Here is a fantastic green glass perfume with silver overlay; it is antique. But has never yet been monogrammed; it is very pretty and free of any damage. It is one of three great little antique glass treasures listed. It has original stopper, which is also in fine condition. Total height is about 4" tall. Base is about 1' and widest belly about 2 1/2" Fabulous patina on silver, over top of the perfect shade of green; this bottle looks amazing in cabinet or on dresser for Valentines day. VICTORIAN TAPPERING CUT GLASS COBALT BLUE SILVER TOPPED PERFUME BOTTLE VICTORIAN TAPPERING CUT GLASS COBALT BLUE SILVER TOPPED PERFUME BOTTLE This Fine Victorian Tapering Cobalt blue Cut Glass Perfume Bottle has a fine Repause Silver Hinged Top and its Original Stopper although wedged in and partly Broken. This Stopper can of course be replaced. The Tapering Bottle Measures 5 ¼ inches in length and the Fine Silver Top which is shaped like a Crown with no dents. It seems there could be a very small band of Silver Missing at the bottom of the collar 0.2 of a cm. This is where the original Hall Marks would have been and would have been dated around 1895. Overall Condition is Very good with no Damage. Dents to the top and no chips to the glass. c1890 French ART NOUVEAU Silver CHATELAINE Perfume / Scent Bottle -Floral Design
From a local estate- Beautiful c1890 Silver Perfume or Scent bottle with repousse Art Nouveau floral design. The hallmarks are very tiny and difficult to read- 2 at the bottom edge and one on the lid or cap near the hinge(see last two photos) I believe they are French. The bottle contains its original tiny ground glass stopper and has a ring on the back for attaching to a chatelaine. Heavy for its size- will not easily dent. Weighs 18.8 grams. Measures 2 3/8 tall. Has a gold vermeil or gold wash inside the cap and stopper area. The bottle is in very good condition with few signs of wear. I found a few tiny dents- nothing that detracts or is easily noticed. I guarantee it to be silver and not plated. The last two photos have a yellowish tint but that is just the way the light reflects and NOT there in real life. 999/1000 SILVER, BETTER THAN STERLING, OVERLAY PERFUME BOTTLE
This bottle measures approximately 2 and 3/4 inches in height. I found the silver marks after shooting the pics. It is marked on a bottom loop. 999/1000. It also has an indeciperable makers mark. Note that both the bottom of the stopper and the bottom of the perfume bottle are etched with a number. The stopper has chips on the edge of the polished end. There are three fairly decent sized chips or cracks compared to the size of the stopper, though they are on the bottom/edge of the stopper. Scrolling foliate and petite flowers encompass the silver lid and collar. A blank cartouche tops the hinged lid, opening to reveal a gilt vermeil interior and a cut glass stopper. Hallmarked with the wild boar's head, a French standard for.800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content, close to.925 sterling. This a gorgeous Antique Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver overlay. The silver is thick and design lovely. It has old Hallmarks 925/1000 and Mark is readable as produced in Atteboro. Massachusetts by Saart Brothers in about 1906. Patented. The bottle measures a Large approx. 5 1/2" Tall X 3 1/2 inches high. The stopper is FREE of Chips. however looks like the interior stem has some cracks. Inside there is some crusty debrie which needs to be cleaned out. No dings! Stunning Antique English Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle / Flask
A wonderfully tactile scent flask. With it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge. The glass is a beautiful Emerald green fading to clear at the bottom of the flask. The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, Victorian in era. Vintage Victorian Indian ivory colour bone and silver Asian perfume bottle
I was given this as a gift 55 years ago by my aunt who had it even longer than that, and the only thing I know about it. Is, it's Ivory colour and silver, Victorian India. which makes it well over 130-140 years old I have never used it nor did my aunt. And doubt if her mother did. So it is a used unused item. I do not have good knowledge as to what texture with the silver it is but it is over 130 years old. No hallmark then. In India as there were no rules for hallmarking in those days and even now some parts still do not add hallmark.

It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. There is another mark before the lion and I think that is the maker's mark.possibly J.T. or J.J. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I even used a magnifier. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. Sterling Silver Overlay Perfume Bottle with Stopper, La Pierre??
