This Stopper can of course be replaced. The Tapering Bottle Measures 5 ¼ inches in length and the Fine Silver Top which is shaped like a Crown with no dents. It seems there could be a very small band of Silver Missing at the bottom of the collar 0.2 of a cm. This is where the original Hall Marks would have been and would have been dated around 1895. Description Welcome to my Auction. For a superb Antique Victorian- Solid silver& deep cobalt blue glass. Miniature scent/ perfume bottle. With a corked screw top so no need for a stopper. Circa 1880 In wonderful condition. Not hallmarked as was so typical with these Antique Victorian scent bottles. The beautiful flat tubular glass is in lovely condition. The blue bottle is the most wonderful colour being the deepest of the cobalt shades with a hint of purple. With no chips or nibbles. The solid silver screw on lid has heavy repousse silver work of flowers& leaves. Absolutely stunning. I can feel a slight indentation to the lid where the tip of my finger rests when unscrewing the lid. This is very hard to see due to the ornate decoration to the lid. I mention for total accuracy. The scent bottle Measures approx- 6.8cms or 2.6 inches ... morein height. Weighs- 23.4 grams. A beautiful miniature scent bottle which has clearly been treasured& looked after as its wonderful condition shows. Boston. Sandwich Glass Works, 24-rib pattern, pontil scar on base. This is an excellent example of a blown American toilet water bottle made at the Sandwich Glass Work. Circa 1825–1840 using the three-mold technique. It has a rich cobalt blue color, tapered ovoid form, with a deep, geometric 24-rib pattern swirled to the left. The bottle has a tooled flanged collar and a plain base with pontil scar. The bottle stands 5 3/4 inches high with a base circumference of 8 1/2 inches. There is one small bubble on the neck and the lightest surface wear around the edge of the bottle base(see photos) but all else is perfect. The bottle is missing its“tam-o’shanter” ... morestopper.

This tiny scent bottle is a truly beautiful cobalt blue color in very good condition! It has nicks on the top and a very few tiny nicks to the cut glass edges. Please look at all photo's closely. Overall. It's in really great shape. I believe this scent bottle must be at least 100 years old and probably older. I would not be at all surprised if it were made in the late 1800's but it is NOT marked. The glass is hand cut and the lines are imperfect. The sterling top is in excellent condition with no dents, dings or splits. The cork inside is intact and whole. I can still smell a hint of whatever perfume used to be kept in it. It measures a VERY small 15/16" wide by 1-7/8" tall and is 1/2" deep. I am downsizing my personal collections and will be listing many vanity items. RARE PERFUME BOTTLE LIBBEY COBALT BLUE CUT TO CLEAR ART GLASS WITH PEACOCK NR, Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album Click to View Image Album DESCRIPTION: This listing is for a perfume bottle that was surely made by the Libbey Glass Company of Toledo. Ohio. An extremely similar one signed Libbey appears on page 137 in the rarities section of Pearson's book A Study Of American Cut Glass Collections. It is also shown on page 50 of his Volume#2 book. My piece has cobalt blue color glass cased over clear glass on the bottle and a black overlay stopper. The piece in the books is said to just have a black glass overlay. The bird that I believe is a peacock; looks to be identical and the 2 swirled balls ... morematch also. The only real difference that I see beside the color is that my stopper is longer near the top and mine does not appear to be signed. Similar cut to clear pieces appear in the Fauster's Libbey Glass book and they give me the impression that this piece was probably made in the 1920's or 1930's. It measures 8-1/2" high and the base is 2-3/8" in diameter. The weight is 8.7 ounces. The blank is blown with a polished pontil on the bottom. The unpolished or frosted peacock and plant cutting has good depth and nice detail work. The peacock is a common ingredient in many Art Nouveau style items. The overall condition is excellent. The stopper fits very well and sits at an appropriate level. The stopper and dauber look to be perfect except for a pinpoint sized nick that is probably an exposed bubble with a swirl of minute bubbles next to it where the pontil was polished on top. The bottle is in great condition and I would call it near perfect. The interior looks good, but to be picky I'll mention some scratches where the dauber has rubbed. These can only be seen if you hold it up to bright light and look closely for them. This piece could appeal

