But some were found after the group photo was taken, so they are not pictured. These came from private homes. The ... moredate is circa 1910 The vases are 11" high with an elongated. Slender, baluster body, spreading to domed circular base 4" wide, narrowing at the neck 2 ¾" The signature is in green. 1 inch below the mouth and reads as"Leg. It is the signature that Legras used on the production that wasn't cameo or acid etched. Mont Joy-Legras& Cie, Verreries et Cristalleries) Legras produced quite a range of different and original art glass. However a significant part of their production followed the styles of Galle, Daum, Moser, Rene Lalique, Schneider etc. Sometime in the late 1920 Legras’s production of art glass effectively ceased. The glass is in at least two layers. A clear inner layer, and the outer layer with the yellow powdered colored glass added with a hand painted green cascading vine and tendrils design. There are no chips or cracks. There is some wear to the body commensurate with age and use and they would benefit from a professional clean. Not knowing how to best clean this type of glass. Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Perfume Dresser Bottle Ruffle Stopper
Lovely Victorian Hand Painted Art Glass Cologne Decanter/ Perfume Bottle with Matching Ruffle Rim Stopper. This is a lovely cologne/ decanter/ bottle. The glass is white milk glass which has a matt satin finish on the outside. It stands 9 3/4" tall with stopper in place and bottle is 6 1/4" tall. The stopper is really great with deep scalloped ruffle that folds up and down. There is the tiniest nick on one rim edge of stopper which is shown in photo#5. More felt than seen unless looking with magnifier and a few rough spots on the bottom end. No nicks or chips to the bottle, normal imperfections found with old hand blown glass. Photos show all detail well. The bottle is decorated with lovely floral of warm earthy colors with gold gilt accent. The bottom has blue enameling that shades from light to dark. It has accent beading around ... morethe stopper top and bottle neck is decorated as well. The back is not decorated. Each piece has the same enameled number which was common for early Victorian glass to keep matching fitted parts in order. Very nice condition for a bottle more than 100 years old, c.1870-1890. Antique WHITE GLASS CUT BACK TO COBALT BLUE Perfume Scent Bottle HAND PAINTED
Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a unique Perfume Scent Bottle. It has cobalt blue glass on the interior with clear glass around that and then white glass on the exterior. The white glass has then been cut back to reveal the blue glass interior. Such a pretty glass effect and you can see it best from the bottom or when you hold it up to light. I have seen this done with items made in France and Czechoslovakia. This little bottle appears to be c. late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The screw on lid is silver tone metal but it is not sterling. The threading has been dented a little over the years so the lid screws on but is a loose fit. There is still a lot of the gold painted detail left but it is thinning in a few areas. I think there may have been some colored. Floral paintings on the ... morewhite glass that have worn down with age. You can just barely make out the faded outlines. No chips. Cracks or repairs but I do see a couple microscopic nibbles to the bottom edge. They are super tiny but you might be able to see them in the photos of the bottom as they are not seen when the bottle standing up for display. It looks like the letter"C" painted on the bottom but I don't know the significance of this. Maybe it's just the owners initial( The bottle with lid in place is 3 7/8 inches tall and 1 ½ inches across at the widest part which is the shoulder area just below the cap. Lovely Antique Hand Painted Glass Perfume Bottle - Made in Czecho-Slovakia
This perfume bottle was acquired at the estate sale of an antiques dealer. I am not sure how old it is. Only that it is old. It is bulb shaped with a narrow neck and opening. It closes with what I believe is a pressed glass(not cut) stopper. There is a yellow stripe painted around the opening, which upon close examination I believe was originally gold gilt that has faded to yellow over time. The body of the bottle is decorated with hand painted flowers, which resemble daisies, done in a bright orange. The flowers are surrounded with circles made up of hand painted white dots. There is a yellow band painted around the base, which I also think was originally gold gilt. The bottom is marked in white, the words, Made in Czecho-Slovakia" with a diamond painted at each end of the wording and encircled by two ovals. The bottle and stopper are ... morein excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The only issue would be some slight wear to the hand painted decorations, which is minimal considering that the piece is an antique. The measurments are: about 5 1/4" tall with the stopper, about 4" tall without the stopper. The diameter of the opening is 1 1/4" and the diameter of the base is 2 1/2. A wonderful 1920's Art Deco Bohemian original hand painted and 22k gold gilt hand blown orange glass perfume bottle. Wonderful design with orange and black coloration and embossed floral gold gilt decoration. This bottle has its original puffer atomizer but has no brass dauber. The bottle is not signed but the style is reminiscent of DeVilbiss as Moser and other Czechoslovakian companies supplied DeVilbiss with the majority of their perfume bottles between 1925 and 1938.
