The Deco pattern in brass is quite pretty with prong leaf shapes that accent the Embroidered Flower Center which is overlaid with a plastic coating. The glass is a dark purple almost black. The Stopper is accented with a rhinestone. The dabber on the stopper is plastic and is whole. The Perfume bottle is unbroken. However I would like to note that two of the brass leaves on the back of the bottle have been broken off due to age[please see photos] The size of this lovely diminutive piece is 1 1/2"across x 1 3/4" high. Antique Green Eight Sided CRYSTAL GLASS MINI PERFUME BOTTLE with Brass Top
Up for auction is this mini free crystal perfume bottle. It looks like it might have been silver plated because the rim inside is silver. It needs to be cleaned. I will leave that up to the new owner. It has a green jewel at the top, it does NOT have a stopper. There is a ball of cotton in the top, you can see it in picture#10. The hinge is working well and the top fits securely. Measures approximately 2 3/8s" high(this includes the green jewel) and is approximately 13/16th of an inch in diameter. Beautiful Victorian Clear Glass Footed Perfume Bottle Floral and Foliate Brass Overlay Design Stopper with Brass Flower Top For Your Old Perfume Bottle Collection Details Description: This is a gorgeous clear glass perfume bottle with a tight fitting stopper having a glass dipping rod. The bottle which is made of clear glass. Has around squat shape and the stopper has a brass top in the shape of a bursting flower. The bottle has a nice brass overlay with a solid round base and four feet on which the bottle rest. The brass overlay is shaped in a beautiful floral and foliate design with the flowers being on the bottom and the foliate being on the sides and top of the bottle. The bottle has a round recessed base with the round brass ring holding the feet sitting right on its edge. The bottle has rounded sides which flares outwardly then back ... moreinwardly and tapers at a round neck where the stopper would fit. The whole piece has beautiful decorative appearance and is very much Victorian in design. The brass stopper has a glass dipping rod in its center which goes down about 2 two third of the way to the bottom of the bottle. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: Late 1800 to early 1900s. Origin: Purchased at an estate auction in Lancaster Pennsylvania. Size: The bottle measures ~3' in diameter at its widest and is ~5 1/8" high with the stopper inserted. The bottle weighs about 8 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmarked. Distinguishing Characteristics- Most Interesting About The Piece: The piece has a nice shape with very interesting brass overlay and a beautiful and unusual brass stopper. Hi. You are bidding on a very unique glass horn. It has a cork in the end like it is a wine or whiskey flask. It has an antique brass chain on it to carry it by. It is about 9 1/2 inches long and about 2 1/4 inches wide at the top. Upon taking the photos, I tried to remove the cork, and of course it came apart. The cork was very old and had dry rotted. The end of the horn itself looked like it had been married together with the end spout. Dont know, never saw anything like this before. There is a small chip at the neck. Please look at the photos. The bottle has brilliant dark cobalt coloration in the glass and has a panel cut body with bevel cut shoulders. Measures 4 7/8" long and 1 1/8" wide. The brass flip up ends have an intricately embossed design and the hinges are in good condition and close tightly. The interior stoppers are missing and one end has some corrosion on the interior(see photos) No other condition problems. The bottle is in excellent Estate condition with no other noted damage. Vintage Brass & Glass Perfume Bottle Pendant With dabber Flower Pearl
Vintage Brass& Glass Perfume Bottle pendant with dauber/ dabber- has a flower with a pearl center at the top. the pendant ring at the top of the flower is bent as you can see it the pictures- will need to be straightened out so that it is secure if you are going to use this. the little vial is glass and measures just over 1 1/8" long by itself. It is 1/4" round. as it sits with the flower top it is 1 7/8" long to the top of the flower and 2" to the top of the bale. the little brass filigree case the glass sits in is 1 1/4" long and 3/8" round. i think it might be just brass coated- not sure- a magnet does not stick to it. the little dauber piece is 1/4" long. it is a very tight fit for the dauber piece to fit into the glass vial- i've taken it out before- but i don't want to keep doing it for ... morefear i will break it. i don't see any name on it at all. needs cleaning. Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE! Up for auction is Cut Glass( Crystal) Chatelaine with a twist off lid. The lid still has it's original cork but there is a faint crack down the middle. It does not appear that the crack goes all the way through the cork. Although the lid is not stamped I do think because of the color& texture of the metal that the lid is possibly gold filled. I used my gold kit to test it and it showed as 10K but you would want to verify that with a professional as I cannot guarantee this. There is no internal stopper. The bottle is very clean inside and out. There are no chips or cracks that I can detect to the glass body. I did find two microscopic fleabites to the very tip as shown in the photos. There is also a very small pin prick sized hole at the bottom edge of the ... morelid. See photos. It is 2 7/8 inches long and 3/4 inch across at the widest which is right beneath the lid. Beautiful Enamel & Jeweled Brass, Glass Treasure Chest Perfume Bottle
This is a beautiful enamel& jeweled perfume bottle. In very good condition. Measures approx. 1 1/2" wide and almost 1 1/2" tall. It has red jewels on top and on the front and floral enameling on the front. It opens up and has a glass bottle inside with a glass dabber and a large red jewel on top. It also has a nice ornate brass design. An unique piece! I am also selling a Victorian Perfume bottle, see picture 6 in a seperate auction. These would make great addition to any perfume collection! The 2 brothers where rich and traveled the world buying fine items and antiques from all over and were especially fond of Oriental. It was said that Charles liked the 1896 Worlds Fair Japanese Exhibit so much that he bought the whole exhibit. Grandmas house was a 3 story, 16 bedroom home, stuffed with antiques. In the 1970's her house full of treasures was appraised at 36 million. She died in 1989 and most items went to auction. Her 3 sons split up the rest.
