From a local estate- Beautiful c1890 Silver Perfume or Scent bottle with repousse Art Nouveau floral design. The hallmarks are very tiny and difficult to read- 2 at the bottom edge and one on the lid or cap near the hinge(see last two photos) I believe they are French. The bottle contains its original tiny ground glass stopper and has a ring on the back for attaching to a chatelaine. Heavy for its size- will not easily dent. Weighs 18.8 grams. Measures 2 3/8 tall. Has a gold vermeil or gold wash inside the cap and stopper area. The bottle is in very good condition with few signs of wear. I found a few tiny dents- nothing that detracts or is easily noticed. I guarantee it to be silver and not plated. The last two photos have a yellowish tint but that is just the way the light reflects and NOT there in real life. 1850s French Enamel Perfume Bottle w/ Gold & Floral Pattern Lay Down Victorian
WELCOME FRIENDS! Beautiful floral. Fruit, and gold hand blown glass French perfume bottle from the 1850s. The blue flowers on the face and rear of the bottle are hand painted with raised beading to give the piece a real textured appearance. The gold trim still has a lovely glimmer considering it was painted over 150 years ago! I did notice what look like a chip on the bottom corner, but when I took my loop out and look at it, the gold paint covers the chip. I would consider this a manufactures defect. There are several small chips in this bottom area. But two of them are also covered with gold paint. There is one small chip around this bottom area. Please look at the photos and notate. My Mom passed away suddenly on October 19th of 2011 and. After a year of selling, this is the last of what was her estate. As much as I wanted to keep things in the family, my brothers have no interest in most items, and my husband and I just don't have the room. My Mom, grandmother, great grandmother and great aunts were all collectors, and I seem to have inherited that gene. Unfortunately, we live in a retirement community, and even after having several sales on eBay, I still can't find a place for much of what we have. There is jewelry, paintings, toys, Indian jewelry and china pieces. So, painful as this is, more things have to go. Many things have been in the family for 4 generations. This is a gorgeous antique crystal perfume bottle that sat on my Moms dresser for many years. It is six sided both on the stopper and the base. The stopper has an engraved or etched floral design on 4 of the six sides. It measures 2 1/2" alone. The base is also six sided and has a floral design carved deep into two of the sides. The base alone is 2 1/8" Together they measure 3 7/8" high. I see no makers marks. I cannot stress how impressive. How feminine and how unique this bottle is. The only thing I see that is not perfect is a very small chip on the inside of one side of the stopper. I only noticed it on close examination. Because of this small flaw I am starting the auction price low. I am happy to combine shipping.

VIntage Irice Pink Intaglio Cut Glass Floral Design Perfume Bottle
This perfume bottle belonged to my mother-in-law and was purchased in the 1950s. The pink glass bottle is an interesting diamond shape that has been hand cut with a floral design on two sides. It measures about 4.75 inches tall including the atomizer. With each side of the base under 2 inches. There is an original label on the back side. It is very worn. But you can see a partial"rice" logo in script with a magnifying lens. The gold top(brass? atomizer is discolored around the base that screws to the top of the bottle. I am not sure if this can be polished or is permanent. It still has remanents of the original perfume inside. And has never been cleaned. The winning bidder will pay $8.95 for shipping and packaging.

Beautiful Victorian Clear Glass Footed Perfume Bottle Floral and Foliate Brass Overlay Design Stopper with Brass Flower Top For Your Old Perfume Bottle Collection Details Description: This is a gorgeous clear glass perfume bottle with a tight fitting stopper having a glass dipping rod. The bottle which is made of clear glass. Has around squat shape and the stopper has a brass top in the shape of a bursting flower. The bottle has a nice brass overlay with a solid round base and four feet on which the bottle rest. The brass overlay is shaped in a beautiful floral and foliate design with the flowers being on the bottom and the foliate being on the sides and top of the bottle. The bottle has a round recessed base with the round brass ring holding the feet sitting right on its edge. The bottle has rounded sides which flares outwardly then back ... moreinwardly and tapers at a round neck where the stopper would fit. The whole piece has beautiful decorative appearance and is very much Victorian in design. The brass stopper has a glass dipping rod in its center which goes down about 2 two third of the way to the bottom of the bottle. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1800 to early 1900s. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Size: The bottle measures ~3' in diameter at its widest and is ~5 1/8" high with the stopper inserted. The bottle weighs about 8 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmarked. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: The piece has a nice shape with very interesting brass overlay and a beautiful and unusual brass stopper. It is rather uncommon in design and very much a Victorian piece. Condition: Very good condition with no breaks. This pretty antique“Art Nouveau” perfume bottle has a lovely floral decoration that was embossed in copper and then fitted to the glass bottle. The copper was originally silver plated. Which can be detected by looking at the color of the metalwork through the bottom of the bottle. This bottle is short, only 2 ½inches tall, and squarish in shape, about 3 ¼ inches wide, but the way the copper work was applied, to create a four-petaled flower shape, adds an organic feel to it. The bottle stopper has a more geometric, than floral, design, with a bold“X” that splits the square top into four triangles. Reproductions of a bottle like this one have been made, but this perfume bottle is an antique. It is in very good antique condition with only a tiny chip off of the edge of the part of the stopper that fits into the bottle's neck. Antique Art Glass Metal Floral Perfume Atomizer Bottle THORENS Music Box Plays!
Up for your consideration is this beautiful perfume atomizer set atop a Thorens music box base. This is in wonderful antique condition and retains most of the gilding. The open metalwork features a vine and floral pattern surrounding the perfume bottle. The windup music box plays smooth and features a switch on the base which is supposed to turn off the music when the base is set down, this switch needs adjustment as it must be pushed up slightly higher then the legs allow. The atomizer bulb is disintegrated from age within the mesh cover and hangs limp until a new one can be installed by the buyer if they so desire. Antique Art Glass Metal Floral Perfume ATOMIZER Bottle w/ THORENS Co. Music Box
Up for auction is a very unique antique/ vintage metal and glass perfume atomizer with a Thorens music box. There is no perfume in the bottle and the ball atomizer has hardened from age. There are no chips or cracks and is in very good condition. It measures 4 ½’ tall and about 3” wide. It also has a great metal floral design going around the perfume bottle and because it has the Thorens music box attached it is possible this is Swiss in origin.
