I did not see any makers mark on it(perhaps a very faint one inside? but it acid tested as sterling silver. It has a braided type design surrounding the top of the funnel. No fractured sterling& it is a nice thickness. It is 1 1/4 inches tall and the funnel widens out to 3/4 of an inch. This is something no perfume collection should be without! I did notice a small chip in one spot ... moreabout in the middle. There is a ground glass stopper, looks to be in good condition, no chips that I could see. The lid is marked Sterling with a Hallmark underneath it and has an engraved monogram on top. It looks like there may be a tiny bit of perfume in the bottom. I didn't try to clean the inside. In the 1970's her house full of treasures was appraised at 36 million. She died in 1989 and most items went to auction. Her 3 sons split up the rest.
