Stunning Antique English Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Perfume Bottle / Flask
A wonderfully tactile scent flask. With it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge. The glass is a beautiful Emerald green fading to clear at the bottom of the flask. The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, Victorian in era. The makers initials CM are present for the silversmith, Charles May. Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/4" x 3" x 1" at widest. This highly collectible French crystal perfume bottle is in very good condition. Free of chips or cracks. For the most part, the inside of the bottle is fairly clean. It measures approx. 6" high with the ribbed stopper that has a hand ground tip. The original Art Deco metal type foil label may have been gold tone at one time. It's embossed, EAU DE TOILETE, LE No 1" RALLET, New York, Paris(see more photos below) The bottom is embossed, RALLET, along with another round stamp(hard to detect, possibly Baccarat? Here I have a gorgeous antique French perfume casket. The set includes four cut crystal bottles with faceted stoppers. The bottles rest in a gilded casket with a flower swag design. The cut bottles are are 1 3/4 inch square and just under 4 1/2 inches tall to top of faceted stopper. The casket base is aprox 4.25 inch square. For those of you who collect these caskets you must realize this is a large example. I would say this set is in very nice antique condition. One stopper is frozen in place and I would just leave it that way as you do not want to crack the neck off. I cleaned 3 of the bottles with the free stoppers and they display well with mild residue. The forth bottle with the frozen stopper has more and this can be seen in the photos. Some small edge nicks& stopper tip nicks. As you can see this is a very nice set and displays ... morevery well. DESCRIPTION: This pretty little perfume bottle stands 6.5” tall. The bottom has an acid etched circle that says“Made in Czechoslovakia. The circle is extremely faint. And I could not photograph it clearly. The bottom portion is cut crystal. It’s triangular, with diamonds cut on each of the triangle’s three points. The dauber is beautiful, with roses and scrolls, but sadly, it is not perfect. There is a smooth flake chipped off the back-side of the top– there’s a pic that shows this clearly, and I think there may be something missing at the dabbing end. Gorgeous& very rare antique perfume bottle/ flacon. Produced by Baccarat for the house of Grenoville for their scent Bluet, later used for other Grenoville scents. The four sided rectangular bottle has clear Cathedral panels on each side with dividing sections moulded with what appears to be wheat stalks, the stopper is gorgeously rendered with a large central floral blossom with a background of leaves& closed buds. Excellent near mint condition on bottle( microscopic chip to very tip of stopper& some small chips on end of stopper tongue. Part that goes into bottle) Small chunk/ chip on base of bottle that shows very slightly. Labels have darkened but is entirely original& intact. It is the thick embossed foil that could polish up by I left it alone as I like the original, genuine aging process& qualities of the items we offer. Wear to both boxes, primarily small box is missing the interior linings& the large box is very good but fragile condition( needs some restoration) Considering the age& silk material. They are in amazing but imperfect condition. The lock& key are original& functioning. Originally this had the perfume, a powder, and a travel soap. This is a set of antique. 999, sterling silver overlay, art nouveau, perfume bottles. To our knowledge. They are Alvin Sterling Silver with the low numbers of 3104, fine. We're assuming they are rare. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamo uneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor. Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence. Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. The largest measures 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter with original stopper. The second to largest one that's very wide and flat measures approximately 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" diameter with original stopper. The stopper is the one ... morethat's chipped. The top says"GB" in script. The bottom has the hallmark 3104 Fine with the A between two other markings. The stopper has the#53 on the end of the top and 52 on the bottle bottom. My Mom passed away suddenly on October 19th of 2011 and. After a year of selling, this is the last of what was her estate. As much as I wanted to keep things in the family, my brothers have no interest in most items, and my husband and I just don't have the room. My Mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great aunts were all collectors, and I seem to have inherited that gene. Unfortunately, we live in a retirement community, and even after having several sales on eBay, I still can't find a place for much of what we have. This is a gorgeous antique crystal perfume bottle that sat on my Moms dresser for many years. It is six sided both on the stopper and the base. The stopper has an engraved or etched floral design on 4 of the six sides. It measures 2 1/2" alone. The base is also six sided and has a floral design carved deep into two of the sides. The base alone is 2 1/8" Together they measure 3 7/8" high. I see no makers marks. I cannot stress how impressive. How feminine and how unique this bottle is. The only thing I see that is not perfect is a very small chip on the inside of one side of the stopper. I only noticed it on close examination. Because of this small flaw I am starting the auction price low. I am happy to combine shipping.

This bottle is cut crystal and has a gorgeous repousse sterling silver hinged top featuring a pair of doves. It is hallmarked around the neck of the bottle with William Comyns stamp. The Silver Standard Mark, the London, England City Mark, the Date Letter of 1889. And the Duty Mark of Queen Victoria the I. The bottle is 5 1/4" tall and 4" across. There is a small push button on the front which keeps the bottle securely closed. There is no inner stop. There is a bit of staining on the inside of the bottle and it still has a beautiful lingering scent of the last perfume kept inside it. The bottle has a hobnail cut crystal body. This crystal and silver perfume bottle is quite an extraordinary turn of the century piece. The silver has some very intricate decoration all created and stamped by hand. The word"May" is stamped into the silver- large enough to see and read easily. At the lower part of the bottle. In the silver is stamped"PATENTED- 19- 999/1909" There is also a hallmark which I am not able to identify. The"999" is the purity of the silver. The"1909" is the date it was created. On the very bottom of the bottle etched into the crystal is what looks like the number"188" The piece is in overall excellent shape- it is tarnished only and would clean up really well. This really is a very impressive antique bottle.

Perfume scent bottle has four crosshatched pinwheel floral circles with a thumbprint center. The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. The top monogrammed ... moresurface of the sterling lid is slightly dented with four pinpoint holes in the silver. Lid snaps shut. Cut crystal stopper has a bit of roughness to its top edge and minor use wear marks on the frosted stopper surface. Bottom of the bottle has a hand etched number 43. Mark H M is seperate cartouches is for Henry Matthews. Other mark indicates 1894. Measures 5.5" tall and aprox 2.5" square. Has petite ground cut stopper. Bottom star cut. Excellent condition. Needs polished. Glass is clear. Not cloudy or etched with past contents. I polished the top ... moreof dome to expose top for an accurate description report. Ever so slight shallow crease/dent. Very tiny. See pic. The extreme corner on bottom crystal has a miniscule nip. See last picture. Truly exceptional and oh so beautiful. Weighs 1 pound 3& 3/8ths ounces. Antique Frosted Crystal Glass Perfume Bottle w Cork Stopper Lalique?
This antique bottle is amazing. I think it's an antique perfume bottle but I have never seen another one like it. It's clearly very old. Probably turn of the century and it even has a cork stopper. The stopper itself is really stunning with frosted glass that looks like Lalique glass. It measures 4.5" tall and is in excellent condition!
