Of thick cut crystal, likely old Baccarat, with ornate gilt ormolu collars and hinged lids. An added touch are the stunning cobalt blue enamel tops accented by charming gold gilt stars. In very good condition with general wear. There is a tight hairline in the enamel to one of the perfume bottles, perhaps a flaw in the making. Box measures 5" length x 3" width x 3 3/8" height. Description: A fine antique 19th century French silver and cut glass scent bottle. The glass body features an exquisite all over zipper cut patterning. An ornate repousse of rocailles. Scrolling foliate and petite flowers encompass the silver lid and collar. A blank cartouche tops the hinged lid, opening to reveal a gilt vermeil interior and a cut glass stopper. Hallmarked with the wild boar's head, a French standard for.800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content, close to.925 sterling. Antique French Victorian Palais Royal Perfume Box, c.1850
A beautiful shell and gilt metal articulated perfume casket. These were very popular in France from about 1840 to 1860. This one is in excellent condition: a small chip in the alabaster base. And the little glass stoppers are missing, but other than that-perfect! It opens with a spring mechanism: you push down on the leaf at the top and the two shells open to reveal the two perfume bottles inside. The bottles are very heavy for their size. So are probably crystal. Dimensions: 14.5 centimetres high. The base measures 6cm in diameter. A note about SHIPPING: yes. I will combine orders for one shipping price. Mottled glass such as this one is commonly attributed to Czech or Bohemian glasshouses, another possibility for this unmarked art glass. A superb and very beautiful amethyst glass and silver gilt scent bottle from France. And dating from about 1860. The silver gilt mounts are finely engraved with foliage. And there is a fitted glass stopper. The body of the scent is elegantly shaped and the whole is beautifully designed and worked. The condition is excellent. Hinge is good. As is closure. The stopper fits perfectly. There are no dents in the silver gilt which is a lovely shade of pale gold. I can find no chips to the glass either. All together a wonderful scent to have in the hand. ANTIQUE FRENCH CUT CRYSTAL PERFUME/SCENT BOTTLE IN GILDED CASKET
Here I have a gorgeous antique French perfume casket. The set includes four cut crystal bottles with faceted stoppers. The bottles rest in a gilded casket with a flower swag design. The cut bottles are are 1 3/4 inch square and just under 4 1/2 inches tall to top of faceted stopper. The casket base is aprox 4.25 inch square. For those of you who collect these caskets you must realize this is a large example. I would say this set is in very nice antique condition. One stopper is frozen in place and I would just leave it that way as you do not want to crack the neck off. I cleaned 3 of the bottles with the free stoppers and they display well with mild residue. The forth bottle with the frozen stopper has more and this can be seen in the photos. Some small edge nicks& stopper tip nicks. As you can see this is a very nice set and displays ... morevery well. An antique probably early 1900's French carved wooden. Locking perfume casket with 3 original gilt trimmed crystal perfume bottles. The brass mounted box shows"Odeurs Paris" on the top. The box measures 4 1/4" x 3" x 3 3/4" height. It is in very nice condition with no cracks or chips in the carving. The blue silk lined interior is relatively clean and free rips, stains or odors. The locking function works as long as the lid is held down firmly when locking or unlocking. Each of the gilt trimmed crystal bottles is 1 3/4" height to top of stopper. They are all clean and free of chips or residue. Some minor gold losses. Each bottle fits in its own separate compartment inside the box. Nice item for any dressing table or vanity. Starts low with no reserve.

Blown glass bottles wrapped with ORMOLU GILT w ith matching mirror tray framed in metal brass-like ornate design with French Provincial tassel-tie design. I cannot find any markings on any of the pieces- However. We were told from the estate where we found many treasures of amazing antiques that these perfume bottles with matching tray are said to have belong ed to the women's grandmother and from the late 1800's. These antique perfume bottles were found at an estate of a couple who traveled the world. Antique / Vintage French Perfume Decanter / Holder
From my Grandma's Estate is this beautiful French Perfume Decanter/Holder. Lavender/Purple in color. With many embellishments of Pearls, 1 large Amethyst and 3 smaller Amethysts. Although these"gems" are probably not real, I don't know for sure, as I never took it to a jeweler to find out. The setting for these embellishments is beautiful on it's own, with it's inticrate detailing; appears to be Brass or Gold. As depicted in the 4th photo. There is a slight bend in the glass of the stopper. There are also a few rough spots on the stopper. One rough spot is where the glass artist made the stopper; rough on the end of the stopper that goes into the decanter. There are, also, a few rough spots on the handle portion of the stopper. Very beautiful. And a lovely addition to any collection.

Each individual bottle is a different color(amber, blue, green and pink) and has a stopper with a glass dauber; three of the four daubers are broken. The fourth goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle but the stopper is stuck and I haven't soaked it to try to dislodge it. Ebay now has rules that all sellers MUST ship items for which they have been paid within one business day without exception. Those who follow my sales and have bought from me over the years know that I have always had a policy of shipping within 24 hours of a sale(see my feedback) However, there are times when I am out of town unexpectedly for a house call, an auction or an estate call and it simply is not possible to get to the post office in time. Also, if you find that there is more than one item you are interested in bidding on over a given time period and would like to take advantage of combined shipping, please again, DO NOT pay me until the last of those items you're watching has finished. I will then send you an invoice with an adjusted shipping fee which saves on postage. I never charge a"handling fee" I would rather wait a few days on a payment and extend you the advantage of lower shipping fees than to be paid immediately- not ship- and then be scored negatively by eBay for not shipping soon enough.
