This is an antique late 1800's to early 1900's perfume/cologne/tonic/barber bottle with a metal dabber top. The glass is a beautiful textured and decorated artful piece. It measures 4-1/2" high by 1-1/2" X 2" wide and deep. It has a rose type embossed emblem on the bottom but doesn't have any names or numbers on it. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a beautiful Lavender Cut to Clear Glass Perfume Bottle. This lavender color is so rare that it is hardly ever seen. The bottle is in amazing condition with no chips or cracks. And I have inspected it pretty closely and can't even find a fleabite! The metal syphon tube seemed to short so I imagine a piece of it broke off at some point. I have repaired this by adding a plastic syphon tube on the end so it will now extend all the way to the bottom of the bottle for use. I believe the collar and atomizer are brass and the collar is stamped with"Czechoslovakia" which I have tried to photo for you. I have don a quick rinse out of the major debris for you but it could use a little more detail cleaning. There is some wear to the brass as you ... morewould expect for age but nothing more& still very shiney. It will need a new cord& bulb and I can see no reason it wouldn't work once those items are added. The bottom is smoothed flat and I have left the original old-time tag on it. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a Very Rare c1860 Victorian Silver and Mercury Glass Scent or Perfume Bottle. The Bottle is the only Mercury Glass example I have ever sold and one of the finest Victorian Perfume Bottles I have ever sold. The Bottle features a very nice Solid Silver Repousse Hinged Lid and mounts with the Body being cut in an amazing Optical Pattern giving the Mercury a wonderful appearance. The lid is unmarked as far as I can see but has been tested and is guaranteed to be at least 800 Grade(80% Pure) Solid Silver. The Bottle is in excellent all original condition. The pin in the hinge of the lid has broken off it needs to be removed and replaced but this can be done by any jeweler, I simply don't have time. There are no chips, cracks or repairs but we also could not remove the inner glass stopper. The Bottle is a large and impressive example measuring 4" long by 1-3/4" wide. This is a rare find for the collector of Perfume Bottles or Mercury Glass and I don't think you will find another up for auction any time soon, especially with no reserve! This is a rare and wonderful old Victorian perfume or cologne bottle. The spiral bottle is in excellent condition. The sterling lid has three dings. According to the hallmarks. The bottle was made in London in 1883 by S. Mordan and Co. Lmt. The piece measures 10 1/2 inches from top to bottom. Ohio. An extremely similar one signed Libbey appears on page 137 in the rarities section of Pearson's book A Study Of American Cut Glass Collections. It is also shown on page 50 of his Volume#2 book. My piece has cobalt blue color glass cased over clear glass on the bottle and a black overlay stopper. The piece in the books is said to just have a black glass overlay. The bird that I believe is a peacock; looks to be identical and the 2 swirled balls ... morematch also. The only real difference that I see beside the color is that my stopper is longer near the top and mine does not appear to be signed. Similar cut to clear pieces appear in the Fauster's Libbey Glass book and they give me the impression that this piece was probably made in the 1920's or 1930's. It measures 8-1/2" high and the base is 2-3/8" in diameter. The weight is 8.7 ounces. The blank is blown with a polished pontil on the bottom. The unpolished or frosted peacock and plant cutting has good depth and nice detail work. The peacock is a common ingredient in many Art Nouveau style items. The overall condition is excellent. The stopper fits very well and sits at an appropriate level. The stopper and dauber look to be perfect except for a pinpoint sized nick that is probably an exposed bubble with a swirl of minute bubbles next to it where the pontil was polished on top. The bottle is in great condition and I would call it near perfect. The interior looks good, but to be picky I'll mention some scratches where the dauber has rubbed. These can only be seen if you hold it up to bright light and look closely for them. This piece could appeal

We can only guess now. It is completely hand cut. Every edge is cut and polished including the front and back face. Even the bottom foot was formed by cutting and polishing the glass. The Carousel makes for a beautiful display standing approx 8-1/2" tall by 5-3/4" wide and the Bottles are 3" tall by 1-3/4" wide. So not going to try straighten, and I would not suggest anyone trying, because it might break and besides it is so beautiful that you cant see it unless you pick it up and look it over. Some dust on the inside of the glass bottles. I will leave that for the new owners to clean. Because of age I don't want to mess it up. But I beleive it can be washed. Antique, RARE Ruby Red Glass Victorian Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver
Beautiful. Rare and elegant, with faceted glass and ornate repousse silver hinged flip top lid. Glass is hand-blown and a rich ruby red found in decorative glass pieces of the Victorian era. These bottles first appeared in the late 1700's, but it wasn't until the mid-1800's that they were in general use. Their popularity waned during the late 1800's, but they continued to be made until the turn of the century. This item is in excellent condition, the silver carved hinge lid in perfect working order, with only a slight unevenness to the silver caused by opening and closing the lid and a slight patina to the silver. The faceted glass has a few nicks, but overall, it is in perfect shape. The bottle may have been worn around a lady's neck, as was the style of the age. Generally, a customer purchased the perfume bottle empty ... moreand had it filled by a chemist or perfumier, as ready-filled bottles of perfume were not yet on the market. This one contains a remnant of the owners' original perfume content, now a dried out solid. Excellent, low price for high value, rare piece- check out similar items being sold on the web. Bottle measures approx. 2 3/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide at its widest part. Silver clasp top is approx. 7/8 of an inch in diameter.

Many of the older bottles are made of glass. Newer bottles are made of plastic. This bottle is glass and hallmarked Made in France on the bottom. The drilled hole in the bottom was to anchor the bottle to the counter. The stopper is only for appearance and does not come out. No chips. Cracks or repairs. Approx. 4 1/2" tall x 3 1/2" round. A must have for any collector as these are very hard to find!

Each individual bottle is a different color(amber, blue, green and pink) and has a stopper with a glass dauber; three of the four daubers are broken. The fourth goes all the way to the bottom of the bottle but the stopper is stuck and I haven't soaked it to try to dislodge it. The bottles are shaped in a manner that allows them to fit snugly in their"nest" that is, one side is rounded and the other two sides are flat(see photos) Each bottle measures 3 3/4" in length, and when in their holder, the ensemble is just over 4" tall. In ... moreall my years of dealing I have never seen another like this and when trying to do a bit of reasearch on it I found a Perfume Bottle in Antique Trader Perfume Bottles Price Guide with a value of $4000-$5000 with the same T&B Austria Paper Label. The Box features very thick Black Glass with what I believe is Carved Stone but maybe Glass made to look like Stone as well as what appears to be Carved Jade Stone feet. The Box is very elegant and exudes quality. Much more impressive than my photos show. The Box is in very good condition with a couple small chips to the lid and one crack to the Green"Stone" accents. The Box is also a great size for use or display measuring 4-3/4" long by 3-3/4" wide and sits 2-3/4" tall. I was not able to find out anything about the Maker, T&B Austria but it is certainly worth looking into them.
