Each Marked STERLING 54 Unknown Maker You are buying two beautiful. Old Heavy Crystal/Glass Bottles(Perfume Bottles) with Stoppers. All time best shape and form. Each has unique tooled. Sterling overlay. The Design on each includes a flower Iris or Daffodil? and a Solid Silver plate with ornamental“vines” Beautiful! Both need to be polished and interiors cleaned as they have Cloudiness. Moisture residue, build up inside. I did not want to risk doing any damage to these pieces so I left them As-Is. These were my Mom’s from her Sterling Collection. She has had them wrapped and stored for many years. There ... moreare no chips or cracks on the Bottles. The Silver Overlay on one is complete and Beautiful. The other one has a part of a flower missing(Picture with the frosty looking outline shows the missing silver) It was hard to get great pictures without glare and reflections and shadows. One has a little wider cover lip. The Stoppers are complete. One has a“fracture” Bottom of stem, but it seems to be internal. Both have chipping/fleabites along stem bottoms. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. This a gorgeous Antique Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver overlay. The silver is thick and design lovely. It has old Hallmarks 925/1000 and Mark is readable as produced in Atteboro. Massachusetts by Saart Brothers in about 1906. Patented. The bottle measures a Large approx. 5 1/2" Tall X 3 1/2 inches high. The stopper is FREE of Chips. however looks like the interior stem has some cracks. Inside there is some crusty debrie which needs to be cleaned out. No dings! A wonderfully tactile scent flask. With it's deeply cut crystal in a series of star cuts within a diamond shaped lozenge. The glass is a beautiful Emerald green fading to clear at the bottom of the flask. The screw-top lid is decorated with repousse work crowned with a circular cartouche which could be engraved by your silversmith if you wished to personalize. The interior is cork filled to avoid evaporation of the precious contents. The silver is of course hallmarked for Birmingham 1899, Victorian in era. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. Beautiful antique ground glass perfume vial sterling silver top. Marked with the Birmingham hallmark, and the year mark of 1888. Made by the famous silversmith George Edwin Walton flask marked G.E.W Ld in a chamfered rectangle.The cork inside was dried out so it has been replaced with a fresh one that will make this little gem fully functional! Measures 6.8cm x 1.8cm. Please see the small flea bites to the bottom edge, very very minor, and a small ding to side of cap. Could use a good polishing, but will leave that to the buyer as I prefer my pieces to show their age. The shoulder of the flask and the bottom have been hand bevelled and the glass is substantial. There are no dings to to the cut glass sides. But the polished bottom has expected scratches. There are VERY tiny contact dings to the sterling cap; what you might expect for an item of this age. They are too small to photograph well. Atomizer unscrews and lifts out from sterling top. Sterling top is not removable. If you prefer a traditional perfume bottle. This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. Antique Hinged Perfume Bottle, Sterling Silver and Cut Glass; by Mappin & Webb
This gorgeous Victorian perfume bottle was made by the London silversmiths Mappin and Webb. Most likely in the late 1800's. The top is.925 sterling silver, and the bottle is cut class. It is in very good condition, with just a small amount of wear on the bottom of the glass and some chips on one side of the stopper grip. The metal and hinge are excellent. 3-1/4" tall x 2" diameter I tried to magnify the hallmarks inside the lid and on the outside of the cover. One shows what appears to be the sillouette of the Queen. Up for auction is an antique green glass perfume bottle with sterling silver overlay designs. There is no monogram. The stopper is approx. 1.5 inches long. The bottle stands approx. 2.5 inches without the stopper and 3.5 inches with it. On the back of the neck below the rim it is stamped Sterling. I can not find any other marks. There is one very tiny either flaw or chip on the bottom, I really can't tell if it is a flaw in the glass or tiny chip as it is very hard to notice. It is about the size of tiny grain of pepper. It is the"double ended" style with 2 compartments& capped at either end. The hinged cap side opens and closes as it should. It has a spring to open the lid when you push the small button on the front. Inside the lid it has the"retractable" glass that gives when you close the bottle so that the bottle is sealed. The hingedlid side does have hallmarks but they are very worn and I am unable to make them out. I tried my best to take a photo& have posted the best one I could get. The other end is a screw on lid and the original cork is still inside the lid. Neither side has a stopper but I don't think it ever had stoppers since each side already has a way to keep the bottle adequately ... moresealed. No dents or damage to either lid. We're assuming they are rare. The Alvin Manufacturing Company was founded in 1886 by William H. Jamo uneau in Irvington. New Jersey. The company moved to Sag Harbor. Long Island in 1895 and later changed its name to the Alvin Silver Co. in 1919. The Alvin Silver Manufacturing Company was known for making fine sterling silver. The Gorham company of Providence. Rhode Island acquired the Alvin Company’s dies and patterns in 1928. The largest measures 4" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter with original stopper. Description For your consideration today is this beautiful late Victorian perfume bottle made by William Comyns. This bottle is cut crystal and has a gorgeous repousse sterling silver hinged top featuring a pair of doves. It is hallmarked around the neck of the bottle with William Comyns stamp. The Silver Standard Mark, the London, England City Mark, the Date Letter of 1889. And the Duty Mark of Queen Victoria the I. The bottle is 5 1/4" tall and 4" across. There is a small push button on the front which keeps the bottle securely closed. There is no inner stop. Very finely cut old glass of the same period as the American Brilliant Cut Glass(and possibly made here, but glass is not marked, so we do not know) Sterling silver neck and hinged lid. Antique green glass and sterling silver over