Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Perfume Dresser Bottle Ruffle Stopper
Lovely Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Decanter/ Perfume Bottle with Matching Ruffle Rim Stopper. This is a lovely cologne/ decanter/ bottle. The glass is white milk glass which has a matt satin finish on the outside. It stands 9 3/4" tall with stopper in place and bottle is 6 1/4" tall. The stopper is really great with deep scalloped ruffle that folds up and down. There is the tiniest nick on one rim edge of stopper which is shown in photo#5. More felt than seen unless looking with magnifier and a few rough spots on the bottom end. No nicks or chips to the bottle, normal imperfections found with old hand blown glass. Photos show all detail well. The bottle is decorated with lovely floral of warm earthy colors with gold gilt accent. The bottom has blue enameling that shades from light to dark. It has accent beading around ... morethe stopper top and bottle neck is decorated as well. The back is not decorated. Each piece has the same enameled number which was common for early Victorian glass to keep matching fitted parts in order. Very nice condition for a bottle more than 100 years old, c.1870-1890. STUNNING RC NIPPON ART DECO PAIR PERFUME COLOGNE BOTTLES HAND PAINTED 1900
Description This is a truly stunning. Antique pair of RC Nippon, hand painted Porcelain, Perfume/Cologne Bottles that carries the early and desired RC Nippon Hallmark, a favorite amongst collectors, on the bottoms, dating them to circa 1900. They are both just under 3 1/4” tall and about 2 5/8” at the widest point across the middle. The hand painted design is a striking combination of Art Deco, as can be seen by the circles and squares, and Art Nouveau as is seen in the curving necks of the swans. Each detail of the intricate design is outlined in black, adding to the Art Deco charm of these perfumes. There are the tiniest of moriage, bright gold raised dots, encircling the top edge, neck and center design, giving it highlight and shine, and the small deep red circles are eye-catching. There are also various shades of greens and purples on ... moresoft yellow backgrounds. The beautifully decorated stoppers have a gold band near the base, are hollow( never was a cork on these stoppers) they fit perfectly and are in excellent condition. ANTIQUE Japanese Bottle for PERFUME ETC. Looks hand-painted - how can I tell?
I've included a bunch of pictures of a little bottle I know nothing about. I really don't know if it's Japanese or Chinese. But it is definitely Asian. I don't know what kind of glass it is made of but it looks and feels like porcelain or China.but(DISCLAIMER) I do not know for sure. This little gem stands 3" high X 1 3/4 wide, and whatever used to be in it smells wonderful because there is a lingering sweet smell. The outside looks like it was hand-painted and one side features a man on a horse with a long, white beard with a spectator, each side has a Japanese shoe, and the other side features a beautiful painted red flower. As I said, I don't know what this bottle is for and I cannot find the logo anywhere, but I know nothing about antiques. This could be your lucky day! Two Antique Bell Shape Perfume Bottles One Partial Hand Painted
This is two antique bell shape perfume bottlers. The handle is the dauber. It comes out of the base of the bottle. There was a cork surrounding the bottom of the dauber to hold it in place. These are so old that the cork has stuck to the inside of the opening. So just the"handle" pulls out. This makes the handles a little loose when they are sitting. Vintage Footed Hand Painted#7356 Three Tier Scent/Perfume Bottle with Stopper. Maker- Unknown. The stopper has a small chip at the bottom. I do see a V-shape crack at the top tier. I am not sure if perhaps the top tier could have been broken off. I can't tell. There is a crack on the inside of the ruffle edge at the top- not that noticeable at a glance. There is a number stamped on the bottom#7356. It has four feet. The paint on this bottle is very nice. With the stopper. It measures 8 1/2" tall. They are standing 6 1/2" tall with the stoppers and measures the bottom at approx; around 3" x 3" It is in excellent condition. But one stopper have a small chip on the end, one bottle previously used,I still smell old perfume sense. Exceptionally well done hand-painted polo players and ponies; the details from the martingale and leg wraps on the ponies. To the players’ old style pith helmets, to the baggy top white jods are all great. The bottle looks to be hand blown. Has a small bubble in the shoulder, and is decorated with red paint and gilding over that. The stopper is ground, as is the inside neck of the bottle. No chips or breaks. A unique piece of Polo ephemera from almost 100 years ago.

Up for auction is a very nice heart or oval shaped Scent bottle or Perfume bottle. There are no chips or cracks and the stopper/glass rod is in perfect condition. The only condition issues are some corrosion on the metal band on the neck(this could be cleaned but I will leave that to the buyer) and some very minor paint loss on the face where the flowers are hand painted on. They typically fall off over the years and you typically find them without the bulb or the bulb has been replaced. So a great find! The Perfume Bottle is Brown with Hand Painted White Flowers and Beautiful Filigree Gold Accents. The bottle and stopper appear to be hand painted with a very intricate butterfly and fronds design. Bottle is in great shape except for some wear to the gold highlights around the rim. Also a couple very tiny chips to the edge of the stopper. Another chip noted on the bottom of the stopper. Looks like the number 54 hand painted on the bottom of the bottle and also written into the very bottom of the stopper. Bottle and stopper together are about 6 3/4" tall. For your consideration A pair of Antique Victorian BRISTOL GLASS Art Glass Dresser Jars, Barber Bottles. Decanters. Vanity Jars, Powder Jars These are all the words used to describe these items through history. Manufactured in the late 19th century. Victorian Bristol art glass is appreciated for its delicately hand-painted botanical motifs; the more finely executed the decoration. The more desirable the piece. The Victorian Parlor served as more than a gathering place for a family and guests, it offered the master and mistress of the house an opportunity to showcase their social status and good taste. These items would have been considered"highly desirable" to showcase. THEY STILL ARE! Description These items are both"clam broth" color with a hand painted"Lily of the Valley" design. They both have fanciful fluted ... morefinial tops that come off and on with ease. Minimal paint loss for their age- it's amazing. Measurements Tall Decanter: 9 1/2" with stopper(7" w/out) x 3" base. The only flaw on these pieces is on the inside neck where the stopper goes in. The stopper is 4" long x 2 1/2" wide at fluted top Small Jar: 7 1/2" with lid(4" w/out lid) x 3" base x 3" mouth opening The lid is 4.5" tall x 3" base x 2 1/4" wide fluted top If that scratch was not on the inside of the taller piece. I would say these items would be considered MINT. However. They are an unbelievable gift from the past for some lucky person to enjoy today! YOU would be proud to have these on display!
