This Stopper can of course be replaced. The Tapering Bottle Measures 5 ¼ inches in length and the Fine Silver Top which is shaped like a Crown with no dents. It seems there could be a very small band of Silver Missing at the bottom of the collar 0.2 of a cm. This is where the original Hall Marks would have been and would have been dated around 1895. Overall Condition is Very good with no Damage. Dents to the top and no chips to the glass. Each bottle is triangular shaped and fits perfectly into its own section in the black leather case. The glass bottles are cranberry, green, clear and yellow. Each has a facetted stopper, but I think that one of stoppers may be a replacement. The leather strap on the back of the case is, unfortunately, broken but could easily be repaired with some leather glue. This auction is for an Antique Victorian Perfume Bottle. This piece is Forest Green Glass and has a glass stopper that is shaped like a crown. The bottle is a forest green glass and fits nicely into a small purse that fits the perfume bottle perfectly. It is a pale brown leather and shows normal signs of wear. The bottle is mint the stopper has a couple of tiny chips on the base of the stopper. The top of the stopper has no damage. It is a very small purse size piece. It is trimmed out in gold and the clasp on the purse latches properly. The leather of the purse is soft and supple. It is 4" long. The bottle is 3" tall. Offered for auction is an old Victorian glass vial with its original stopper. These are called lachrymatories or tear catchers. From what I've researched there are several stories to go along with these. The most common one is during the Victorian era. At a more upscale funeral these vials were handed out to save the tears you've shed for the deceased. When the tears are collected in the vial, the stopper would be put in. Once the tears completely evaporated meant the end of the mourning period. This vial is found in great condition with no chips or cracks. It measures 7" with the stopper. 6 3/4" without. Some of the gold guild is gone, and some faded. The stopper is original to this vial. It looks like the end of it is a bit rough, it may have a small piece broken off. Two sides of this vial have x's that are etched ... morein and trimmed in gold. Also on those same sides in-between the x's are indentions for your fingers. Antique Victorian Cornucopia Perfume Bottle - Cut Glass Sterling
This little perfume bottle has a small loop under the hinge which means that it once dangled from a chatelaine. Now one can string it on a chain or silk chord and wear it as a pendant. The glass part is cut in a pattern of alternating zippers and ribs and apart from a couple of tiny"nibbles" it is free of chips. Cracks or hairlines. The inside stopper is still there and- miracle of miracles- it is not chipped. There is one very small shallow dent in the top of the flip-cap. The hinge is original. The collar at the top is marked sterling. All in all the perfume bottle is in great antique condition. Dimensions: 3 inches long- 5/8" acroos at the widest part The item comes from a smoke-free home but I have a cat. I recycle clean shipping material.

Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Perfume Dresser Bottle Ruffle Stopper
Lovely Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Decanter/ Perfume Bottle with Matching Ruffle Rim Stopper. This is a lovely cologne/ decanter/ bottle. The glass is white milk glass which has a matt satin finish on the outside. It stands 9 3/4" tall with stopper in place and bottle is 6 1/4" tall. The stopper is really great with deep scalloped ruffle that folds up and down. There is the tiniest nick on one rim edge of stopper which is shown in photo#5. More felt than seen unless looking with magnifier and a few rough spots on the bottom end. No nicks or chips to the bottle, normal imperfections found with old hand blown glass. Photos show all detail well. The bottle is decorated with lovely floral of warm earthy colors with gold gilt accent. The bottom has blue enameling that shades from light to dark. It has accent beading around ... morethe stopper top and bottle neck is decorated as well. The back is not decorated. Each piece has the same enameled number which was common for early Victorian glass to keep matching fitted parts in order. Very nice condition for a bottle more than 100 years old, c.1870-1890. The Bottle is the only Mercury Glass example I have ever sold and one of the finest Victorian Perfume Bottles I have ever sold. The Bottle features a very nice Solid Silver Repousse Hinged Lid and mounts with the Body being cut in an amazing Optical Pattern giving the Mercury a wonderful appearance. The lid is unmarked as far as I can see but has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 800 Grade(80% Pure) Solid Silver. The Bottle is in excellent all original condition. The pin in the hinge of the lid has broken off it needs to be removed and replaced but this can be done by any jeweler, I simply don't have time. There are no chips, cracks or repairs but we also could not remove the inner glass stopper. The Bottle is a large and impressive example measuring 4" long by 1-3/4" wide. This is a rare find for the collector of Perfume Bottles or Mercury Glass and I don't think you will find another up for auction any time soon, especially with no reserve! RARE Vintage Victorian Spiral Perfume Bottle Sterling Cap Art Glass 10.5 inches
This is a rare and wonderful old Victorian perfume or cologne bottle. The spiral bottle is in excellent condition. The sterling lid has three dings. According to the hallmarks. The bottle was made in London in 1883 by S. Mordan and Co. Lmt. The piece measures 10 1/2 inches from top to bottom. A beautiful and very stylish late nineteenth century scent bottle with a globe base and elegant lock neck. All beautifully cut. The glass is a stunning and highly sought-after blue colour graduating to clear at the base of the bottle. The screw-top lid is made from English sterling silver, hallmarked for Birmingham 1896, making this a true Victorian example. The makers mark is also present CM for the silversmith, Charles May. The top of the lid has a vacant circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize it. The interior of the lid is cork-filled, to prevent evaporation of the precious contents. Excellent condition, measuring 8" tall x 3 3/4" max. Antique Victorian Bristol Art Glass Painted Perfume Bottle. Frosted white glass with hand painted white raised flowers. Both ground stopper and bottle are circled with small painted pink beads. Stopper is green frosted glass with crown on top of ball shape. Bottom of the bottle has pontif and along with the stopper are marked with handpainted mark. Bottle measures 5" tall and 7 1/2" complete to top of stopper. Around the top of the crown had gold gilt that has worn off in places. The lip of the bottle has dark lines and a spot that show up in the picture but are just marks and not chips or damage. There are some tiny chips around the end of the ground stopper as shown in photo. This was my great grandmas perfume bottle so it's at least 100 years old and most likely much older. It is in mint condition with no cracks or flaws. The dauber has a unique glass round beading and the bottle is decorated with more of a cone bead work. The dauber may possibly be chipped but i am honestly unsure.