Absolutely Beautiful Perfume Bottle with Silver Overlay- Possible La Pierre? This came out of an estate and is a really beautiful piece. It stands approximately 4 inches high and is approximately 2 1/4 inches at the widest section of the bottle. I could not get a picture close and clear enough to show the makers mark. But at the bottom of the neck(the section which is above and just to the right of the engraving nameplate) there is a"L" in cursive with a small cross slashmark on the"L" and then the word"sterling" right next to the"L" This marking appears to match the marking I found for the silver smith La Pierre who started his business in Newark. NJ in the late 1880's. I am not a silversmith and if you have any questions or would need further information, please get in touch and I'll do my ... morebest to help. Also. I did not clean or polish this peice and there are two flaws that I did see. One is a small hairline crack radiating from the bottom of the neck outward and is about 1/2 inch long. When the front of the bottle is facing you, it is up on the left hand side, a bit to the rear so it's not very noticable. The other possible issue is on the top of the stopper, there may be a very tiny peice of the silver design missing. I'm not sure since I'm not familiar with design, but there is an end of one of the decorative sections that has uplifted off the bottle a little bit. Nothing may be missing and it may just need to be glued, but I'm just trying to explain any possible issues that I saw. Overall. This is a really beautiful peice. There was no engraving on the front plate, so I presume you could have it engraved if you wanted to personilize it for your collection or maybe as a special gift for that certain collector! Beautiful antique ground glass perfume vial sterling silver top. Marked with the Birmingham hallmark, and the year mark of 1888. Made by the famous silversmith George Edwin Walton flask marked G.E.W Ld in a chamfered rectangle.The cork inside was dried out so it has been replaced with a fresh one that will make this little gem fully functional! Measures 6.8cm x 1.8cm. Please see the small flea bites to the bottom edge, very very minor, and a small ding to side of cap. Could use a good polishing, but will leave that to the buyer as I prefer my pieces to show their age. The shoulder of the flask and the bottom have been hand bevelled and the glass is substantial. Circa 1880 In wonderful condition. Not hallmarked as was so typical with these Antique Victorian scent bottles. The beautiful flat tubular glass is in lovely condition. The blue bottle is the most wonderful colour being the deepest of the cobalt shades with a hint of purple. With no chips or nibbles. The solid silver screw on lid has heavy repousse silver work of flowers& leaves. Absolutely stunning. I can feel a slight indentation to the lid where the tip of my finger rests when unscrewing the lid. This is very hard to see due to the ornate decoration to the lid. I mention for total accuracy. Vintage Antique? Silver Tone Small Ornate Flower Perfume Bottle - Glass Stopper
I don't really know anything about this piece. It appears to be a small metal perfume bottle with a glass stopper. There is a raised design on it that has flowers and leaves at the top and just some pretty designs towards the bottom half. I cannot get the top off and would be scared of breaking it to try too hard. So I cannot tell you what's inside, but it doesn't slosh or anything. I do not know if it is sterling silver or just a silver tone metal. It could be marked on the rim, but since I cannot get the top off, It does show some patina. And I wonder if at some time it had some kind of decorative cap over the glass stopper. It is fairly heavy and measures about 2 1/4 inches high. Seems to be in pretty good shape. Thanks for looking. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a GREEN GLASS Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Overlay and Matching Stopper. The sterling overlay is in a nice Art Nouveau design. No missing sterling overlay to the glass bottle but there is a tiny split in the overlay on the stopper which may represent a small piece missing. It's hard to tell and I never even noticed it until I inspected it closely for selling. There are a couple very small cracks in the neck and one thin hairline in the glass bottle towards the bottom half. Again. Due to the silver overlay it is very hard to see but I did try to photgraph it for you. The bottle does hold water so the hairline is obviously not entirely through the glass and just on the inside as it is smooth on the outside. The sterling overlay is of good ... morethickness and quality. It is also very secure and tight to the bottle. It does have a blank cartouche for engraving- there is no monogram. The stopper is in excellent condition with only a little roughness on the end but no chips or cracks. Estate sale find. In good vintage condition.Measures about 4 1/2" tall. I was told this was Sterling Silver. I can not find any markings. There is a 98 etched on the bottom of the stopper. I see a tiny flea bite on the stopper base when held in light. I did not feel it. There is 1906 and flowers in the design. It looks like maybe a monogram? A superb and very beautiful amethyst glass and silver gilt scent bottle from France. And dating from about 1860. The silver gilt mounts are finely engraved with foliage. And there is a fitted glass stopper. The body of the scent is elegantly shaped and the whole is beautifully designed and worked. The condition is excellent. Hinge is good. As is closure. The stopper fits perfectly. There are no dents in the silver gilt which is a lovely shade of pale gold. I can find no chips to the glass either. All together a wonderful scent to have in the hand. Measuring just 4" in length.

This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. Antique Hinged Perfume Bottle, Sterling Silver and Cut Glass; by Mappin & Webb
This gorgeous Victorian perfume bottle was made by the London silversmiths Mappin and Webb. Most likely in the late 1800's. The top is.925 sterling silver, and the bottle is cut class. It is in very good condition, with just a small amount of wear on the bottom of the glass and some chips on one side of the stopper grip. The metal and hinge are excellent. 3-1/4" tall x 2" diameter I tried to magnify the hallmarks inside the lid and on the outside of the cover. One shows what appears to be the sillouette of the Queen. The stopper is no longer present. However, the lid works perfectly and the bottle closes securely. Thomas Webb began manufacturing art glass in England in 1837. The firm exhibited their cameo glass at the Paris Exhibition with Tiffany's in 1899 and took the Grand Prize. This exquisite bottle would make a wonderful addition to either a collection of fine art glass or to a collection of perfume bottles. Up for auction is an antique green glass perfume bottle with sterling silver overlay designs. There is no monogram. The stopper is approx. 1.5 inches long. The bottle stands approx. 2.5 inches without the stopper and 3.5 inches with it. On the back of the neck below the rim it is stamped Sterling. I can not find any other marks. There is one very tiny either flaw or chip on the bottom, I really can't tell if it is a flaw in the glass or tiny chip as it is very hard to notice. It is about the size of tiny grain of pepper.
