Antique Large Rounded English Cut Glass Sterling Silver Perfume Cologne Bottle This listing is for a gorgeous antique perfume/cologne bottle that is in excellent condition. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. Please be sure to enlarge each picture for a better view as I don't think that I will be able to do this piece justice with my description. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. You are more than welcome to return the bottle for a full refund as long as it is in the exact same condition as when I send it to you. The metal top is a raised floral pattern and has no dents. I did my best to clean it but am sure that the buyer will be able to do a much better job. ... moreAs for the hallmark, I am positive that there is a lion facing the left, a shield and another symbol on the end but I can't make it out. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. There is another mark before the lion and I think that is the maker's mark.possibly J.T. or J.J. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I even used a magnifier. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. The top is either silver or silverplate, there is no hallmark so I'm not sure. Not sure what type of stopper this had. I don't see any chips, but it is hard to tell because of the pattern. Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Perfume Dresser Bottle Ruffle Stopper
Lovely Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Decanter/ Perfume Bottle with Matching Ruffle Rim Stopper. This is a lovely cologne/ decanter/ bottle. The glass is white milk glass which has a matt satin finish on the outside. It stands 9 3/4" tall with stopper in place and bottle is 6 1/4" tall. The stopper is really great with deep scalloped ruffle that folds up and down. There is the tiniest nick on one rim edge of stopper which is shown in photo#5. More felt than seen unless looking with magnifier and a few rough spots on the bottom end. No nicks or chips to the bottle, normal imperfections found with old hand blown glass. Photos show all detail well. The bottle is decorated with lovely floral of warm earthy colors with gold gilt accent. The bottom has blue enameling that shades from light to dark. It has accent beading around ... morethe stopper top and bottle neck is decorated as well. The back is not decorated. Each piece has the same enameled number which was common for early Victorian glass to keep matching fitted parts in order. Very nice condition for a bottle more than 100 years old, c.1870-1890. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. Almost 4 inches in diameter at bottom. Outstanding quality: glass bottle reminiscent of figural stylised woman in a wide skirt. Glass is emerald green cut to yellow. Original full dauber at the end of the stopper. Stopper with rich gilding and wonderful faux emerald on top. The neck of the bottle has a band of fantastic guilloche enamel in a complex design in sparkling emerald green. Golden orange and gold. This is a Wonderful. Small, Figural Perfume or Cologne Bottle from the 1880's- 90's, of a Baby Elephant hugging a flower covered bottle or flower covered post. It is clear and measures 3 7/8" tall and 1 1/4" across widest part of bottom. There is a little residue in the bottom, but the bottle is in Very Good condition, with no cracks or chips. Does have a very small rough edge about 1/4" long on bottom, but just a flaw in making. There is a faint#936 embossed on the bottom of the bottle. This is a German made piece, dating to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The silver around the body and neck of the bottle depicts detailed scenes of figures in a garden. Up for sale is this glass perfume bottle. Made in Europe in the early 1920s. Plus or minus a decade. Can't date it exactly. The bottle is very elegant with a subtly aggressive design. Has a large base with interesting cut overall. The glass has an olive-green tint. The vaporizator is of the hand-pump type. The pump along with the hose is missing. There are spots on the metal parts. There are no cracks. Nor large dents on the glass. There are a few small areas of ruggedness and two scattered small dents along the edges of the glass cuts. With a box like silver case made around 1900-1920 by Henckel. The silver case for the bottle is stamped Sterling and has the maker's mark for George A. Henckel& Co. This bottle is striking for its clean simplicity. The only ornament being the cut glass stopper. The front of the silver case has been monogrammed with a crisp A.R.C. This bottle and silver cover are in very good useable condition. There is some flaking and a few scratches around the stopper and spout. This wonderful perfume bottle has a slender neck above the elongated rounded base. Beautiful dark cranberry coloration in the glass body. Glass stopper cranberry shading over clear. Intricate sterling silver decoration with center cartouche(unused) The silver is unmarked but guaranteed to be Sterling. The bottle measures(with stopper inserted) 4 1/2" high. 2 1/2" wide and the top opening is 1/2" in diameter. Exceptionally well done hand-painted polo players and ponies; the details from the martingale and leg wraps on the ponies. To the players’ old style pith helmets, to the baggy top white jods are all great. The bottle looks to be hand blown. Has a small bubble in the shoulder, and is decorated with red paint and gilding over that. The stopper is ground, as is the inside neck of the bottle. No chips or breaks. A unique piece of Polo ephemera from almost 100 years ago.

Description Art Deco French sterling silver mounted cut crystal cologne/perfume bottle decorated with blue guilloche enamel. Unique wheel cut fluted pattern to the crystal body. Finished by a deeply cut 16-point starburst to the base. Mounted with a sterling silver threaded collar and screw on lid that opensto reveal a cut glass stopper beneath. Topped by an elegant and stylish engraved monogram of initials FL encircled by a blue guilloche enamel border. Measures 4 1/2" in height. 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" at the base. Bearing marks of the French Minerve 1st hallmark used in Paris since 1838. Which depicts the head of the goddess Minerva with a number 1 beside her to denote a silver content of.950/1000. That's 95% pure silver and a higher grade of finesse than the standard.925 sterling. The bottle measures 7.5" tall to the top of the original stopper.The bottle has a beautiful wheel cut grape pattern around the body. Condition is excellent with no chips. Cracks, repairs or scratching to the flashed ruby finish.This blown bottle has a clear glass bottom with a nice pontil mark, no cloudiness to the bottle. Signed Cartier 14K Gold 1900 Etched Crystal Perfume / Cologne Bottle by Gorham
This antique 14k yellow gold perfume/ cologne bottle was made by Gorham and designed/ signed by Cartier in 1900. It is part of a vanity set that now includes only the bottle and a shoe horn. Linda Lee Colgate was married to Henry Colgate of the toothpaste empire. Her aunt was Linda Lee Porter, married to Cole Porter. Linda Lee Colgate was my grandmother, so I can guarantee that this information in correct. The markings are around the rim of the gold top and are very hard to photograph, so I am including a picture of the markings on the shoe horn, which are almost identical. The bottle measures just under 6" high with the top on and has a 9.5" circumference at the widest point. The bottle alone is 4.5" high and the top is 4" long. The etched crystal bottle is in good condition with no cracks or chips. It does need to be cleaned as the inside has a ring from whatever liquid was inside it. I have NOT attempted to clean this. So I do not know if the ring can be cleaned. There are a few very minor signs of wear just below the lip of the bottle. The gold portion of the top is in excellent condition, though it needs to be cleaned. The stopper portion of the top, which is crystal, is in poor condition. The tip is broken off and there are several chips around the circumference of the crystal stopper.