This is a beautiful cranberry glass barber's bottle with an open pontil. It is likely from the late 1800's. It is marked on the bottom. Though I am not sure who the maker is. I cannot find any damage on this beautiful piece! It is approximately 8 1/2" tall with the stopper and approximately 6 1/4" without. It has a 2 1/4" diameter at the bottom and is approximately 3 1/2" wide at the middle. One has glass in the neck, the opening does not go all the way through so it is not usable as a bottle. No chips or cracks, some wear to the gilt decoration. The other piece is a rectangular vase. Beautiful Victorian Clear Glass Footed Perfume Bottle Floral and Foliate Brass Overlay Design Stopper with Brass Flower Top For Your Old Perfume Bottle Collection Details Description: This is a gorgeous clear glass perfume bottle with a tight fitting stopper having a glass dipping rod. The bottle which is made of clear glass. Has around squat shape and the stopper has a brass top in the shape of a bursting flower. The bottle has a nice brass overlay with a solid round base and four feet on which the bottle rest. The brass overlay is shaped in a beautiful floral and foliate design with the flowers being on the bottom and the foliate being on the sides and top of the bottle. The bottle has a round recessed base with the round brass ring holding the feet sitting right on its edge. The bottle has rounded sides which flares outwardly then back ... moreinwardly and tapers at a round neck where the stopper would fit. The whole piece has beautiful decorative appearance and is very much Victorian in design. The brass stopper has a glass dipping rod in its center which goes down about 2 two third of the way to the bottom of the bottle. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1800 to early 1900s. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Size: The bottle measures ~3' in diameter at its widest and is ~5 1/8" high with the stopper inserted. The bottle weighs about 8 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmarked. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: The piece has a nice shape with very interesting brass overlay and a beautiful and unusual brass stopper. This is a pretty vintage German lay down perfume scent bottle made of mercury glass in white with blue. Orange, green swirls. There is gold glitter in some of the swirls. Circa 1930's. The metal crown cover is attached to a piece of cork and it unscrews. The cover has some tarnish that is expected from aging. 2 1/4" tall and just under 1 1/2" wide. Antique, RARE Ruby Red Glass Victorian Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver
Beautiful. Rare and elegant, with faceted glass and ornate repousse silver hinged flip top lid. Glass is hand-blown and a rich ruby red found in decorative glass pieces of the Victorian era. These bottles first appeared in the late 1700's, but it wasn't until the mid-1800's that they were in general use. Their popularity waned during the late 1800's, but they continued to be made until the turn of the century. This item is in excellent condition, the silver carved hinge lid in perfect working order, with only a slight unevenness to the silver caused by opening and closing the lid and a slight patina to the silver. The faceted glass has a few nicks, but overall, it is in perfect shape. The bottle may have been worn around a lady's neck, as was the style of the age. Generally, a customer purchased the perfume bottle empty ... moreand had it filled by a chemist or perfumier, as ready-filled bottles of perfume were not yet on the market. This one contains a remnant of the owners' original perfume content, now a dried out solid. Excellent, low price for high value, rare piece- check out similar items being sold on the web. Bottle measures approx. 2 3/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide at its widest part. Silver clasp top is approx. 7/8 of an inch in diameter.

VICTORIAN GLASS DRESSER BOTTLE WITH GOLD DECOR c1890
This is a hand blown and hand decorated glass dresser bottle with a polished base. The bottle measures 8" tall with a 4" diameter base and being 5" in diameter at the widest part. It comes with the original stopper which has the same gold pattern as the bottle. There is a flea bite chip at the point of the stopper but not easily visible. The condition is good considering is age and use. There are no cracks or damage. A lovely bottle for your dresser.
