.5 cm high. And is 11 ¾ inches or 29.8 cm at its widest. The chandelier is in the art deco style with bold line work in its design. The chandelier has 5 light sockets around the outside edge with ribbed glass slip shades that mimic the style of the chandelier. The condition is as follows; it needs to be rewired. The patina has variations and some minor chipping to the inside edges of the shades where they sit in the fitter. Very nice set of 5 Art Deco Slip Shades Sconces. In good condition. They are frosted with a gold/brown accent of paint in the corners. Very hard to measure due to the curvature. It is 5.4 inches across at its widest point and 6.5 inches at its tallest point. There are a few little nicks on the edges that I have pictured. No chips or cracks. No discoloration. For your consideration is a beautiful. Scarce. Cast aluminum, American art deco chandler made between 1930 and 1935. This is not just a lovely slip shade fixture with slag glass but actually a highly sought after“brown-tipped” or“soleure” pattern five-light slip shade fixture. Somewhere along its 85 year journey the five slip shades were lost or broken and five light amber slag covers were put in. This chandelier looks fantastic with the slag but it you ever dream of having the brown-tipped chandelier. You will have everything but the five slip shades. Notice the lower center brown tipped shade is already provided. But if you never go for the brown-tips. You will find this chandelier with very intricate details and beautiful finial. It has 5 lights with 5 matching custard slip shades which also has tin/ metal shades for each slip shade. The metal base and canopy was painted a bronze/ brown and then there are the 5 slip shades which are a custard color glass and the shades for them are a tin or light metal. It's all original.the paint, the metal, the shades, etc, and works perfectly. The body of the light is pale cream and antique metallic gold with pink, blue, yellow, and green air brush painted flowers. The shades are thick glass that's been painted cream with airbru shed peachy-carmel accents on the inside. Leaving a 1/4" thick layer of clear, slightly iridescent glass to the outside.so pretty. As pictured. It hangs 30" down from the ceiling and is 20" wide. There is an adjustable ... morepole on the top that can be lowered further out of the ceiling cap. There is a 3-way switch giving you the option to have all lights on, all off, just the center on, or just the outer 5 lights on. As stated. The condition is very nice. There are a few light scuffs in the paint upon close examination, but nothing significant or overly distracting, with the exception of the scuffs on the ceiling cap(see pics) There is also some finish loss to a few links of the chain. Two of the five batwing shades were broken and repaired. The repairs appear stable, an d they are certainly usable. The last three pictures show the two damaged shades: 2 pictures of each shade lit; and a 3rd pic showing- Left: break down center and side. Center: undamaged shade for comparison, Right: break down center. All of the shades can be replaced, but I thought I'd leave that decision up the the new owner.
