Circa 1880 In wonderful condition. Not hallmarked as was so typical with these Antique Victorian scent bottles. The beautiful flat tubular glass is in lovely condition. The blue bottle is the most wonderful colour being the deepest of the cobalt shades with a hint of purple. With no chips or nibbles. The solid silver screw on lid has heavy repousse silver work of flowers& leaves. Absolutely stunning. I can feel a slight indentation to the lid where the tip of my finger rests when unscrewing the lid. This is very hard to see due to the ornate decoration to the lid. I mention for total accuracy. And if the bottle was also produced in France, then my best'guess' is that it was produced by Schneider Glass. Mottled glass such as this one is commonly attributed to Czech or Bohemian glasshouses, another possibility for this unmarked art glass. This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. PAIR ANTIQUE BLUE OPAQUE GLASS SCENT / PERFUME BOTTLES C. 1880~HAND ENAMELED
Here we have a very beautiful pair of Antique Victorian Art Glass Perfume bottles. The blue opaque glass is all hand blown and decorated. The bottles are in mint condition with only some gold wear. The white enamel is just the best showing the flowers against the glass in high art glass style. The bottles stand 10 1/4" tall by 3" in dia at the middle wide point. There are not chips cracks nor breaks that we can find. The one top finial is not as rounded as the other. The gold trim is worn on the bottles from over 120 years of normal use. Each bottle is marked on the bottom with its own number. One is 50 the other is 52. We would call these Bristol glass due to their enameled decoration. Must see in person to fully appreciate. Unfortunately we have been severely impacted by The Sandy Storm and I must sell a lot of my beloved antiques and collectibles. I have no choice. This was purchased by my mom many years ago in an antique store in New York City. Her bedroom was a vision in blue and she bought this unusual item to stand proudly on her vanity. We really did not know the history but was only told it was bohemian Czech. I have neverseen another like it. the color is a beautiful pale blue but yet it appears darker when you look through it. t is cut to clear in th fom of dots and stripes. This is a pretty vintage German lay down perfume scent bottle made of mercury glass in white with blue. Orange, green swirls. There is gold glitter in some of the swirls. Circa 1930's. The metal crown cover is attached to a piece of cork and it unscrews. The cover has some tarnish that is expected from aging. 2 1/4" tall and just under 1 1/2" wide. Superb. Very Rare"ATOMA" Czech Cut Glass Pocket Spray Bottle/Atomizer Complete In Box You are viewing an Antique"ATOMA" Pocket Spray Atomizer complete in it's Original box. I believe this old piece dates to the early 1900's. But I'll leave that to the experts to determine. The stunning blueish purple cut glass bottle measures 1 3/4" high x 1 5/8" wide x 9/16" thick. It features a wonderful hobstar pinwheel cut glass pattern on both sides. As seen in the photos. It comes with the small brass funnel(3/16" Diameter) as well as the brass atomizer with rubber bulb. Printed on the original rice paper folded insert is Registered Patent applied for. The insert is printed in both English and perhaps German or Czechoslovakian(please see photos) This ATOMA Pocket spray may be a one-of-a-kind invention/prototype. ... moreI have not seen another example of this old pocket atomizer. The small bottle has a unique cut out/notch on one side that appears to have held the rubber spray bulb in place. The small brass lever. When in the horizontal position prevented any leakage or evaporation of the perfume. Engraved into the side of the brass nozzle is WCRTEX APLD DP CZECHO SL. As stated above. The condition is Excellent overall. I viewed the bottle with a magnifier and could detect only one small shallow chip on the outer edge. The bottle has old perfume residue inside and at the top which should clean up nicely. The old rubber spray bulb has hardened over time and is no longer pliable. This is an amazing atomizer that would be a top-notch addition to any antique perfume bottle/atomizer collection. Up for your consideration is this 1890's Antique French Blue Opaline perfume bottle.It is hand blown and hand painted with a white enamel painted design with gold trim.It measures 4 3/4; inch's and with the top on 6 3/ inch's.This Royal Blue Victorian bottle is simple yet very elegant.You can see were it was hand blown on the base and it has a number 34.The stopper also has a number of 24.Condition:The top has a few flea bites on the interior of the rim and there is a small chip on the outside bottle rim.There is some very minor gold wear and two black dots that were blown into the glass when made.It sounds like a lot but it isn't.
