Pair of German Satin Glass Perfume Bottles w Gold Vine Accents & Stoppers
This ia a Vintage Pair of Perfume/Cologne Bottles made in Western Germany. These were bought out of an Estate. They are from what I was told. Around 60 to 70 years old. They are in Excellent condition. All the Gilt work is hand done of Leaves& vines, with gold accenting the base2 gold bands around the center of the neck and around the top opening of the bottle. The stoppers are not chipped at all and are also embellished in Gold. The bottles are white satin glass and the stoppers are slightly frosted clear glass. They stand 7 3/4" tall and are 3 1/2" in diameter at their widest point. One bottle has part of a Western Germany sticker and the other has the full sticker. No Chips, Bites or repairs. Antique Pefume Bottle Cut Glass & Gold, Original Fitted Case, Dutch 19C (#3232)
Exquisite Dutch antique gold mounted. Cut glass or crystal perfume/ scent bottle with engraved gold mounts and lid. Comes in original fitted box/ case. Made in The Netherlands, 19th century. Bottle measures 4 1/2 inches. Case is 4 3/4 inches. Perfume bottle made of fabulously cut glass. Possibly crystal. Widens towards the top. Stands on a narrow, petite base, mounted in a gold band. Panels of starbursts, in graduating size, according to the width of the bottle, seperated by very deeply cut, faceted borders. The shoulders are encased in a gold mount that entirely covers the tapering neck, leading to a hinged, elongated bulbous lid. The gold is finely engraved with foliage and has a delicate filigre border. Inside is original glass stopper, in unusually good condition. Gold is hallmarked on each area: the base. The shoulders, the lid. Overall ... morecondition of both glass and gold is very good. The perfume bottle comes in it's original. Fitted box/case, in form, reminiscent of a mummy's sarcophagus. The inside has one velvet and one silk side. The latter finished off with a finely twisted cord. The outside is original leather. Sturdy metal hinge. A metal hook holds it closed. The case is in good condition. A knowledgeable and kind lady from Holland emailed me: I identified the makers mark on the above mentioned perfume bottle as being from Hendricus Jacobus Murk. Up for Auction! Estate Sale Purchase Beautiful vintage Czechoslovakian blue glass perfume bottle with applied enamel flowers and beautiful gold gilt. I believe it to be a Moser creation as a while back I sold a decanter set identical to this and marked Moser. Great unique design in very nice condition. I don't see any wear to the gold but you may see something I'm missing. Bulb is hard and does not squeeze but displays well. Circa: 40'50's 6-3/4" tall. 4" across the middle and 2-1/2 at the base. You are looing at a pair of antique hand blown and hand painted vanity/perfume bottles. The glass is white with gold hand painted decoration. The items measure 3 1/2" tall without the stopper and about 5" tall with the stopper. At the items widest point they measure approx. 2 1/2" As you can see in the pictures there is some ware of the gold as well one bottle has a small chip that was glued back to the item.
