It is a large rounded cut crystal bottle with a sterling silver hinged top and a glass stopper. The cut is beautiful and there is a 12 point star on the bottom. I'm pretty sure that the ground glass stopper is the original one and it is in excellent condition and fits beautifully. The hinged top and collar have no dents. Cracks or repairs and the hinge works perfectly. It clicks when you close it. This lovely bottle measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 11" in circumference. When held to the light, I noticed a couple of small spots on the bottom and one on a clear panel but think that they are manufacturer flaws.they do not have a rough feel at all but I did want to mention it. This gorgeous Victorian perfume bottle was made by the London silversmiths Mappin and Webb. Most likely in the late 1800's. The top is.925 sterling silver, and the bottle is cut class. It is in very good condition, with just a small amount of wear on the bottom of the glass and some chips on one side of the stopper grip. The metal and hinge are excellent. 3-1/4" tall x 2" diameter I tried to magnify the hallmarks inside the lid and on the outside of the cover. One shows what appears to be the sillouette of the Queen. These lovely pieces are fully hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver. The anchor for the city of Birmingham, and the letter E for 1853. It was made by the Adie Brothers Limited. Antique Perfume/Scent Bottle with Stopper! This is a lovely little scent bottle& stopper. The hallmarks- CM. Anchor, X, Lion Passant, shows it is Sterling(and glass) made by Charles May in Birmingham England in 1897-1898. The bottle stands 4 inches tall to the top of the stopper. As this cute bottle& stopper are over 100 years of age, they do have some tiny chips as shown in the pictures. Still a nice example of a scent bottle from the late 19th century. Sterling silver and enamel perfume or cologne bottle. This piece dates to 1800. The lid features beautiful pink guilloche enamel, translucent with the fine machine turned designs visible underneath. The lid and collar of the bottle are sterling silver. The bottle itself is glass, decorated with vertical cuts and a band of foliate designs. The lid flips up to reveal a little glass stopper, to apply the cologne or perfume. The bottle is in great condition. The enamel has a very minor flake to one edge. Visible at about the 6 o'clock position in the fourth photo. The stopper is in great shape and fits well. The glass has no chips, no cracks, no breaks, ... moreand no repairs. The silver is hallmarked and it is somewhat rubbed. But I believe it is Sheffield 1895. The cut glass is elegant with diamond and prism shapes. The stopper is elegant. There are no chips to the glass, but the inside of the silver neck has some cracks. There are a few very minor dents to the silver. It measures 7" high and the bottom is about 2.75" across. Description EDWARDIAN REPOUSSE SILVER& CUT GLASS PERFUME BOTTLE W.J. MYATT- STERLING SILVER- NO MONOGRAM- 1906 This antique cut glass and sterling silver globe perfume was a wedding gift to my grandmother in 1906. It measures 5" tall and 4" across. It is hallmarked WMJ& CO. Anchor in shield indicating assayed in Chester, England, the lion passant for sterling and the date letter script'g' for 1906 on the lower edge of the silver lid. The lovely repousse lid depicts twining vines and flowers and if you look closely, you will see a little bird and strangely enough, a man with a mustache. The hand cut glass globe jar is original to the lid and in in very good condition with a very few scattered tiny fleabites on the cut diamond shapes. They are not noticeable unless you are really looking for them. The glass is very ... moreclear with no clouding, cracks, dings or repairs. The sterling silver lid is in very good antique condition with slight soft denting to the top(see pix) The lid does not have a monogram. The original ground glass stopper with faceted globe top is stuck in sterling silver collared opening. I would imagine a good soaking would release it but I will leave that to the buyer. Antique Vintage Birks Sterling Silver& Cut Glass Perfume Bottle Marked Description: This is a 5 1/4" tall by 2" wide at the base vintage or antique beautiful cut glass or crystal perfume bottle with a Birks sterling silver long neck. The sterling silver neck is marked"Birks Sterling" At the very top of the point of the stopper there is a tiny little nick. There is also a little residue on the bottom on the inside. Both are very minor and you might be able to get the residue out if you want. This perfume bottle displays very nicely as you will see when look at the pictures.
