The lid is huge and beutifully decorated. The hinge works perfectly and the sterling lid is secure to the bottle. The inside of the lid still retains it's nice gold wash. There is a dent to the lid as you will see in the photos. The bottle is free of chips. Cracks& repairs. However, whatever liquid used to be stored in this bottle has left a residue to the top 1/4 of the bottle. It has also left the rest of the bottle with an slightly iridescent cast to it. Very strange but you will see what I mean in the photos. This is one of those bottles you almost pass up but then just due to it's size and lovely details in the lid and cut glass you decide it's worth the trouble. I have not attempted to remove the"residue" so perhaps some of it will come off ~ I do not know. I have broken too many a bottle while trying to scrub them up. So now just a light dusting and if they are presentable- I leave the major cleaning to you. The bottle is heavy and I imagine just the silver lid alone would be worth a bit of money. The lid is 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across at the widest. Shoot. Just the lid is as big as some sterling silver bottles alone! The total height of the bottle(lid& glass) is 6 1/4 inches tall and the width across the widest part is 3 1/2 inches. Just so you know what a conversation piece it is.when my daughter asked what used to be in the bottle I told her it was probably"the potion of some Mad Victorian Era Scientist.maybe Frankenstien himself" I couldn't resist having a little fun at her expense. It measures approx. 6" high with the ribbed stopper that has a hand ground tip. The original Art Deco metal type foil label may have been gold tone at one time. It's embossed, EAU DE TOILETE, LE No 1" RALLET, New York, Paris(see more photos below) The bottom is embossed, RALLET, along with another round stamp(hard to detect, possibly Baccarat? The Deco pattern in brass is quite pretty with prong leaf shapes that accent the Embroidered Flower Center which is overlaid with a plastic coating. The glass is a dark purple almost black. The Stopper is accented with a rhinestone. The dabber on the stopper is plastic and is whole. The Perfume bottle is unbroken. However I would like to note that two of the brass leaves on the back of the bottle have been broken off due to age[please see photos] The size of this lovely diminutive piece is 1 1/2"across x 1 3/4" high. Estate sale find. In good vintage condition.Measures about 4 1/2" tall. I was told this was Sterling Silver. I can not find any markings. There is a 98 etched on the bottom of the stopper. I see a tiny flea bite on the stopper base when held in light. I did not feel it. There is 1906 and flowers in the design. It looks like maybe a monogram? There are no chips or cracks and very minor paint loss. She is 3 1/2" tall. Criss-Cut Pyramid Perfume This is a good-looking vintage perfume bottle. Likely from Czechoslovakia around the 1920s-30s. It is clear glass bottle with heavily faceted cut base and simpler stopper. The stopper is a bit loose-fitting and a may be a replacement. The base is pyramidal and faceted with an intricate criss-cross pattern. There are no maker's marks that I can find. The bottle does have significant chipping around the various points of the base. Still, it is a pretty piece with plenty of appeal. Here we have a unique miniature combination perfume bottle/ compact with blue/ clear stones. The set measures approx. 2" tall by 1 5/16" wide by 1 5/16" depth. The combination perfume/compact have blue and white oblong stones on front and on top of lid of the perfume bottle- mirror on inside of mini compact with another mirror on the outside of perfume bottle- compact does have the powder puff inside the compact. The perfume bottle is glass with a gold tone metal case. The compact case is also gold tone metal with matching stones to coordinate with stone on top of perfume bottle. The perfume is long gone but still has a strong scent of perfume that it once held. The gold tone on compact/ perfume bottle show some variance in color(as shown) so I am wondering if at one time the combination/ duo compact/ bottle were separate and ... moresomeone put the 2 together as one or if this is indeed the way it was made as one. Antique Victorian Bristol Art Glass Painted Perfume Bottle. Frosted white glass with hand painted white raised flowers. Both ground stopper and bottle are circled with small painted pink beads. Stopper is green frosted glass with crown on top of ball shape. Bottom of the bottle has pontif and along with the stopper are marked with handpainted mark. Bottle measures 5" tall and 7 1/2" complete to top of stopper. Around the top of the crown had gold gilt that has worn off in places. The lip of the bottle has dark lines and a spot that show up in the picture but are just marks and not chips or damage. There are some tiny chips around the end of the ground stopper as shown in photo. This listing features an exquisite OLD perfume figural bottle that has three etched flowers encircling the base with a faceted stopper and a pressed or cut in pattern in between the flowers(it is not cut glass) There are no chips or cracks but on the base there are two TEENY flakes which cannot be seen without a magnifier or felt- DOES NOT affect the display appeal or use. The stopper has no chips or cracks either. There are some small air bubbles which lends to it's age. The bottle is not marked as to maker as far as I can see. It stands with stopper inside approximately 5 1/8" tall. All items I sell are either vintage or antique. So, there may be some less than perfect condition factor. VTG DeVilbiss Green Glass Coin Spot Opalescent Perfume Bottle Marked Made USA
Here I have a Beautiful vintage green glass perfume bottle with opalescent dots. Coin Spot pattern. Missing the atomizer, most got hardened and were thrown out. Marked on the bottom: Made De Vilbiss USA in a silver tone ink. The glass is a soft. See through green glass, the"dots" are opalescent. When a black light is turned on the glass looks almost clear and the"dots" are yellow, this shows there is Uranium in the glass. See the photos. DeVilbiss had many companies that made his perfume bottles. Including Steuben, Imperial, Cambridge, Tiffin, Fry, Libbey and Vineland Glass Works. His network also circled the globe. The perfumes were categorized with a simple letter system, Series A, these were the less expensive ones that had a paper tag. This is why you will find DeVilbiss bottles with no name. The B Series were of higher ... morequality and were marked with gilt or silver lettering on the base, like this perfume bottle. I believe this to be a Fenton Coin Dot but have not found THIS bottle in any of my 4 Fenton books. 3 1/4" tall. 3 1/4" across the widest spot, has its brass fitting but no atomizer. Vtg 1930's Depression Era Art Deco Perfume Bottle with Tasselled Atomizer Amber
This is a vintage 1930's Era Art Deco Perfume Bottle with a Tasseled Atomizer. The bottle is Amber in color and has a ribbed design. The bottle measures 2 1/2" tall and is 2 1/4" wide at it's widest point. The yellow tasseled atomizer measures 10 1/2" long. The tassels and body of the atomizer is frayed a bit. Please see the photos above. When you squeeze the atomizer. The air is strong coming out of the bottle and has some perfume smell. It is light, but it does exist. Gorgeous antique perfume bottle. This one I almost kept for myself. It is absolutely gorgeous. This is an old perfume bottle where the perfume was applied with a glass wand. The angel is pulled out of the top and attached to the glass wand. The glass bottle can be removed from the base. This stands approximately 7 inches tall. 3 inches wide and weighs 1 pound 7 ounces! It is very heavy and sturdy. Gold leaf over what appears to be cast iron due to the weight. I was not able to find any markings on this piece. Simply Stunning. Sad to part with this one. Cracks or repairs to the bottle. It is 2 7/8 inches long/tall and 1 5/8 inches across at the widest part in the middle. My best guess would be that it is English or possibly French and c. early 1900's. It has a white background with pink roses and green foliage. The topper fits nicely atop the atomizer and doesn't have any missing or dented components. The atomizer pumps up and down as it should. But I didn't want to test it as there is a little bit of left over perfume at the bottom of the bottle. There is wear to the gold paint along the edges of the bottle, some thinning and spots where it has come off completely, the gold paint is 70% intact still. There are no chips or surface wear to the glass bottle.
