Antique Perfume bottle possibly from France vintage 1930s deco piece. The Deco pattern in brass is quite pretty with prong leaf shapes that accent the Embroidered Flower Center which is overlaid with a plastic coating. The glass is a dark purple almost black. The Stopper is accented with a rhinestone. The dabber on the stopper is plastic and is whole. The Perfume bottle is unbroken. However I would like to note that two of the brass leaves on the back of the bottle have been broken off due to age[please see photos] The size of this lovely diminutive piece is 1 1/2"across x 1 3/4" high. Up for auction is this mini free crystal perfume bottle. It looks like it might have been silver plated because the rim inside is silver. It needs to be cleaned. I will leave that up to the new owner. It has a green jewel at the top, it does NOT have a stopper. There is a ball of cotton in the top, you can see it in picture#10. The hinge is working well and the top fits securely. Measures approximately 2 3/8s" high(this includes the green jewel) and is approximately 13/16th of an inch in diameter. This perfume bottle is really beautiful and very old. It stands about 5.5" high including the dauber inserted into the bottle. The brass and glass dauber is about 4.5" long. The glass is beautiful crystal. Everything comes apart so you can clean and polish it without any trouble. The perfume bottle has never had any perfume in it so it is totally unused. Up for auction is a wonderful antique. Circa 1900ish, four sectioned perfume bottles in a goldtone filigree holder. A wonderful estate find, this perume holder and four perfume bottles is wonderful indeed. Each of the four perfume bottles has a brass twist on cap and an inside stopper. One of the stoppers is different and must have at some point been replaced. The stoppers are short and only go into the bottle to the bottom of the sanded inside rim. Each bottle has a brass outer upper edge. The lids are brass and engraved with intertwined letters'RC' or'CR' see picture. Each bottle is 5" tall x 2 1/8" wide and 1 1/8" deep. All the bottles fit beautifully into a goldtone, filigree cutout designed holder. Beautiful Victorian Clear Glass Footed Perfume Bottle Floral and Foliate Brass Overlay Design Stopper with Brass Flower Top For Your Old Perfume Bottle Collection Details Description: This is a gorgeous clear glass perfume bottle with a tight fitting stopper having a glass dipping rod. The bottle which is made of clear glass. Has around squat shape and the stopper has a brass top in the shape of a bursting flower. The bottle has a nice brass overlay with a solid round base and four feet on which the bottle rest. The brass overlay is shaped in a beautiful floral and foliate design with the flowers being on the bottom and the foliate being on the sides and top of the bottle. The bottle has a round recessed base with the round brass ring holding the feet sitting right on its edge. The bottle has rounded sides which flares outwardly then back ... moreinwardly and tapers at a round neck where the stopper would fit. The whole piece has beautiful decorative appearance and is very much Victorian in design. The brass stopper has a glass dipping rod in its center which goes down about 2 two third of the way to the bottom of the bottle. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1800 to early 1900s. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Size: The bottle measures ~3' in diameter at its widest and is ~5 1/8" high with the stopper inserted. The bottle weighs about 8 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmarked. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: The piece has a nice shape with very interesting brass overlay and a beautiful and unusual brass stopper. It is rather uncommon in design and very much a Victorian piece. Condition: Very good condition with no breaks. Chips, or repairs. the inside of the bottle is soiled, the brass inlay and stopper could probably use a good cleaning to bring out the full beauty of the piece. The metal appears to be brass and the chain with ring are also brass. It needs a bit of cleaning to the inside as there is some dark residue inside. The bottle does show some wear& rubbing to the glass but there are no cracks. Chips or repairs. The metal& chain are all secure to the bottle. The hinge is intact and works fine. The cap& chain could use some shining. It does have some small dents here and there as you will see in the photos. The glass has a pretty design to it and may have even had gold decoration but if it did it has all rubbed away. It is 6 1/2 inches long with the chain extended. VINTAGE PERFUME BOTTLE W/ ATOMIZER-WALES OF JAPAN W/ PAPER LABEL & BRASS TOP
THIS VINTAGE PERFUME BOTTLE WAS MADE IN JAPAN BY THE WALES CO. AND STANDS 5 INCHES TALL. THE BODY IS GLASS WITH A BRASS TOP THAT DOES COME OFF AND A PLASTIC STRAW THAT EXTENDS DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BOTTLE. THERE IS A KNIT CLOTH SACK THAT GOES OVER THE BRASS CONNECTOR. THE RUBBER BULB INSIDE THE BAG IS HARD AND NO LONGER WORKS.THE FLOWER DECAL ON THE FRONT IS IN GOOD SHAPE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE. NO CHIPS OR CRACKS ON THE BOTTLE.
