The lid is huge and beutifully decorated. The hinge works perfectly and the sterling lid is secure to the bottle. The inside of the lid still retains it's nice gold wash. There is a dent to the lid as you will see in the photos. The bottle is free of chips. Cracks& repairs. However, whatever liquid used to be stored in this bottle has left a residue to the top 1/4 of the bottle. It has also left the rest of the bottle with an slightly iridescent cast to it. Very strange but you will see what I mean in the photos. This is one of those bottles you almost pass up but then just due to it's size and lovely details in the lid and cut glass you decide it's worth the trouble. I have not attempted to remove the"residue" so perhaps some of it will come off ~ I do not know. I have broken too many a bottle while trying to scrub them up. So now just a light dusting and if they are presentable- I leave the major cleaning to you. The bottle is heavy and I imagine just the silver lid alone would be worth a bit of money. The lid is 2 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/2 inches across at the widest. Shoot. Just the lid is as big as some sterling silver bottles alone! The total height of the bottle(lid& glass) is 6 1/4 inches tall and the width across the widest part is 3 1/2 inches. Each shaker measures 4" high and ... moreabout 2" in diameter at the widest part. The lids have a couple of very small dents. The salt lid looks like someone couldn't open it, and used some sort of tool to grip the lid, causing little dents on opposite sides of the lid, just above the threads. The salt shaker also has a couple of very tiny flakes at the edge of the base, and the pepper shaker has a little bump just above the bottom, which occurred in the molding of the glass. These shakers were molded, then cut, and there are several very tiny imperfections in the making, which can be seen with close examination using a magnifying glass. Some of these are shown in the photographs, but they are hard to see. If you have any questions. Or need more information, please don't hesitate to ask before bidding. Beautiful 40 piece lot of old pressed and cut glass decanter/perfume/cruet stoppers. There is a nice large variety here. This was a great estate find! There are all kinds of shapes. Sizes, and colors. Great for any collectors. Some have some rough edges to the stopper end that does not show when you have it in the bottle. One amber does have a larger chip, it is shown in the last picture. Please look at all of the pictures closely. The largest measures 2 3/4" high by 2" wide. The smallest is 1 1/8" high by 1" wide. Vintage I W Rice cut glass perfume bottle. This was my mother-in-laws and I got from her in the late 1970's. Heavy clear glass with original stickers still attached. The piece is square in shape with the bottom smaller than the top. I have had in a box all of these years. The piece is in good vintage condition with one small chip on the top of the stopper. The piece measures 2 1/8 inches across the top and 1 3/8 inches across the bottom. The piece stands 5 inches tall. The bottle has no cracks or chips and has ornate detail top to bottom. It stands 6 1/4" tall and the stopper itself is 1 3/4" long by itself. The stopper has patina from age that I did NOT remove or polish to leave it for the buyer to do as they wish. Vintage Pink Crystal Glass Czechoslavakian Perfume Bottle Intaglio Cut Stopper This auction is for a lovely old pink perfume bottle and stopper from the art deco era measuring 3.75 inches high. The stopper alone. With figural cutting on one side, measures 3 inches high. The base is almost 2 inches across. The bottle has a bit of a curve on the upper edge that is smooth to the touch. It may have been ground. The picture shows how slight it is. There is also a slight indent in the glass from manufacturing on the inside rim where some perfume has settled. This is also slightly visible in the close up picture. The bottom of the glass is nicely ground and I do not see any maker writing or scratches. Circa 1900-1940 Art Deco Up for sale are 2 matching old vintage antique crystal Art Deco style perfume bottles. They are hand blown and then hand or wheel cut crystal bottles. The tops are spectacular with 3 circles on top of each other cut with a ribbed design on both sides. The circles are then framed with a ribbed scrolled border. The bottles themselves are round and have circular rayed designs all around the bottom. The bases are clear. But you can see the breakoff from the yoke when hand blowing the bottle. Each bottle and top weighs in at 13 ounces each. With the top in) They are exquisite and measure in at almost 7 1/2 inches tall. You are bidding on a gorgeous 1930's Art Deco perfume scent bottle measuring 7 1/4" in height and 4" across the widest part. It is believed to be from Czechoslovakia. But I'am not totally sure of its' origin. All sides, including stopper, are cut, ground, and beveled. The bottle and stopper are diamond shaped(Rhombus) with a teardrop form reservoir for the perfume or cologne. The color is a rich-looking deep amber. Condition is excellent- no damage or flaws. I bought this perfume bottle in the 70's at an antique store. Not sure of exact age or if a reproduction. But it has some nice carved glass on stopper and bottle to depict A flower on front and back of bottle and two flowers each on front and back of stopper. No chips or cracks. The stopper has a plastic piece in the bottom that may be removed and perfume put in the top stopper as well. It is funny. Gorgeous! Vintage Art Deco Boudoir Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle
This is a gorgeous heavy crystal sparkly vintage perfume bottle- measuring 7" high. It is in lovely condition but does have some minor chipping around the base and some small nicks on the stopper. However. None of the chips are noticeable at all(I had to inspect this twice to see them) nor do they take away from the beauty of the bottle. My pictures do not do this justice! These items are part of an estate sale. I am by no means an antique connoisseur. But I will be listing quite a bit of collectibles and antiques in the upcoming months from my mother's estate. VIntage Irice Pink Intaglio Cut Glass Floral Design Perfume Bottle
This perfume bottle belonged to my mother-in-law and was purchased in the 1950s. The pink glass bottle is an interesting diamond shape that has been hand cut with a floral design on two sides. It measures about 4.75 inches tall including the atomizer. With each side of the base under 2 inches. There is an original label on the back side. It is very worn. But you can see a partial"rice" logo in script with a magnifying lens. The gold top(brass? atomizer is discolored around the base that screws to the top of the bottle. I am not sure if this can be polished or is permanent. It still has remanents of the original perfume inside. And has never been cleaned. The winning bidder will pay $8.95 for shipping and packaging.
