Lot of three. Vintage Perfume Bottles(Atomizer) All three bottles are glass and are and average of 3" tall The atomizer bulb is soft. I have not tested any of these for functionality. As I dont want to damage them. The black bottle is black glass. I'm not sure if this is an Irise bottle, however it appears to be. The other two are cut glass. George Lorenz Perfumer was established by the Lorenz brothers in Ohio in c1880 and continued into the 1900s. The bottle has"Lorenz Perfumer" etched on the side at the base of the bottle. This bottle is decorated with an elaborate etched design of two deer in a grove of trees. This piece measures over 8" high to the top of the stopper. Metal, fabric, fasteners, and squeeze bulb is in excellent condition however the rare celluloid pink base shows slight water stains and it may have been re-glued to the glass during its history. The lovely pink glass is decorated with etched spheres with lines intersecting them. The cord and bulb have been replaced. The remainder of the bottle is original. RW & S scent perfume etched glass bottle sterling silver stopper
This is a very pretty Sterling Silver top etched glass perfume bottle. The silver is in very good condition. There is some wear where the dabber/stopper enters the neck of the bottle. Which is normal with age and use. The stopper is chipped as shown in the pictures, but it is still a beautiful display item and still very collectible. Just for accuracy there are a few light scratches that are towards the bottom of the bottle on the outside and are hardly noticeable. It measures approx. 5" tall by 3" diameter at it's widest. The silver is marked R W& S with a deer or a stag and numbers: 400-4 Robert Wallace silversmith. I believe after researching the hallmarks that it is American made in Connecticut. In 1855 Wallace was doing business as Robert Wallace& Co. And the firm was renamed R. Wallace& Sons in 1871. So the ... morebottle is at least made in 1871. It is monogrammed on the top. I am not an expert and try to do the best I can at describing my collection pieces up for auction. Antique Sterling Silver& Glass Perfume Bottle 1922 Click on the thumbnails to view more photos Gorgeous antique sterling silver collar and etched glass with stopper perfume bottle hallmarked Sheffield 1922. It is very similar to the perfume bottle shown in the opening credits of Downton Abbey. It measures 7.5" high to the top of the stopper and 3" across. The silver collar is 2.5" long. THe silver has beautiful details with scrolls and feathering. There is one little crimp to the top of the collar. The etched glass is gorgeous with small and large cut diamonds. The stopper is a beautiful prism. THere are no chips to the stopper. But there are some scratches. The body of the glass has a few very minor knicks around the bottom and the bottom has a star. Back, and Both Sides and a Silverplated Decorative Top with an attached Glass Dauber( please refer to pictures) It's in very good used condition- no chips or cracks(please refer to the pictures) It's approximately 2 inches Tall. 1-1/24 inches Wide, and 3/4 inch Deep; It has perfume residue in the bottle It has a paper foil label on the side(please refer to the pictures) It has on the bottom. ... moreIn raised molded letters"La Castillere" Made in France" and"HP" which stands for Pouchet et du Courval(please refer to the last pictures) This Perfume Bottle is from my personal collection of nic-nacs and"stuff" that I've accumulated over the last 50 years or so from various estates and auctions. It's is in very good used condition; ready to display. FYI: These little perfume bottles are from the 1920s- 1930s. The maker of these bottles is Pouchet et du Courval. A French Glassworks Company that provided many other perfume bottles to other companies(that's what the little raised"HP" stands for on the bottom) There bottles usually have ornate Silverplated caps with glass daubers attached. There's a very small section on these perfume bottles on page 147 of"The Wonderful World of Collecting Perfume Bottles" Second Edition by Jane Flanagan. Vintage Ormolu Brass/Gold Plate Vanity Decanter with Etched Glass Stopper
This is an Ormolu brass/gold plated and cut glass decanter bottle. It is 7" tall. The bottle has a sanded stopper. The bottle has a chip out of the corner. See photo. The brass/gold plated holder is in excellent condition. It is very ornate with cornucopias of grape vines and other designs. The four feet are smoothed and turned under. This will be shipped with tape over the corner of the break in the glass. The brass holder is 2.5" square. After some searching. A replacement bottle should be out there in cyber land. The piece has been priced accordingly. The brass gold plate has not been cleaned or polished. I leave that to the next owner. Scrolls, and florals with a blank centered cartouche that can be personally engraves. It has the hallmarks for Birmingham and I cannot make out the letter for the year, but I am sure this dates to late 19th Century. The etched glass is gorgeous and the stopper repeats the same design as the bottle. The bottle measures 8" high to the top of the stopper and the bottom is 3" across. This etched glass trim from Lightolier for can lights was purchased 15 yrs ago at an auction. Lightolier is known for quality and I see a lot of the fixtures and can lights but I don't see any of the specialty trim like this. Make your room special with this addition. Antique / Vintage ETCHED GLASS Perfume Bottle BEADED TOPPER Stamped IRICE
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a sweet IRICE bottle with white beaded topper. The bottle is a clear etched glass. The topper has white beads that make up the flower and there is a gold filigree base under the beads. Both the topper and bottle are in excellent condition. I do not see any missing or damaged beads to the topper ~ it is all intact. The glass bottle has no chips. Cracks or repairs. It is also very clean inside and out. It does have the"IRICE" stamp still affixed to the bottle. Typically these bottles are c. 1940s- 1950s. The plastic syphon tube is intact and the Lilac bulb is new. When the bulb is squeezed I do feel puffs of air come out so it appears to be in working condition but I have not tested it with liquid.