lay scent bottle. Condition: there is a dent on the top of the marked sterling silver lid. I can't remove the inner glass stopper and there is perfume or salts residue on the inside of the bottle. There are nicks on the glass stopper and on the edge of the top of the bottle. You may be able to get the stopper out. I have soaked it in hot water with no results. The lid screws on and off nicely with no problems. It is a heavy little thing, super shiny and displays VERY nicely. Please view all photo's and enlarge them. This piece measures 2-3/16" tall with lid in place and is 1-1/16" in diameter. England Cut Crystal Perfume Bottle& Stopper with Sterling Silver Repousse Lid and Neck Measurements: 4 3/4" Total Height 3 1/4" Diameter 2" Base Diameter 1 3/4" Silver Lid Diameter 1 1/2" Silver Lid Height 5/8" Bottle Opening 1 1/4" Stopper Height 14.4 ounces- Weight Very good antique condition. Perfume scent bottle has four crosshatched pinwheel floral circles with a thumbprint center. The floral pinwheels are surrounded by cut eight and four point stars with the bottom having a cut starburst. The perfume bottle and stopper have no cracks. Glass has some surface use wear marks. There are small pinpoint dings to the edges of some of the cut crystal ridges. One of the central circles of the pinwheel flowers has a less than 1/8" chip on the circle's edge. The top monogrammed ... moresurface of the sterling lid is slightly dented with four pinpoint holes in the silver. Lid snaps shut. Cut crystal stopper has a bit of roughness to its top edge and minor use wear marks on the frosted stopper surface. Bottom of the bottle has a hand etched number 43. I apologize but this is a little out of my realm of expertise. It is not my intention to mislead in any way with the information provided. Just letting you know what I know(sorry not much: I found the bottle in the bottom of a box of old"junk" at a local sale and thought it interesting. I was told by the seller it was from her grandmother's things and they had been in storage and forgotten about. It looks to me to be authentic, the items in the box were definitely old, and I believe it is probably an antique. It is not marked that I can find. The metal looks and feels like sterling but again, it is not marked. I did a quick magnetic test on it and it is not magnetic. Antique 3.5" Clear Glass Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver Overlay
This listing is for an antique sterling silver overlay perfume bottle. It measures just a little over 3.5" tall and 2.5" at the widest point. The stopper also has the overlay. Part of the marking is worn off. But it looks like it says: Fine Silver 999 1000. Two of the nines and the F are worn off. The bottom of the bottle is etched with the number 167. The silver has light scratches, and the stopper has a few very tiny chips. Overall, nice condition.

Antique, RARE Ruby Red Glass Victorian Perfume Bottle with Sterling Silver
Beautiful. Rare and elegant, with faceted glass and ornate repousse silver hinged flip top lid. Glass is hand-blown and a rich ruby red found in decorative glass pieces of the Victorian era. These bottles first appeared in the late 1700's, but it wasn't until the mid-1800's that they were in general use. Their popularity waned during the late 1800's, but they continued to be made until the turn of the century. This item is in excellent condition, the silver carved hinge lid in perfect working order, with only a slight unevenness to the silver caused by opening and closing the lid and a slight patina to the silver. The faceted glass has a few nicks, but overall, it is in perfect shape. The bottle may have been worn around a lady's neck, as was the style of the age. Generally, a customer purchased the perfume bottle empty ... moreand had it filled by a chemist or perfumier, as ready-filled bottles of perfume were not yet on the market. This one contains a remnant of the owners' original perfume content, now a dried out solid. Excellent, low price for high value, rare piece- check out similar items being sold on the web. Bottle measures approx. 2 3/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide at its widest part. Silver clasp top is approx. 7/8 of an inch in diameter.

Antique French Sterling Silver & Crystal Absinthe Flask By Gaston Bardies C1900
VINTAGE FRENCH TIME WORN TREASURES This is absolutely gorgeous antique French sterling silver and engraved crystal absinthe or Melissa water flask. It was made by Gaston Bardies who was a Paris silversmith in operation from 1897 to 1914. These beautiful flasks were made to carry around and have a small silver beaker that detaches from the bottom of the flask. You could fill this with absinthe or with Melissa water and have a drop on the move! This flask has the same design engraved into the crystal as it has around the outside of the beaker and the silver stopper. Which is a weave of ribbon and olive leaves and berries. The stopper at the top has a little crystal plunger fitted into the lid. Once the top is in place the crystal plunger fills the top of the bottle. This can feel a little loose but it does still fit. The beaker is gilded on ... morethe inside and is delicate and beautiful but it does have very slight undulations. Which I have tried to show in the photographs. The silver lid is a little wavy around the bottom collar which meets the bottle. Both the lid and the beaker are stamped with the Gaston Bardies hallmark and the Minerve hallmark. The bottle is in fabulous condition but does have a little rough area just under the collar of the lid. The measurements in total are 5½” for the complete bottle. Both are in very good, gently used condition. Both pieces are wrapped in an intricate vine and iris pattern overlay of delicate 999 Fine Alvin Sterling Silver. In time for the holiday season. We are pleased to offer an amazing ANTIQUE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER OVERLAY CROWN GLASS PERFUME SCENT SALTS BOTTLE recently obtained from an Illinois estate. From a collector of antique perfumes, this is an amazing example of Victorian Craftsmanship in sterling silver overlay. All parts original, approx. 2 3/4" long x 1 1/2" wide, sterling top with engraving. This perfume was a star of an amazing collection. This is a antique perfume bottle with a sterling lid with mother of pearl attached to top. I believe the stopper is missing. It is not marked sterling but it tested sterling.