Vintage cobalt blue cut glass perfume bottle SILVER ENDS as found
Thank you for viewing this auction for a vintage cobalt blue perfume bottle with silver ends( I would like to think it is unmarked sterling but not sure but a lot of these were unmarked) Item is 5 3/4 inches long from cap to cap. The cobalt is about 1 1/8 inches round. Used condition the flip top silver end is good but the cork that seals the perfume is on the inside in 2 pieces and I will leave it there for the buyer to remove(shown in last photo) The screw on end appears to have had the end on the bottle reset as it probably came loose and is worn(See Photo) the top for that end has the cork still inside and has a couple of slight cracks on the end closest to bottle(see upside photo) The cobalt has some nicks in the glass nothing to major. Sweet little cobalt blue glass perfume bottle. Encased in ornate gilt metal and decorated with rhinestone scripted letter S. The glass is in excellent condition, and dauber is in tact. Lid works well. There are a few rhinestones missing from the S, and it appears that at one time there may have been an ornament or rhinestone to the top(easy to replace! I can only detect verdigris at two spots in the front, otherwise the gilt looks wonderful, but this little gem needs a proper cleaning. Bottle measures about 2-1/2" high by 2" wide, and 1" deep. English Mid 19th C. Cobalt Blue Perfume Bottle
This great cut crystal cobalt blue perfume bottle has its original ground glass lid in the form of a Maltese cross. Its octagonal body is divided into three facetted bands. Each is decorated engraved and gilded diamond shaped lines and notches. the mouth of the bottle is also octagonal facetted. the piece has an almost Art Deco look but I think it was made in the mid 19th c. There is a relatively small chip near the mouth of the bottle and a few minor chips in the stopper(see photos) The bottle is 3 1/8th" tall(with stopper) and 1 1/4" in approx. diameter. And is a scent or smelling salts bottle with chain and finger ring which a lady would have kept handy in case of faintness. This would have either been in her"reticule" purse) muff, or she would have suspended it from her finger as she danced in case of"faintness" This is European and would date circa 1860's and has fine Bohemian Moser style enameling with golden tracery of a web and beautifully enameled lily of the valley superimposed. This has lost the original brass cap which would have covered the stopper- the hinge is still here. But the cap apparently got snapped off in the deep dark past. The blue stopper is"frozen" in place. Sorry. The internal cobalt ... moreblue crystal stopper is still intact. And visually, this is a very pleasing scent bottle. This is a deep. English Cobalt Bristol Blue Double Ended Perfume Bottle c. 1875
We are offering a beautiful Victorian period Bristol blue double ended perfume bottle from c. 1875. It has an eight sided hand ground panel or facet cut sides and shoulders. There are a couple of very tiny chips(in no way visually distracting) in the ribs of the facets and one hinged lid is detached and its stopper is missing. The other hinge is intact and the stopper is present. The glass is a deep rich blue with the central section almost violet when held to the light. the bottle is a total of 5 1/8" long and about 1 1/8" in diameter. Victorian Cut Glass Double Ended Perfume Bottle in Cobalt Blue
Here is a beautiful Cut Glass. Double Ended perfume or scent bottle in Cobalt Blue. It measures 5" long and has hinged brass caps. Decagon in shape which most of the double ended bottles are Octagon(10 panels rather than eight or octagon. There is a dent in one of the end caps but both hinges work good. The bottle originally comes with glass stoppers that the caps conceal and they are missing. Also it has a small chip on one panel. Absolutely beautiful! Please see the pictures before you bid.

Sweet antique/vintage cobalt blue glass perfume bottle. Encased in ornate gilt metal and decorated with rhinestone scripted letter S. The glass is in excellent condition, and dauber is in tact. Lid works well. There are a few rhinestones missing from the S, and it appears that at one time there may have been a rhinestone to the top(easy to replace! I can only detect verdigris at two spots in the front, otherwise the gilt looks wonderful, but this little gem needs a proper cleaning. Bottle measures about 2-1/2" high by 2" wide, and 1" deep.
