Here is a fantastic green glass perfume with silver overlay; it is antique. But has never yet been monogrammed; it is very pretty and free of any damage. It is one of three great little antique glass treasures listed. It has original stopper, which is also in fine condition. Total height is about 4" tall. Base is about 1' and widest belly about 2 1/2" Fabulous patina on silver, over top of the perfect shade of green; this bottle looks amazing in cabinet or on dresser for Valentines day. This Stopper can of course be replaced. The Tapering Bottle Measures 5 ¼ inches in length and the Fine Silver Top which is shaped like a Crown with no dents. It seems there could be a very small band of Silver Missing at the bottom of the collar 0.2 of a cm. This is where the original Hall Marks would have been and would have been dated around 1895. Overall Condition is Very good with no Damage. Dents to the top and no chips to the glass. The One Stopper with the“fracture” was hand-blown and is hollow. The other Stopper is Solid. Each are similar size but have a little different shape. These two really complement each other. This is an antique late 1800's to early 1900's perfume/cologne/tonic/barber bottle with a metal dabber top. The glass is a beautiful textured and decorated artful piece. It measures 4-1/2" high by 1-1/2" X 2" wide and deep. It has a rose type embossed emblem on the bottom but doesn't have any names or numbers on it. BOXED ANTIQUE FRENCH SILVER CUT GLASS ORNATE SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE, HALLMARKED
Description: A fine antique 19th century French silver and cut glass scent bottle. The glass body features an exquisite all over zipper cut patterning. An ornate repousse of rocailles. Scrolling foliate and petite flowers encompass the silver lid and collar. A blank cartouche tops the hinged lid, opening to reveal a gilt vermeil interior and a cut glass stopper. Hallmarked with the wild boar's head, a French standard for.800/1000 silver. The mark was typically used on small objects of at least 80% pure silver content, close to.925 sterling. Also bearing an silversmith's mark, visible in the photos. Likely that of silversmith Charles Murat, active in 1897, whose workshop was located at 62 rue des Archives in Paris. The bottle is housed in the original presentation box with push button clasp opening to a fitted interior lined in green ... moresatin and velvet. This auction is for an Antique Victorian Perfume Bottle. This piece is Forest Green Glass and has a glass stopper that is shaped like a crown. The bottle is a forest green glass and fits nicely into a small purse that fits the perfume bottle perfectly. It is a pale brown leather and shows normal signs of wear. The bottle is mint the stopper has a couple of tiny chips on the base of the stopper. The top of the stopper has no damage. It is a very small purse size piece. It is trimmed out in gold and the clasp on the purse latches properly. The leather of the purse is soft and supple. It is 4" long. The bottle is 3" tall. It is a Fantastic Old Piece in nice condition. This is a very rare find. The bottle is in a ring shape. The top is sterling and there is a chain so the piece can attach to a chatelaine. The bottle retains some of it's orignal wading from the vinaigrette. It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. Please be sure to enlarge each picture for a better view as I don't think that I will be able to do this piece justice with my description. I tried to research the hallmark and will share what I found with you. If I'm wrong. You are more than welcome to return the bottle for a full refund as long as it is in the exact same condition as when I send it to you. The metal top is a raised floral pattern and has no dents. I did my best to clean it but am sure that the buyer will be able to do a much better job. ... moreAs for the hallmark, I am positive that there is a lion facing the left, a shield and another symbol on the end but I can't make it out. The shield looks like it has 3 identical shapes inside it and the rectangle next to the shield also has a shape inside. There is another mark before the lion and I think that is the maker's mark.possibly J.T. or J.J. My eyes aren't what they used to be and I even used a magnifier. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it.
